338. What is Equal Money Capitalism?

Rehabilitating Capitalism to become an economic solution that Works and Benefits  Everyone Equally is  the way  to ensure our common wellbeing and best interests are guarded to generate a sustainable living condition that leads to Happiness, Freedom, Peace and Harmony on Earth. A New Living System that will Challenge your Common Sense and Integrity.

Continuing:

Problem

  • We have made Money more than the Value of Life – this implies that the outflows of our own creation have turned against us due to our desire to have power and control over others in the name of self interest and greed. There is no Integrity in the form of capitalism where money has become an end in itself, where life is not valued in Equality but only reduced to become another ‘item’  or product that can be transformed into a new need to make some profit out of it.

  • There is no Self Respect in a world where we bind each other to the relationships we form based on money which creates inequality, because there is no equal opportunity to make money to live in dignity. This enables the social polarization and Inequality that currently exists, where only a minority have the access to most of the wealth/ power in the world and mostly work on increasing it/capitalizing it. This creates the belief that such individuals are to be considered ‘more powerful’ than other human beings just because of having ‘more money’ which means that there is no Physical Common Sense as the regard of each individual as equal and requiring the same means to live and the same desires to have a happy and comfortable life, but instead we value the ability to abuse within a system where money decides who lives like a king and who starves to death.

  • There is no Authority in a world where what we see is Common Sense, what would be Best for All is diminished to be a ‘pipe dream’ or a ‘utopia’ when declaring that All individuals should be Supported in Equality to have the Best Living Condition possible – instead we abdicate our ability to direct ourselves as equals as life by delegating our power to a governmental structure where our ‘representatives’ have no genuine interest to guard everyone’s best interests in equality. Instead we justify the disparity based on the diversity of education, skills, country, race, age and general ‘environmental conditions’ which implies placing our living capacity and necessity subject to rules and regulations that limit each one’s living condition instead of enhancing it – and  justify this Inequality as something ‘real,’ when we all know that we are all made of flesh and bones, we all require the same elements to live.

  • We are not regarding and considering all other Life Forms as Equals within our reality, we have turned animals, plants and the Earth’s resources into mere raw materials that make us make money and keep fueling our current lifestyles. We have No Self Respect and no Consideration for them being also equal parts of who we are as One and Equal. This has been also the result of our Education and the way we conceive, perceive and understand reality wherein we have imposed our dominion as human beings, as knowledge and information that we call Intellect where there is no regard to what is Best for All, but only what will make the most profit and make only some be the winners in a system designed to create just that: winners and losers and call it ‘having to make a living.’

  • The origin of the problem to this system is often being diverted to only blame our current Authorities, while the reality is that the system is created and conformed by each one of us, which means that ‘The System’ is the reflection and result of each one of us as our Individual participation, it is what we have become as Self-Interest driven players of a game where we have complied to believe that ‘our goal in life is to seek to ‘make More’ than others’ and teach each other to never be satisfied with having just Enough and the necessary to live. There is this inherent drive to Greed that we fuel and live by as our purpose and intent throughout our life, which is reflected in the laws and terms that create the necessary conditions to ‘maximize profit’ and ‘ensure one’s success’ which is based upon the abuse imposed onto other individuals that are left deliberately ‘out of the game,’  so that they have no other option but working on slave-jobs that will enable them to ‘get money to live,’ instead of each one of us ensuring every person has equal access to dignified labor conditions that pays equal to any other position in a corporation or a business, since we are all humans and require the same type of support to live.

  • There is no Common Sense in a system where money is valued upon life and for that, it is our collective acceptance to believe that some are meant to be poor and some are meant to be billionaires. There is no common sense in a system configuration where two human beings made of the same flesh and bones and living in the same world can make $7.25 per hour on a regular work and others in ‘CEO’ positions can make up to $5000 per hour which, is the kind of contrast that proves there is no physical regard to a sensible value of ourselves as Life, we have become absolutely delusional to believe there is any way to justify this abuse of life and call it ‘success’ and ‘wealth.’

  • We live in a system where fearing each other to survive has become the essential characteristic of our human nature, the ‘survival of the fittest’ is the foundation of our schooling systems because we have conditioned each other to fear not having enough money to live – or never enough “success” to be satisfied with and always seeking for more – we know we cheat and lie to each other to make money, because that’s ‘how the system works’ and if not, one is prone to be robbed and subject to corruption because of some individuals having no means to make a living in a dignified manner. We fear at all times having to be left with no money and resorting to self abusive ways to subsist in a world where abusive jobs are allowed and unregulated by the laws that should protect our integrity and basic living rights by granting access and generating means for each one to have a dignified work to live – this Common Sense is Non existent in our society at this stage.

