438. Louder Than Bombs

How to not give up upon ‘losing the passion to live’

Louder than bombs Psychological Review

I watched a movie called Louder than Bombs (2015) and without getting too much into the plot, the character of the mother/woman that was a war photojournalist was the one that caught my attention because of how she dealt with her personal life and her job, being in the war zone and dealing with the impact that had in her.

The character is complex in terms of how she presents her work to others and how it seems she lived it ‘within’, but there was a point that really ‘struck a chord’ within me considering that she had this very diligent commitment to her work with having to go to all of these war zones to take photographs so that they could eventually be center pieces to stories/journalism about such situations, which I had considered at some point doing as well because of also considering that: this helps to open people’s eyes and change the world.  I didn’t end up doing it, but I am profoundly grateful for all those documentary film makers and photojournalists that enable us to see what we would hardly ever get to see firsthand in this world. At least to me, being informed about ‘what goes on in this world’ has benefitted me in expanding my ‘world view’ from only focusing on my life and personal desires to learning to care about others in this same planet as myself.

So in the movie there was one moment where she’s at the airport with her husband, waiting for her next flight and one of her photos shows up in a New York Times’ article to expose the refugee camps in Afghanistan – or something around that – to which the husband tells her  – paraphrasing -‘Hey, this is a great job!’ and she smiles or maybe sees it as ‘mission accomplished’ or as part of her work and who she is, but on the table across she sees a man that looked sort of the ‘business type’ that is also holding an issue of the NYT and when he gets to the page where her photo and report are, he passes on to the next page without even hesitating to read at least a bit into it – or watch the picture closely if anything – and in that moment that she was overlooking at this situation, one could see her eyes suddenly becoming watery or I could imagine her heart going into a knot so to speak for realizing that maybe a lot more would do this, maybe this is how it is with all of her pictures and this kind of articles, showing or proving that: no one really cares.

This is my entire reading I got from these few seconds that the moment in the movie lasted. Suffice to say that she plunges into a depression, about many things in her life and ends up killing herself.

After watching the movie, I commented to my partner how that moment resonated with me a lot whenever I go into this experience of ‘no one really cares about what we do’ or ‘no one even watches it/reads it, so what’s the point?’ and within that allowing myself to go into this ‘plunging’ point of seeing no point in it. Yet one thing I reminded myself in that moment and the solution I saw was that If she would have done her job as a principle for herself, because it mattered to her, regardless of how many see it or attend her exhibitions, this could have become a point that she gives ‘life’ to, instead of allowing herself to be continually be abased by the situations she encountered or by losing a meaning to it all. When I allow this to take over myself is mostly when being located in the position of the ‘result-demanding’ character so to speak, where I am looking at wanting to have an effect on others, to ‘change the world’ through what one can produce or place out there, while in fact forgetting it is not about ‘others only’ it’s about myself and the decision I’ve made to for example share some audio recordings with a personal perspective I’ve found more supportive when ‘finding my own two feet’ related to the atrocities of ‘world events’ we get to be aware of in the media.

I also saw the potential of myself at some point becoming like that character that plunges so deep into seeing no meaning in anything: her personal life, her work, while witnessing and being sucked into the events she took photographs for, that she ends up killing herself where ‘committing suicide’ is usually seen as a way to ‘end the suffering’ when in fact it is mostly a way to give up from redefining the life that we want to live and instead of seeing ‘no way out’ rather focusing on creating new ways to re-load our lives so to speak and continually be creative to stand in the same principles yet explore new ways in which one can express and live this change or importance that we see in making of this world a better one to the best of our ability, starting with How we live our lives.

Here for those that get to watch or have watched the movie, a practical way in which the photographer could have gotten herself back on track is by stopping her photojournalist trips as she had decided and promised she would, and then focus on getting support to establish better relationships and communication at home, to learn how to deal with her depression. Because, her depressed state eventually affected both of her sons, in turn affecting the kind of decisions that they made in their own lives based on having been affected by seeing their mother in a sad state when she was at home and seeing the problems that the parents had as a couple. Maybe by rekindling the relationship at home, her sons would have had more stable lives, taking the example of not plunging herself into a state of depression or anger or frustration, but rather focusing on getting oneself back on track and so being an example to others around us about it, much could have changed if this was a decision lived by the woman.