  • We fear our authorities the same way that any ‘god’ is feared, we accept the imposition of institutions like our own government, international organizations and institutions, banks and corporations as ‘the untouchable’ sectors of our society, as something we have ‘no power to change’ while disregarding that it is each one of us that have voted off our ability to change a system where no corporation is being regulated by democratic means.  There is no regard for our ‘Best Interest’ in a system where what matters is enhancing, ensuring and provoking what should be illicit enrichment instead of ‘profit making’ and justify it as one’s ability to pursue happiness. Our laws and regulations have become weapons against our own well being.

  • The Cult of Individualism is adopted by each one as our lifestyle, our own religion where only our personal interests are considered, where we value who we are according to images/pictures and concepts as the ‘Idea’ of ourselves more than a physical and common sense integrity; instead we generate more ways to justify and excuse  the abuse of life and the transformation of each other as mere products and assets where even our children are dragged to become part of the ‘work force,’ where mothers are forced to give birth to children that have no medicals support or a certainty to be able to feed them properly, where we allow people to go homeless and live tents and survive on food stamps while having empty houses for sale and tons of food is disposed and maimed so that ‘no profit’ can be made out of its failed retail sale. These are all indicatives of there being no democracy whatsoever in this society, yet it still remains as our own ‘card’ left to restore the sanity that we have lost or never in fact lived before.

  • There is an entire world to redefine from the root and cause of the problem, which is the mind of ourselves as human beings that regard money as more than life, losing all physical commonsense of how we are the ones that created money, we accepted its ‘ways of existing’ and it is now our own creation that we are all enslaved by. Thus, it is our collective responsibility to take part in its rehabilitation, to transform the capitalist system to a sustainable and best for all living condition, as it always should have been, as it was intended to be but got high-jacked by personal desires to have all the power and control over others, a human trait that each one will have to ensure is corrected and aligned to recognize our Equality if we are to survive in this world – this is a process and it begins with redefining the meaning of our words and direct them to always ensure that life is regarded as equal in all.

Solution

  • Equal Money Capitalism is the key to adapt, change and reform the current political and economic structures of our corrupted form of capitalism, take its basic principles of serving individual rights to have all of the necessary means to satisfy our physiological vital requirements, and improve our individual development and social relationships with the base foundation of ensuring we support All people Equally to have access to this.

  • Equal Money Capitalism is based on practical physical reality: what you give is what you receive, you get money to live according to the work you do in equal remuneration to everyone else where your living condition is ensured to be satisfactorily fulfilled by virtue of our collective effort. The motivation is the realization that we require everyone participating to keep living in such a sustainable and comfortable condition that benefits all. And, just as any other organism, if it stops working to obtain the necessary means to live, it dies – so we all have to ensure that we keep the system alive by our individual contribution. This is a physical organic consideration at a social level, being a vital organ of the ecosystem and coexisting in symbiotic relationships within it.

Equal Money Capitalism will be the necessary transition step to as a global society establish an Equal Money System as presented at www.equalmoney.org
Equal Money Capitalism therefore investigates what Capitalism should be like according to its very own principles – and thus, what requires to be adjusted within the current Capitalistic system to make it a system that works for everyone.
A few pointers:

  • Full employment is not negotiable, each one requires to be employed and receive an equal ‘wage’. This implies that if a person’s job is replaced by a machine, that the person is not fired, but is given a different task in a different department of the company.
  • Companies will be required to have an Environmental Department that is tasked with giving back to the Earth what was taken in the production process. For instance, if a company utilizes clean water for its production process – then the Environmental Department will be in charge of purifying the water so it can as much as possible be reintegrated into the ecosystem. If a company utilizes wood – then the Environmental Department will assist with planting trees in areas where it would be supportive for the ecosystem. Such departments will assist with the full employment requirement.
  • Free stuff is not acceptable as this creates monopolies. It also implies that someone is not remunerated for their contribution in the production process. Free stuff can only be produced when you have slaves to produce them.
  • Each worker in a company will be owner of the company, and thus, each one receives an equal share of the profit. This means that one’s profit share is one’s wage.
  • No-one owns the Earth’s resources – they belong to the Earth. We are here and are able to utilize them and when we go, the Earth must be able to continue to support itself and the life on it. Therefore, when we pay a price for a good or service, we pay for labor only as we don’t require to pay any owner of the resource. Herein, raw resource management will be an important task of Government.
  • Governments will be tasked with ensuring that each one is provided with their Basic Human Rights – therefore, things like Healthcare, Housing, Sanitation, etc. will be provided by the government and one pays for them through tax.
  • If Equal Money Capitalism (EMC) is successful, we can reconsider whether a step towards an Equal Money System (EMS) is required or not.
Maite Zamora Moreno’s answer to Equal Money Capitalism: What is Equal Money Capitalism? – Quora

  • The removal of our current survival mode will be created as an outflow of each one of us living our responsibility to become active participants in our economy which will be founded upon providing equal support to everyone through having an assured access to Education and work to earn money and as such, each one becoming a well educated and integral participant of a society where the Living Principle is to create What is Best for All in Equality.  This ensures that everyone’s best interest is created/generated and sustained by the collective participation with equal consistent support ensured by direct democratic means, which is the form of government that will exist in a participatory economy where each one’s vote is counted to decide what is best for all.

  • Our self-interest as a Common Wellbeing Interest is to have a fulfilling living condition  with all our needs met and having access to a  comfortable, secure and assured  living conditions. In an Equal implementation of these capacities, we require to give access to such benefits in an equitable manner. How to do this? Through the equal profit distribution policy applied to every participant in a business/ organization/ institution/ corporation in an equal manner – this is the way in which we can ensure that everyone’s right to be happy, to be healthy and enjoy life is guaranteed by virtue of their own work and effort. These are all physical reality plausible living conditions wherein no other philosophical or ideological terms are required.

  • All of these solutions require an extensive and gradual process that begins with the Process to take Self Responsibility for ourselves at an individual level to then be able to stand together to create the necessary political platform of individuals that can be proven to be acting and deciding what is best for all by our equal participation to do so. Direct Democracy through e-democratic processes and direct referendum are political solutions that are discussed further in the following blog and series:

Rewards

  • Life will be the only Value that exists. This means that no one will have to be sacrificed to create a general wellbeing, instead each one will become a person that lives to develop and enhance one’s living expression and skills/abilities  in order to excel within the consideration of what is best for all, becoming a living participant that takes part in the creation and production of these common wellbeing principles. Each one’s contribution to the common good will be the result of self-responsible individuals working toward the same outcome:  No one will be allowed to get any less than their best living condition – this means no suffering and no misery, no marginalization, no poverty, no famine, no crime, no violence, no abuse and no harm will exist or be allowed.

  •   By covering everyone’s Best for All condition, we ensure that no one seeks to deliberately abuse to create a relationship of power and control. This s the foundation of actual freedom between individuals, which is only able to exist if Everyone is Equally supported to Live in a Free condition, in other words not being bound by undemocratic rules and regulations, but instead implementing a Living System  based on a Universal Principle: Equality as Life, translated as ‘Give as you would like to Receive,’ ‘Love your Neighbor as Yourself, ‘ ‘Investigate all things and keep what’s best,’ ‘Do onto others as you would like them to do onto you,’ which are the pillars of our morality and ethics of Life in Equality.

  • No one will be ever again a slave as someone that is forced and coerced to perform jobs or activities that he/she does not want to do but has no other option because of needing money in a desperate manner. Within this, we will consider that all those ‘shitty jobs’ that no one wants to do will have to be done by ourselves, taking responsibility for what we used to enslave others to do for us, this is an example of how Self Responsibility in fact creates a state of freedom where no one is subjugated to do jobs/ work that they don’t want to do only because they ‘need the money.’ No one will be sacrificed for the greater good, since sacrifices imply abuse and abuse cannot exist if everyone is always living in the best condition possible.

  • Being self determined and actually free with full authority upon our reality can only exist in a system where Self-Honesty is established as the basic mechanism that ensures the functionality of our society at a social, political and economic level, which means that every single word, every single action and social/political/economic system that we create must be engineered to ensure that each one’s living condition is granted and satisfied within the principle of What’s Best for All. This is how an actual evolution and development can take place in humanity, where we  focus on learning how to live and coexist as equals, deliberately changing our intrusive and abusive nature to become beings that are worthy of life and able to give to honor and trust each other by virtue of being equally participating to generate the common well being.

Problem

The alienation of the spectator to the profit of the contemplated object (which is the result of his own unconscious activity) is expressed in the following way: the more he contemplates the less he lives; the more he accepts recognizing himself in the dominant images of need, the less he understands his own existence and his own desires. The externality of the spectacle in relation to the active man appears in the fact that his own gestures are no longer his but those of another who represents them to him. This is why the spectator feels at home nowhere, because the spectacle is everywhere.  – Guy Debord, The Society of the Spectacle [1]

Soft Imperialism by Culture and MediaContinuation

  • Creating needs in people, tell them consuming is  ‘what life is all about’ and you get a certain market that will live a devoted life to praise consumption and reduce life to a series of experiences that end the moment a new trend comes out, a new experience to buy, a new gadget to wear and upgrade one’s image of  success worn as clothes, accessories, shoes, cars, pictures of being having the ‘great life’ – but, deep inside there is a strong sense of alienation that is  difficult to look from ‘outside’ because it is virtually everywhere as part of ‘who we are’ and the identities we become, which are the byproduct of the same profitable society that breeds consumers, not living beings.