One aspect we tend to create is ‘caring too much about others’ and doing justice to others, or wanting to ‘protect’ something or someone out there, yet neglecting our personal lives within this. This is what happened to this character of the photographer in the movie, where she had problems with her husband, she was depressed and not talking about it or seeking solutions, getting to the point of being unfaithful in her marriage ending up just ‘losing it’ and crashing herself in the car. It was funny because in that moment of seeing this while in the movie, my partner timely said ‘remember it’s just a movie, they are just actors’ which was just what I needed to in that moment kind of ‘snap out of it’ and stopping indulging into this personal identification with the whole situation, essentially starting to ‘see myself in her’ and diving into that same ‘plunging’ experience. So definitely next time I’ll be more aware of this ‘getting lost’ into the emotional drive of the story and here to remind myself those words too and to continue watching yet still objectively, using the movie and stories as a point to reflect and introspect about myself  and others in this world as well.

Reflecting on the ‘doing something to depict/portray or reflect state of the world’ – what I’ve found and this we also discussed after the movie is that there is much of an informational saturation these days that surely it is unlikely that one gets the ‘reach’ that one would like currently with common sensical perspectives and essentially non-sensationalist points of view, because that’s what ‘sells’ in this world for now. Very few people have developed a sense of living ‘care’ or ‘consideration’ to be informed about the situations around the world, yet there are some that do, and the more that we continue to participate and contribute to this ‘new culture’ of being informed citizens yet at the same time, learning to take the points back to self as in recognizing and taking our responsibility for the points that we see we can change within ourselves, our minds and in the way that we live, the more we will expand this new awareness or new culture of life that stops feeding the usual ‘conflict-fueled’ mass media.

So this is a practical consideration, a realistic consideration to many of us that may at times hit the ‘black hole’ of seeing ‘no point’ in sharing ourselves or not seeing the ‘desired effect’ of what we do, however if we become that point and reason as to why we do it and remind ourselves of who we decide to be in doing so, we become that 1+ point of change that participates and expresses in our current conflictive culture. Never to underestimate what we do, where we stand or the ‘effect’ one can have in others, but mostly to realize that what truly matters is not the amount of data and information one can imprint on others, but rather sharing how one has changed Within oneself, in our day to day living to align to principles that one wants to see as the new way of living, the new ‘norm’ of how to interact and coexist in this world. Within this I mean that what we do becomes an extension of who we are in it, therefore not falling into the role of the photographer in the movie that upon seeing her photojournalism and work as ‘meaningless’ or not having the desired effect, she took that entirely upon as ‘her definition/ her life’ and instead of stopping doing it and trying out something else, she stopped her profession and shortly after, she stopped her own life with it.

As much as this is a reflection upon a character in a movie, it is also a personal reminder of whenever getting sucked into the ‘black hole’ of ‘what’s the point?’ and seeing ‘no point’ in sharing one’s work or creations, to remind myself to be that one point for myself, to stand As It as a point of principle as a declaration of who I am, regardless of who listens/watches it, because this is a form of contribution of a process of change and new perspectives that I am aware and certain can be supportive for others at any point in their lives, where they may go through the same or similar situations and simply extend the support that I have also benefitted from when learning from others facing this and ‘bigger’ points of seeing no point in this entire existence, yet even today still seeing them standing in their decision to see the point in life and giving themselves a purpose to stand as the solutions in this world.

We can never really be short of ways to overcome the problems, what we can be short of at times is the will to create, the commitment to stand as the potential of who we can live and be in this world. And this is also a personal reminder whenever tending to focus only on the mayhem, the death, the destruction, the wars, the violence, the lies, the deception, the suffering  and all that which we have yet to correct in our world, to not see it as this big black hole that sucks us all into oblivion, but to see it for what it is: a consequence that we have to understand in order to learn how to stand under the problem as a ‘fixed’ point, as part of the solution, from the root and cause of it, instead of allowing ourselves to be influenced by the consequences, the ‘tips of the icebergs’ we get in our daily news, and so decide to take the responsibility to understand how those problems ensued, what is it within ourselves that has contributed to the nature of the problem and rather spend the rest of our lives working with ourselves and assisting others in whichever ability we are able to, continuing sharing supportive expressions that consider the context, the people involved, their lives, the context of the world system and essentially learning to ‘trace back’ the problems out there back to ourselves, our human nature, who we have become within our minds and lives that has manifested as the world without and take responsibility for it. Easily said, but takes a continuous  re-commitment to live this, no matter what, so that we can eventually make of our reflections and practical solutions ‘louder than bombs.’

411. Do Good and Evil Really Exist?

We tend to want to hold on to the idea of ourselves being ‘good people’ or there being really ‘good people’ out there without questioning what the origin or starting point of such goodness exists.  With this it’s not to imply that there’s no ‘good’ at all but certainly it is a cool point to investigate all the aspects that one has defined as ‘good’ within oneself and simply check the starting point for it: am I genuinely being assistive and supportive toward others because I see that it makes sense to support and assist others the way I would want to be assisted by other individuals as well and so make it the principles by which we all coexist in  – OR am I doing it for the sake of how others will see me, how I believe I can be rewarded for ‘being good’ or ‘doing good’ and using it as a form of ‘good credit’ for oneself in relation to others.

First point to realize here is that we can all change the starting point of what we have defined as ‘good’ based on that which is beneficial and supportive to ourselves and one another. Maybe we just haven’t yet considered how certain acts of kindness, generosity or wanting to be a good person/ ‘being a good person’ can in fact be a counter act/ a clean-up/contrition act from past experiences that could have been the exact opposite to everything perceived as good or benevolent, such as having been very selfish, authoritarian, careless toward others and so one then feels like ‘we have to make up for it all’ through becoming the opposite polarity as a ‘good person.’ In this we have the absolute ability to decide we want to change this because we see that doing ‘bad’/harmful and abusive things to oneself and others is not the way to go, and so one makes the decision to change and commits oneself to practically live it – but! If after realizing one is actually using the ‘bad/evil’ as a memory or starting point to ‘do good’ and we only go to the opposite polarity as in now wanting to do good and be good and almost push it so much in an expectation to gain ‘the grace of god’ so to speak as in seeking to feel good/positively within oneself for ‘cleaning one’s acts’ with ‘good/positive deeds’ or for example to be seen with ‘good eyes’ by others/ get the approval from others or be recognized as a form of good-doer or any other ‘high moral standard’ we may have within ourselves – such as the driving force behind altruism and charitable acts – then the starting point is rather misaligned and further destructive than constructive.

Why? Because doing ‘good’ based on the cleaning-up act for the ‘evil/bad’ past is merely believing that the answer is doing the opposite. What I’ve realized in this process is that merely opting for ‘the opposite’ is not a suggested way to go because in this we recreate the pattern of the ‘good’ vs. the ‘bad’ or evil – which is a definition, a charged experience toward something that could be simply supportive/non supportive. What usually happens is that one creates one’s own trap within the good vs. bad morality polarity enslavement which is the foundation of, for example, the church/religious systems that play on in this good vs. evil principle to manipulate people to ‘do good’ based on fearing being punished for ‘all the bad.’  The same is ingrained in a secular person that perceives the law/government as the authority in a society and so, that person will still ‘do good’ based on fearing to be punished/standing in bad credit against law/government/financial systems or any other authority as well as peers in society as well. So here we become subject to our own constructs, to our own punishment-reward mentality to which we give a negative and positive value respectively where we then either feel good or bad about something, instead of rather asking oneself: well, am I being supportive to myself and others? am I considering living principles in my thoughts, words and deeds as a principle of who I decide to be?  OR am I only acting in either a ‘good’ manner to get an energy fix from it, to get acceptance, validation, recognition and better living positions in many occasions where ‘doing good’ is linked to being rewarded for it in an economic manner as well? One can then ponder: is there any genuine ‘good’ then or are we only acting out on either looking for a ‘good feeling’/positive experience within ourselves or escaping from/making up for past ‘bad’/evil deeds that one felt ‘bad’ about and wanting to ‘do good’ now to not FEEL or hide within self all the perceived evil/bad without first understanding it?