  • Trading our goods and services has nothing o do with the cult of the image that we have built around consumerism, it is necessary to realize that our lives cannot be determined by the amount of experiences we have, how many ‘valuable objects’ we own, because these are all the values that keep the same system running, wherein our needs and desires are shaped in the image and likeness of celebrities that we seek to mimic and adopt as our own identity. That’s the configuration of our society and that’s why Debord emphasizes that we feel ‘at home’ nowhere, because the spectacle is everywhere, and everyone buys into it.

The spectacle within society corresponds to a concrete manufacture of alienation. Economic expansion is mainly the expansion of this specific industrial production. What grows with the economy in motion for itself can only be the very alienation which was at its origin. (Debord, 1967)

  • What we grow every time we buy is our self-image built around the cult of what we own, how we look, what we choose as our ‘lifestyle.’ This alienation is not only existent toward that which we buy, having no idea how it is produced and where it will end once we’re ‘done’ with it – we get alienated from the very physical reality that we are as our physical body. We’ve made of our flesh and bones an Image that we seek to Adapt according to the images on billboards, creating eating disorders and self image obsessions that occupy a being’s entire life where even if food is not consumed, the image seeking pretty much consumes the being alive, making of an internal conflict a time-consuming entity that leads us to be absolutely unaware of reality, but only exist in the glorious self interest of me-my-image-and-myself.

  • The consumer culture is the greatest form of degradation that we have faced as  humanity, because it stopped being a momentary form of distraction a few hours a day or a momentary treat after a hard day of work, it’s become who we are and how we behave and  have shaped our values, beliefs, morals, relationships according to these  Images that are upgraded every season. This means that: you have to buy NEW things every time to be ‘up-to-date’ in a society that believes it is important to  have a fresh look and  identity according to mass-media trends and ensure you are ‘upgraded’ and follow what your social tribe of preference dictates to buy every other season – this has become ‘mandatory’ if you don’t want to face marginalization for not being ‘cool enough’ to have enough money to Buy new things on a constant basis.

  • Children are taught to seek love, money and superhero traits – teenagers learn to be disillusioned about  a world that has nothing to do with the fantasy presented in movies and videogames, new heroes representing the ideal lifestyles of perfectly tailored models that become ‘the voice of a generation’ emerge as depressive-and-on-meds type of figures that values more spending time feeling a constant need for ‘something’ and seeking it surfing in the net, consuming drugs, buying, drinking, gossiping, playing with gadgets rather than enjoying physical interaction with each other to learn how to live in the first place.
  • What’s the common denominator here? People seek experiences generated in the idleness of our sedentary lives that require constant updates of personal computers, phones, more and bigger flat screen TVS that constantly imprint the images we want to become. But, who has decided to present this to us? It is only in the benefit of those that sell the products that we get to ‘choose’ what we desire. Entertainment would not be an industry if the prefab images shown on TV weren’t available for sale.

  • We can see the pattern already: the main problem is our constant desire to Experience –  the world revolves around this. There would be no point to buy, consume, visit places and eat up stories to make us feel good.  We have diminished ourselves to a collection of experiences, memories, people that we believe are important to us for what they make us feel. Who benefits from this? Everyone that is able to create the perfect setting, the perfect stage for such ‘insta-moments,’ the perfect drug-drink to consume, the greatest clothes to wear, the greatest cars to show off, the most benefits that only a few can afford – which makes it even More special and exclusive.
  • We live to praise our self-images that determine how valuable we are at the eyes of everyone else – is it? Or have we just become an illusion to such an extent that we cannot even get to question how we got ourselves into this insatiable state of consumption, leading us to a life of constant energy fixed desires, becoming drug addicts, sex  addicts, TV junkies, celebrity gossipers, government bashers, economy illiterates, freedoms seekers and god seekers, getting high and jumping off balconies to challenge ‘the system’ and make a general anthem of ‘Ignorance is Bliss’ as the road to walk for the next generations to come.

How long can we keep this show running?  We have reached the bottom of our downward spiral – how much more repetition can we take?

  • Let’s look at our thoughts, see how many of them relate to an experience about who we are, how others see us, what we want to buy next, where we want to be? Were we the creators of these seemingly unstoppable desires? are we the result of the perfect feel good enslavement that is sold to us every time we want to Feel something new? Yes, it is – and we have all fell for it –doesn’t matter ‘who’ you are,  individualization has been made the most important thing that we hold, beyond any common sense of being breathing physical beings.

  • The truth is we have never really been ‘ourselves’ because we have only existed as mind systems seeking for energetic experiences that are bottled up, tagged and sold because we desire, hope and need it. We have sold our physical body to the devil, which is the system that we all feed with our desires, the greatest treats that justify a life of slavery, poverty and abuse for a majority,  because we all work to get these bits of heaven in order to numb ourselves from our reality that we ended up victimizing ourselves from, believing that the corporate monster is to blame, instead of looking at the very thinking processes that fuel this entire machinery that is seemingly as unstoppable as our own mind – here I state: it is Only a Belief that it can’t be stopped – We  have to take ourselves to the origin of our thoughts to prove such belief is simply an expensive  delusion.