Here the first point I suggest considering is that a process of self change involves realizing and understanding that one will not ‘feel good’ as in having to create a positive experience every time you simply decide to correct/align yourself to the best possible supportive and sustainable outcome.  It is to realize that deciding to change oneself, to be self-supportive toward oneself and others is not in itself a ‘good’ deed that stands in contrast to doing ‘bad’ because in that, even by considering the solution to be ‘positive’ we re-create and trap ourselves again in the good vs. bad mentality/mind construct which is how we then believe that if we do ‘good’ = we can FEEL great/good/superior/better etc. and feel like being at the top of the world with all this glory – which is an energetic experience. Here we can consider some physical laws: what goes up must go down and so we perceive that the ‘down’ experience is negative, while it is only getting down from the ride way up high.

To prevent this up and ride experience between the ‘good vs. bad/evil’ and the experiences one gets through them is to then focus on realizing that doing what is best for all is not something that one should create a ‘good experience’ about, or that it should be rewarded, receive recognition or get some sense of validation for now being a ‘good person’ and doing ‘good deeds’ – nope. It is to realize that what one is doing in this decision to change one’s destructive/harmful/abusive acts is simply directing oneself to live in an alignment with how things/life/our minds should have always work: considering what is best for all, assessing one’s participation in thought word and deed in every moment within oneself and toward others/the environment so that we ensure that every single moment we are aligning to these principles and within doing so, we integrate this reference as the new human nature we want to become and see in this world – it implies simply aligning ourselves to how things should have always been which is not less or more than what currently exists, we don’t have coin sluts to gain value for doing good or get some kind of physical body or substance extraction for doing ‘bad’ things either…

Within this then one removes the ‘charges’ to any positive or negative value to the perceived ‘good’ and the perceived ‘bad’ and so be able to understand bad/evil as the reverse of life, as a mistaken road one took that requires to be corrected/realigned so that it can be functional/supportive with what is best for all by walking a process of self-directive correction. This then prevents the whole ‘fallen’ experience, the guilt trip-traps and the whole mentality that one is ‘done’ or ‘never will get it right’ as we all tend to give up so easily in our minds when believing that we are just evil and have no remedy – which is also another self-victimization pattern to not actually take the time, effort and dedication that it takes to change oneself, which is mostly a decision to let go of the energy high linked to doing good and the guilt/bad experience when doing all the perceived ‘bad.’

With this also comes the necessary realization that: we’ve never dedicated our lives to direct this realignment to how we should have always ‘functioned’ in our minds and in our world – if things were just ‘fine’ in this world and anything had really been genuinely ‘good’ or ‘supportive’ we would not be seeking to change ourselves and this world all over, as we would be living such change as a new living principle for ourselves as humanity = this hasn’t happened and that’s why we have to realize that it is a process, it takes active participation and self-awareness in every moment we are alive to be continually living/applying this re-direction within oneself to in every moment assess one’s words, thoughts deeds to create/contribute to the change we see is beneficial for oneself and all parts in an equally supportive manner – that can also be understood as no harm, no abuse toward oneself and others – and instead doing what is constructive, supportive for oneself and others who are also ‘ourselves’ in fact.

Therefore one can also be more aware next time when we perceive that one wants to hold onto this ‘goodness’ within self or the perceived ‘goodness’ in others and Really investigate what such ‘good’ consists of, why we perceive it as ‘good’, what is the starting point of such thing we perceive as good and so consider the following: because our minds and this entire world system was built within the foundation of a non-supportive/abusive and non-equal basis, we cannot genuinely expect a supportive principle to exist as a general ‘trait’ or inherent property/inherent nature of human beings, of who we are as the mind – including the way that we have built this world system based on our own mind-constructs where it is evident it is not benefiting everyone the way it should –which is why I suggest to re-evaluate whenever one perceives someone to be ‘naturally good’ and get to know how such person ‘became’ a good person and what their story is. From that we can also learn why we tend to hold on to ‘the good’ so much and fear the evil/bad.

Having said this, it is more to realize that the construct of morality as the polarity of ‘good vs. evil’ is a definition, a construction we create in order to trap ourselves in the problem without focusing on the practical solutions required to align our thoughts, words and deeds to a supportive outcome. The potential to go ‘either way’ exists within each one of us in every moment that we are living here, which is why I see it as important to share some practical ways to rather use the morality construct as another tool of self-assessment to see ‘who am I’ toward the good vs. evil mentality.