Solution

The Spectacle Meets Rehab

  • Considering practicality/money and necessity over experience, looking if what we want to buy in fact only feeds our ‘self image,’ pursuing the experience of owning something, or who one will be when compared to others that don’t have what we do, and instead look at the facts if one in fact Need what we are about to buy, or if I one is subconsciously buying an character-accessory to store within this personal vault of memories and experiences that we define as ‘who I am.’

This is a key experiment that I dare everyone reading this to do, and if you are Self Honest which means you don’t ‘fall’ for your desires, you should see a considerable amount of money remaining in your bank account/pocket/ under your mattress, because you will be able to stop yourself and realize that what you are buying is only an Illusion, that it will be a flickering moment just like a match that burns bright and consumes itself to ashes, requiring us to flick another to brighten the same darkness that we have avoided to become: physical stable living beings that do not require an Experience to be alive – think about this this, will generate a Great change in our consumer culture if we integrate this understanding in our day to day living behavior, which will include getting to know How our products are created, where they end up after they are no longer used and the consequential outflows of producing and distributing such products to satisfy our desires, then decide what we can keep and dispose all that only feeds greed.

  • Solutions for isolation with our current gadgetry lifestyles. There is nothing wrong with the techno-advances that we have, but a few considerations are shared here:  once that we realize that we are not images, we’ll spent less time cultivating our fascinations to further specialize the ‘who we are’ as this character/self image toward others, we’ll spend that time developing a relationship with ourselves, to get to know that Self that has only existed as the byproduct of our society, of our parents and the media that filled the ‘void’ in our lives.

Here we can make it fun to – upon recognizing this prefab/ pre-packaged condition we all kept as ourselves– realize that we can in fact for the very first time in our human existence Decide who we want to be, integrate Values that consider our Equality as Life, living to become a contributor to a social transformation that will remove our spectacle attires, stripping ourselves  to see what remains once that we stop feeding our consumer driven and personality-cult obsessions. A group effort is required for this, each one of us will stand as an example of what it will take to stop being addicted to the mind and learn to appreciate the physical that is what has always been here, that we’ll  learn to trade as a living meaning of giving and receiving in Equality – no more greed for superiority and mind-driven personality fixes.

Rewards

  • Opening up our eyes from the illusion will mean a transformation in our entertainment and ‘variety production’ in this world. Imagine the amount of ‘special items’ dedicated to the cult of self that could be significantly reduced when people stop buying experiences and instead, learn how to invest on supportive items, genuinely enjoyable treats and re-learn how to communicate, share and essentially enjoy each other’s presence beyond the constant up keeping of a Character that we sold to others, in fear of being vulnerable about our real experiences, our questions, our thoughts and fears – we’ll be able to heal a drugged up, shopaholic and self abusive society with the ability to share our ‘Consumer Anonyms’ stories, as well as forgiving our constant competitions and fights over our pet peeves, that have also became necessary religions to idealize the perfect ‘originality’ that everyone sought to attain in our so-called lives.

  • We can make the crash and the fall of our mental high, the landing on Earth after the illusion of grandeur a humble experience to learn from each other, to forgive ourselves for having turned this Earth into a massive grave of products chocking animals on Earth an in the sea, bits of junk that once caused us a form of joy, never questioning if we actually needed that or not.

  • Consumerism as a disease will be treated at an individual level with the understanding that we have all complied to turn beings into slaves and nature, the animals, plants as assets that became accessories to our ideal prefab characters we sought to be and become. It is the least thing we can do after we have succumbed to a never quenching mind thirst for more, while forgetting that we are, beyond all, physical living beings that Live  and Breathe regardless of what we believe and experience at a mind level. Desire for more, Greed  is the real evil that we have to disintegrate from our core-programming, and we have the support here: Desteni  I Process.

329. Media Culture in Equal Money Capitalism

A softer modality of imperialism exists in the seemingly innocent way we entertain ourselves, an ever expansive desire-driven consumerist empire in the instant-image world where everyone aims to be a star and ignore the reality that implodes in every second of our supersized glamourized lifestyles.

Problem

In cultural studies, media culture refers to the current western capitalist society that emerged and developed from the 20th century, under the influence of mass media.Media culture is associated with consumerism, and in this sense called alternatively “consumer culture.”

– Jansson, André (2002) The Mediatization of Consumption, Journal of Consumer Culture, March 2002 vol. 2 no. 1 5-31

Soft Imperialism by Culture and Media

The reason why it is important to be aware of  Neo-Colonialism as the deployment of massive consumerist propaganda by Multi National Corporations  is because there is no regulation from government or any other institution that decides ‘what is acceptable to offer’ to people to buy.  This is the ideological imperialism that we have adopted under the name of culture, fashion, music, arts, the  ideas of humanity ‘evolving’ somehow through the changes in images, pictures, artifacts, technologies, internet, audiovisual arts – yet, what we consume is precisely an outflow of an ideological apparatus that leads us to continually seek  have the experiences reproduced in our TV shows, movies, street ads, the ‘values’ that our celebrities represent –  but it is only yet another vulgar display of power wherein we learn to idolize and venerate people that make millions while telling people to ‘be free’ and unlimited’ and ‘seek their own happiness/ follow your dreams!’ and all this positive outlook toward life wherein there is not a single consideration of inducing people to question the system, why not? Because that would simply lead people to stop consuming and actually re-consider what is it that we are really ‘living’ for nowadays, wherein one learns that buying clothes, going to parties, seeking to get high, get drunk every Friday night and then repeat after 24 hours is our idea of freedom.

Our freedom and ‘right to life’ has been sold by our  governments who have become only the ‘executers’ of corporate desires to justify the intervention, subjugation, coercion  and injection of culture and ideology around the globe,  which is also a vital aspect to consider here since that is what is ever present in any country where entertainment is also an export from the United States, becoming part of our dear globalized forms of entertainment in our digital era.

I would dare to say this is quite a ‘glamorously disguised’ form of imperialism seen as ‘benevolent’ due to its ability to infiltrate and install within individuals an entire ideological  and moral conditioning as a new  engineered lifestyle based on consumerism sold as entertainment – movies, TV series, cartoons, commercials, news networks, advertising and marketing campaigns,  wherein all that we ‘learn’ is to enhance individualism, the sense of specialness and personal enhancement through acquiring products that make us feel like the stars on TV, create a general ‘good feeling’ about what we see and that makes us feel like we want to have the same clothes, hair, looks, attitude, perspective about life and in general, have a Lot of money to buy all of that and more.

It is also difficult to gauge the level of diffusion or control it, since it mostly exits in the form of websites, audiovisuals that are salable and accessible for a very small amount of money – or non at all -covering the walls and billboards in our cities, on every TV screen and popular media that is accessible even to those that have little to no money in our current societies. The same goes for the actors within such industry such as celebrities, music/musicians, unfortunately arts  that have also become another form of propaganda wherein post-modernism states that ‘anything goes’  and our true art has become only the reflection of our own decadence in terms of lacking any form of common sensical values to promote a self responsible human being; instead we’re shaping our minds and the minds of our children from the moment they are placed in front of a TV as life-long partner wherein we develop our special needs and desires every single day that we don’t realize how we are adopting the way we think, speak and behave from the people on the screen, and we like it.  This is the corporate capitalist principle, the candy given to the kid so that it keeps coming back for more and basing our entire economic, political and social structures in order to feed the profit motive, nothing more and nothing less.

The ideas of a luxurious home, a perfected body image, the ideal attitude that can ‘trump’ everyone else, being always fresh and ready to ‘break the rules and break free,’ get the latest trend clothes, buy the latest car, the biggest house, through the wildest party, consume exorbitant amount of drugs and alcohol and you shall be Free.

What no one realizes is how it is the most Perfect way to maintain individuals occupied with how we look, how we feel about our bodies, each other, our relationships – sex/love – seeking ways to have more money so that we can continue enhancing this image that must be ‘the best’ and most-expensive look to get the most respect and become a celebrity for a day. King for a day, fool for a lifetime of chasing the ideal image that was only ‘ideal’ the moment it became the standard one in our TV screens and magazines.

Our ‘stars’ have become the spokespeople to advocate a society of glamour, grandeur, rebellion, an ‘anything goes’ attitude, of ‘whatevers’ and nevermind the human decay, where great apathy for any social matters is embedded, making it an ‘uncool’ thing to be aware of, no one wants to see misery, to read what people ‘far away’ are going through,  everyone wants to feel good, to be happy and perpetuate the idealized perfection in image and ‘soul,’ learning that guarding your Nation’s security is part of your good deeds to get the most of this life and hopefully get a piece of Heaven to continue avoiding to see the actual hell that is avoided in bubbles of feel good experiences.

Solution

Letting go of these ingrained images, desires, wants and needs is going to be an arduous job, more so than implementing a single policy at a political level. We are talking about the images, stories, sounds that fill our lives every single day. I can speak from my perspective where music filled my days and how it felt like dying the moment I stopped making of music and the cult of artists an addiction to escape from the world.