One can then use the words ‘good’ and ‘bad’ in the following constructive manner:

–  If I perceive a ‘good’ aspect within me, something I’ve defined as ‘good’ within myself (or others) then I have to ask myself: what is motivating me to do/think this which I’ve defined as good? What is my starting point? Am I expecting something in return to this? Am I wanting to be seen as a good person by others? What experience as a feeling do I get when I believe myself to be good or am told by others that I am a ‘good person’? And so apply self-forgiveness for all the energy charges around these ‘good deeds/thoughts/experiences’ as all the positively-charged definitions so that what’s left is only the raw-living actions that are genuinely supportive, that are and can become part of one’s new natural/inherent expression of living by principles, by actions, by living words instead of being moved through/by energy all the time where we play the reward/punishment type of assessment or ‘equation’ in our minds based on energetic highs and lows, instead of just seeing the benefit for oneself and all if we think/say/act in a way that is best for all and vice versa if we don’t do/act/think based on what is best for all.

– If I observe some ‘bad’ aspect within me then I have to ask myself: why have I defined this as bad? Who, what and how am I affecting myself and others with these defined bad/evil thoughts, words and deeds? If I realize that I am genuinely harming or abusing myself and others then how can I correct/align this point that I’ve defined as bad? And so use this assessment to rather create a practical plan to correct and align in a directive manner this ‘bad/evil’ aspect within oneself to a supportive and constructive outcome. This is how then making mistakes or creating the perceived ‘fall’ is simply an opportunity to evaluate: ok where did I miss a point of direction, why we did that which we knew was not supportive or where did we miss a point of self-awareness where we acted upon past patterns, upon the ingrained non-supportive thoughts/deeds that lead us to a known path which is that of non-constructive/self-destructive choices and consequential outflows. We all then can constantly learn from our perceived ‘bad/evil’ mind construct while at the same time, applying self-forgiveness for acting out on such thoughts that are detrimental to oneself and others after which one can then make a firm assessment and decisive plan to support oneself to correct/align this point within oneself from here on as a Living Principle.

This is a way I can see one can go ‘shedding’ the moral construct of good vs. bad, to ensure there’s no positive or negative charge to either side but only assess the words said, the actions taken, the consequences that ensue and then see what is required to be changed to align it to living principles and what does one practically require to do to live this plan of corrective action. This is how the tools of writing, applying self-forgiveness and self-corrective application become our constant tools of self-investigation and our do-it-yourself evaluation foundation to get to know ourselves and for example investigate who am I within the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ construct, how does this exist within me and if such words still create an experience either positive or negative within myself.

There’s no point in wanting to hold on to something ‘good’ of which we don’t exactly yet know its origin and starting point of, and mostly I would actually suggest to practically doubt anything that’s apparently ‘good’ or ‘positive’ in nature as then we have to assess what motivates it, what ‘funds’ it ($), what are the interest behind it, is there any past ‘evil’ that’s being used as a starting point for oneself or others to do now ‘good’ as an energetic experience or ‘reward’ process in self-interest? And so we take off the mask of ourselves as our mind – which is in itself not at all ‘good’ or benevolent – and so rather learn how not to react to discovering self-honesty as in seeing what might be in fact a ‘real ugly truth’ of ourselves, which I could visualize like realizing one has a detuned guitar, or having a broken engine: we have to understand how we got them detuned/broken and so place our time, effort and knowledge in application to fix it = we do the same with ourselves and our minds/lives and so stop thinking within the ‘good vs. evil’ frame of mind and just consider practical reality.

399. What is Missing in this World for Real Change?

The Necessity of Living by Principles

Throughout these past 6 and a half years I have embarked myself to understand more about the reality that I live in and that I most certainly was blinded from to be able to understand. Looking back and ‘putting the pieces together’ many of us – if not everyone and some simply don’t like to give ‘much thought’ into it – actually KNOW there is something profoundly wrong or ‘missing’ in our lives and this world. Yes, I also sought answers in some greater purpose, even in some divine and rather metaphysical concepts that I would simply hold on to because it remained as a comfortable lie that I ‘made sense of’ because it was comfortable and really not that challenging either, it was all about waiting and hoping in fact. But, the reality is that this was all the knowledge trap covered at all ‘fronts’ in the reality we live in to not EVER look in the most obvious place, the one that has always been here and that we have blatantly missed while ‘seeking truths’ or ‘seeking ourselves’ out there somewhere else: ourselves.