We have to support each other to develop enough awareness about everything that we have consumed with no awareness, the reasons we have equated ourselves to the clothes that we wear, the shoes that we use, the way we do our hair, valuing the food according to the cost of it instead of the nutritional aspects of it – valuing friends according to how we look with them instead of developing actual communication skills, valuing a brand over the realization of the people that have no option in life but to be a slave to confection our ‘perfect clothes.’ We all wear sweatshop abuse made in Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia and China,  we cannot possibly  keep ignoring the dark side of our beloved beautiful people where all wealth has been built upon abuse.

We  have to re-evaluate what our media will be used for. We will still have TV shows, fashion, music, movies, etc. and they will in fact play yet another great role in promoting living values that have not been present yet, because no one wants to actually make people re-consider the world, because that would breed a major awakening in our society, destabilizing the feel-good bubbles of our experiences   – however we will have to let artists and media people know about a new set of considerations to be implemented within everything that they do. It will be like a ‘green revolution’ though this won’t only mean caring for the environment, but also the entire way we think, and conceive reality as ourselves, how we treat each other, what they write about in songs, how they present themselves, what they buy, their private wants, needs and desires that will certainly have to be re-evaluated once that wealth in such display is what drives people to seek to make the most money in order to be ‘just like their favorite star.’

New values that honor life will have to be embodied, written and spoken about  by those that one professed the opposite, that life was all about buying and consuming images that have to be bought and experienced.

The solution will have to be implemented in multiple levels in our society as explained in the blog 317. Equality in Equal Money Capitalism wherein we would have to proceed to use the Media as a means to educate, inculcate the principles of life in equality, giving as you would like to receive, understanding that Life is not an unlimited journey to pursue happiness but a physical expression to learn how to coexist and enjoy oneself and our relationships with others in our families, education, work and general social endeavors that benefit the majority, it is the reinsertion of the communal sense of belonging by physical interaction rather than mind stimulation, it will be the integration of a physical lifestyle that we have been so alienated of by staring at screens endless hours a day. It will be a communal effort to implement living values and expressions that will develop in consequence what is best for all life.

Rewards

Integrity, dignity, self respect, honor, justice, people that learn to stand equal to who we really are as equals instead of honoring images and starving oneself or over feeding a body that will not be reduced to an image, but will exist as the physical that confirms our existence, we are alive and our actual freedom of choice will exist when we stop feeding our minds with values of ‘who we have to be’ according to values acquired at a global level.

Life after God, Life after Money as a cult in itself will mean the redesign of life as a living principle, a deliberate act of instigating an interest to become a living example of an honorable being that doesn’t only serve a nation or lives up to perpetuating a perfect self-image, this is about embodying for the first time an actual living acceptance, a consideration of each other as equals and not rivals to compete against in dreams of specialness and glamour – of fastest gadgets, trips, clothes, jewels, cars, houses, giant wardrobes but a single consideration that Life is a physical living act of coexisting wit everyone as equals, Not being any longer a coin-operated consumer bot in the name of happiness.

The ability to give an end to this soft-imperialistic tactic of the ideal American lifestyle resides within each one of us: honoring life instead of the ego.

This is DESTENI – the Culture of Life

328. Neo Colonialism and Equal Money Capitalism

What happens when the laws of Free Market merge with hegemonic Foreign Policies?  A Cultural and Economic Empire that we are so immersed in within and without, that is seemingly impossible to stop the corporate machinery, but it is really only the power of each individual as a collective effort that can achieve this.

Continuing from:

307. CapitalismUS: Pursuit of Happiness

308. Might Makes Right: CapitalismUS

Problem

Why do States engage in Neo-Colonialism ?

  • Imperialism means to command, rule, it is the same type of expansion that corporations deploy and coined as Neo-colonialism where it doesn’t only imply an economic expansion on other states, but also include other ‘softer’ means of influence such as culture, language, values, morality, ideology which is precisely what CapitalismUS represents.  Adam Smith defined that the Empire was created to allow merchants and manufacturers to chase higher prices to farmers and laborers, this term has surely evolved over the centuries wherein it is not only trade that matters, but an entire cultural infiltration in which the individual is filled with beliefs of freedom, limitless expansion, the pursue of happiness and an individual ability to seek to be successful regardless of who has to be maimed by one’s desires to have more than others.  It is sugar coated with a positive strong moral sense of having ‘a right’ to pursue personal enterprises without any regard on whether such ‘dream’ is also available for other humans alike.