We are in fact living in a crucial time in our lives where the truth is being revealed behind the Veils to genuinely see the principle that has ruled us all thus far: Evil as the reverse of LIFE. I understand this might be rather an uncomfortable truth but for me it was actually the most supporting thing I could ever do, to be willing to understand that our actual nature as human beings is not that of benevolence, dignity, integrity, solidarity, love or else – and we have the blatant proof of that which is our world which we tend to reduce to a power-hunger game missing out the clue of where it all started in the first place, which is within ourselves, our very nature from which the rest of the world-system as we know it and the way we have enslaved each other to be masters and slaves has in fact emerged from: our own necessity to be controlled and to have such controllers, just because we have abdicated our power all along.

Throughout this process I have worked with – and continue to work on – being able to uncover/dis-cover my true potential that I had sedated and suppressed within personalities, ideas, beliefs of myself of which now I can look back and understand why so many of us still fear to ‘come to the front’ and speak up. Well, for reference of that you can read this blog site you’re on at the moment, I can only briefly say that there’s a massive de-brainwashing to be done in order for us to genuinely start recognizing the Power we all have and yes, ‘power’ as in our ABILITY and CAPACITY to direct ourselves to precisely ‘be the change that we want to see in the world’ which is not a positive-thinking mentality, this IS the Actual Process that it will take for us to genuinely change the foundation of the current ‘world-system’ that we see so ‘far’ from ourselves, not realizing that its very foundation exists/relies and solely exists in the intricacy of every single Though, Emotion and Feeling participation wherein we Allow ourselves to be Governed by the MIND, which is a preprogrammed Consciousness system in which we have only existed as fuzzy-logic survival-mode organic robots from which we have always only learned how to equate our OWN benefit and survival – but never ever learned how to genuinely start consider HOW we affect others with our decisions, our actions, our thoughts.

We have beseeched for ‘clues’ for ‘saviors,’ for a ‘good president’ to come and be our MESSiah, well, yes we have gotten ourselves only further down the rabbit hole because we haven’t yet understood one very basic principle: this world wasn’t founded upon the mercy of any god, it is actually ruled by our collective irresponsible ways that have created the reverse of life and as such it is to understand that: Nothing will change unless, I Change, unless We All make a stand and Change within ourselves and so the change in the without will be an outflow of this starting point which is Self-Change.

This is how we bring it all Back to Self and see, ok so what have we been Missing all along? What have we been Dissing all along? Living Principles – look at our culture! It’s plagued with vices, violence, revering death and destruction, consumerism, laziness, apathy, insanity, greed, power, sexual depravity, psychological abuse and the initiation of children to this great Consumerist CULTure wherein we have done everything but learning and fomenting ways of how to Honor ourselves as Living Beings –  that is Nowhere to be found!  not within parental education, in schools, in media, in arts, in politics, in religion, nowhere! Everywhere we have tainted ourselves with the same ILLusions of feelings as benevolence, feeling ‘good’ for doing some charities or believing that to Love Humanity means to ‘wish well’ for everyone, without even realizing why we have had the need to create such words as Love that imply only a fluttering experience in your stomach as a sign that Energy is all that we have in fact become within ourselves and toward another – but not life.

Everywhere I have researched and sought for answers, for a genuine structure of change I only have found further polarized solutions like thinking positively all day and deny ‘all the bad’ in your mind, seeking revenge to ‘the powers that be,’ changing personalities, doing some charity work here and there, be all nice and smiley and hope for better times to come or accept reality ‘as is’…. well, seriously, where are we pretending to get ourselves with that? Nowhere, of course as it’s all based on characters, ideas, self-presentations of ‘who we are’ toward OTHERS and so once again, missing out Who? Ourselves.

We require to have the actual guts and courage to develop some self-honesty along with having a directive structure and understanding of how it is that through one individual making a decision to stand AS and be Consistent and Congruent on the decision to Live by Principles, we become an Actual Revolution in this world, one that has Never existed before because we have always sought ‘solutions’ in the pre-fabricated Hegelian mentality of Thesis-Antithesis and creating the marvelous polarized and prefabricated upgrade of Synthesis. This has been our problem, still thinking within the same MIND-Construct and framework with which we have Created the problems in the same place.

Time to get OUT of the BOX as that’s where the illusion exists, that’s where we are governed by ideas, beliefs, fears, feelings and emotions, history, world-system constructs that we have obediently followed to the T out of fear.

Thinking OUT of the Box implies Living by Principles, doing exactly what you won’t see advertised on the TV, what Isn’t a ‘fashionable trend’ in the media and entertainment,, what would make you feel deeply uncomfortable in the first phases of implementing this as it IS in fact about getting out of our comfort zone, out of the comfort of fears, of resistance to change, or fearing to actually have to step Out of the Box  where we have become obedient slaves and have come to adore as our prison, our own mind – Nothing and no one else but ourselves will cure our Stockholm Syndrome but ourselves.

So, this is why I have decided to walk the process of Living by Principles, where I have come to realize that I must ‘search no further’ for answers, but that the answer exists and resides within me, within the volition to actually become the point of change I sought outside of myself.

Hereby I commit myself to live by the following principles that represent me and many more around the world that have taken this oath to themselves in Equality, as the necessity of recognizing our actual power and so living it for the benefit of everyone in this world and existence, in Equality AS Life.

Join us if you agree it’s about time we Think Outside The Box

The Desteni of Living – My Declaration of Principle

1.       Realizing and living my utmost potential

2.       Living by the principle of what is best for all – guiding me in thought, word and deed to always in all ways direct problems to the best possible outcome for all

3.       Living by the principle of self honesty – to ensure I am pure in thought, word and deed: that my within and without is equal and one. Who I am within is who I am without and vice-versa

4.       Self Purification through Writing, Self Forgiveness and Self Application – the action of realizing I am responsible for my own thoughts, words and deeds, to forgive myself for transgressions and change myself to ensure I Take Responsibility for who, what and how I am and through this know that I can trust myself to always be honest with me and so others

5.       Living the principle of Self Responsibility – realizing only I am responsible for what I accept and allow inside of me, my relationships and my outside world and so with this responsibility: only I have the power and ability to change that which I see is compromising who I am, what I live and how this affects others

6.       Realizing that who I am in thought, word and deed affects not only myself – but others as well and so with Self Responsibility in thought, word and deed – I take responsibility for myself and so my relationships to be Self Aware in every moment  and live in such a way that is best for me and so others as well

7.       Living the Principle of Self Awareness – to be aware, to see, to recognize my own thoughts and Mind, to be Self Honest to the extent where I can take responsibility for when I see my thoughts / Mind is not what is best for me / others and commit to immediately take responsibility and change for myself and so for others

8.       With taking responsibility for myself, becoming aware of myself – take responsibility and become aware of others in my life, to assist and support them as I am assisting and supporting myself – to give as I would like to receive and do the extra bit every day to see where I can contribute to other’s lives and so my own

9.       Living the principle of self trust – as I commit myself to remain constant in my living of self honesty, self responsibility and self awareness, I stand as an unbending trust that I always in all ways know who I am no matter what I face and that in this I know, as proven in the constancy of my living that I will always honor and stand by what is best for all and so best for me

10.    Making Love Visible – through me not accepting/allowing anything less than my utmost potential, I support those in my life to reach their utmost potential, to love them as I have shown love to myself by gifting to me my utmost potential, the best life/living experience and show others as I have shown myself what it means to LIVE

11.    No one can save you, save yourself – the realization that the tools and principles of Desteni is the guide, but I must walk the path myself. We are here to assist and support each other in this process from Consciousness to Awareness/LIFE and what it means to live – but the process itself, where you are alone with yourself in your own Mind: is walked alone

12.    Not waiting for anything or anyone to take responsibility for me and this world – but that I realize I have created who and how I am in this moment, therefore I have the responsibility to change who and how I am and so the realization that we as a collective created how and what this world is today and so it is the responsibility of the collective to change how and what this world is today

13.    Honoring the life in each person, animal – everything from the great to the small of Earth, that we expand our awareness and responsibility to creating the best possible life for everyone and everything and so ourselves

14.    Relationships as Agreements: individuals coming together using agreements as a platform to one-on-one expand, grow and develop as individuals in life and living to support/assist each other unconditionally to reach their utmost potential where the agreement is a coming together of individuals understanding what it means to stand as equals and to stand as one

15.    Sex as Self Expression – where sex is an united expression between individuals in honor, respect, consideration and regard of each other as equals, two physical bodies uniting in equality and oneness – a merging of two equals as one physically.