  • At a political level, Imperialism in the form of Neo-Colonialism serves Foreign Policy goals wherein the corporate states are concerned with maintaining a certain autarky and secure vital military assets at the same time, without sacrificing international trade with the already ‘allied’ territories through free trade treaties and other forms of coerced cooperation, such as sanctions that ultimately lead o corporate enrichment. There’s also the concept of global integration as in economic independence, expanding the group of trading partners so that they don’t have to trade with opposite regimes, which is why it is easier to ‘go and save the people from supposed ‘tyrant regimes’ to obtain a ‘positive reputation’ for saving foreigners and opening a door for this type of ‘free trade’ by sheer invasion. This is also good for gaining ‘National prestige’ such as appearing as the dominant power,  and living by the ethos of “Grow or Die” / “Eat or be Eaten”

  • The Multi-National Corporate Empire serves the never quenching desire for More which implies a cultural, ideological and moral consumerist-evangelization to create more markets, fuel the demand for goods and services and of course get tariff free resources from abroad.  However this is also being used as a way to ‘Save Foreigners’ from apparent abusive regimes, such as the stories  we’ve heard in Egypt, Libya, Iraq and the results are today quite visible to everyone as no more than ‘freedom and democracy’ intrusive techniques turned into spiritual salvations from the pater nostrum of the world, the United States of America.  The goal was not evangelization but the access to necessary resources to keep fueling yet another religion around the world, consumerism and money as an end in itself.

  • The consequences of this means acquiring an entire new system of government, the usual ‘Implementation of Democracy’ – which is the banner placed in front of all the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and virtually anywhere else where the U.S. has played the savior at the eyes of the world, as the Paternalistic colonization that it is. That’s why International Organizations like NATO were created, which historically at the end of WW2 it meant keep the Americans in, the Russians out and the Germans down.  Well, now the word order presents Germany as head of the EU state, yet America still dominates beyond the  North American zone of influence as an empire that it’s on it’s last minute of decay.

  • Ultimately we have to recognize that this form of Power has existed throughout human civilization and the Holy Roman Empire never ceased to exist, it only morphed into new ways to impose exactly the same forms of extortion while feeding bread and circus to the people, which we will also be looking at as the ‘soft side’ of imperialistic tactics. Power is an accepted and allowed  mind created invigorating experience that we must all take individual responsibility for, since we can only be ‘conquered’ if we accept any form of imposition within and without of ourselves.

Solution

Solutions to Neo-Corporate-Colonialism

Corporations will merely be structures of support – here to support Life and the Earth effectively. As such, companies will not be able to own natural resources such as mines, but will only be existent as facilitators – to ensure that all people receive the resources required while at the same time treating the resource with respect within managing it responsibly.

Day 177: Will there still be Retrenchment in Equal Money Capitalism?
http://economistjourneytolife.blogspot.com/2013/01/day-177-will-there-still-be.html

In EMC – Politics will be different from what it is today – one will not give up their voice to a representative and then hope that this representative indeed acts in your interest. Instead – each one will be part of the decision making. We go back to the origin of democracy, which was direct democracy. Ones territories started becoming too big for people to gather and do the decision-making, a system of representation was introduced. And for a moment, this was the best option available. But with today’s technology, we are able to implement true democracy once again – because we don’t require to physically come together to discuss and vote on things. We discuss and vote on things with people far away all the time on the internet; on forums, on twitter, on Facebook. So – to organise our political system in a way that everyone has a direct say is today possible and very do-able.

Those in political positions will merely be managers, but they will not be decision-makers

Monopolies

With EMC, we are moving away from monopolies, where a select amount of big corporations has control over particular products. Companies will be far more regional and community based as companies will exist from a point of responsibility towards their particular community. Within EMC, providing goods and services is not an opportunity to ‘hit it big’ in the world – it is how one contributes to society to make Life on Earth a worthwhile experience for everyone. When companies are locally based and operational, transport costs will of course also be cut down, which will reduce pressure on the environment.

Which Laws Will Regulate Companies?

The EMC will probably develop country by country – so the laws will firstly be national and as more countries join – international agreements will be drafted, which will eventually become law. On a national level – laws will be specifically tailored according to the specific region/environment.

Rewards

  • How about realizing that we don’t have to live up to be a single way driven individual that only seeks to ‘have more’ and ‘feel good’ about it? How about realizing that we can instead focus on developing living principles that  are non existent in our society due to the corporate values that implements consumerist driven images that we have degraded as ‘the reason to live’ when in fact, life is not an experience, but a physical ability to coexist in Equality.

  • Having our corporations ‘at bay’ means that we won’t ever again have our minds being brainwashed by ‘politically correct’ decisions to invade a country, no more wars and means to manipulate other countries in the name of ‘progress,’ since this will be impossible when the profit motive is no longer a benefit for a few.

  • No more racial or religious discrimination since the value of life will overrule any other form of belief in separation of the living principle that Life is in all.

  • Equality between nations leads to peace, having no means to wage war or culturally conquer others in means of self interest will lead to a new Culture of Life that will never allow a single form of ‘power’ in the form of products and consumerism to be the driving force in our lives, but we will will ourselves to Exist within the determination of our physical ability to enjoy, cooperate and participate in an environment that won’t be threatened to be exterminated and decapitated in the name of profit. That means that our well being will be in our own hands.