16.    Realizing that by the virtue of me being in this world – my responsibility does not only extend to my own Mind / my own Life, but to the minds and lives of everything and everyone of this earth and so my commitment is to extend this awareness to all of humanity to work together and live together to make this world heaven on earth for ourselves and the generations to come

17.    I must in my thoughts, words and deeds – but most importantly in my Living Actions, become a Living Example for others in my world that is noticeable and visible when it comes to the potential of a person to change themselves and so change their world. So that more people can realize how we can change this world, by standing united in our self change within the principle of what is best for all to bring heaven to earth

18.    I am the change I want to see in me and my world – to bring heaven to earth is to bring into being, into living the LIVING PROOF of a PRACTICAL HEAVEN that can be seen and heard in our actions and words. We are the Living Heaven that must come into creation in this Living World.

19.    Through purifying my thoughts, words and deeds – my inner becomes my outer, so I bring into creation me as heaven into earth, realizing it is not enough to ‘see the change / be the change’ – for change to become REAL it must be a constant, consistent living of me through the words I speak and the actions I live visible and noticeable to all in every moment of breath

20.    Realizing that my physical body is my temple – my physical body is the living flesh through which and in which I will bring into being and create / manifest heaven on earth as me in my thoughts, words and deeds and so I honor, respect and regard – nurture and support my physical body as I would nurture and support me as equals: my body is me

21.    We are the change in ourselves and this world we have been waiting for: and so I commit to dedicate myself and my life for each one as all to realize this, as nothing will change if we don’t change in all that we are, within and without

22.    The realization that for me to be able to change myself in thought, word and deed to the most effective living being that I can be and become – I first have to ‘know thyself’ and so commit myself to investigate, introspect and understand how I became who I am today, to prepare the road before me into self creation of a responsible, aware, self honest and trustworthy person for myself and so for all

23.    The realization that for me to be able to contribute to change in this world – I have to get to ‘know thyself’ as this world and so commit myself to research, investigate and introspect the inner and outer workings of this world and align the systems of today to present and give the best possible life for all on Earth

397. Come and Stop Worrying about Money & Children with us

Commentary on the Documentary ‘Come and Worry With Us’ featuring the band ‘Thee Silver Mt. Zion’

Many times I used to say that ‘Music had saved my life,’ and I never questioned that much about the actual lives that musicians have. I probably was ‘happy’ to imagine that they made a good amount of money to be living well after having so many fans and so many shows but today I got to realize that that’s not the case and in a way it does give me yet another reason to implement a new way of living where no one should ever have to suffer, be existing in constant worry, fear and anxiety that comes from living in plain survival-mode when trying to ‘make it’ in this world in an honest manner, which is impossible in a system that is forged with the idea of success as the ultimate goal and neglecting how it currently is – most of the times – achieved only through the effective abuse and control imposed upon others, which means having to cheat, lie, deceive, be dishonest and selfish to be able to make it ‘that far’ without questioning why it is that not everyone can achieve such ‘high standards’ in the society? Why is there no real equal opportunity? why is this ‘successful living’ rather sold to us as this magnanimous lifestyle that is actually unsustainable if we all had the same ability to live in such a lavish modality – this means: it’s not meant to be part of what real life is meant to be in fact.

The documentary Come Worry With Us is an example of how one of my favorite bands actually live like in terms of ‘lifestyle’ and financial woes with the amount of money they earn, which is certainly a lot less than what I would have expected which my assumption of them being a ‘famous band’ therefore not ever having to worry about paying their bills – and here this should apply to Everyone – but this is specifically to debunk the ideas we also create around ‘the rich and the famous’ where not all ‘famous’ people really make ‘a lot of money’ as one could imagine.

Specifically here Godspeed You! Black Emperor and its offshoot Thee Silver Mount Zion are bands that I could have identified as the perfect soundtrack for everything that I could only probably only paint and try to ‘picture’ in frames: a desolate decadent world that is going down the drain, seeing nothing else but death and destruction and the perfect soundtrack for ‘the end of times,’ as well as being what can be defined as a ‘political band’ when it comes to denouncing warfare and the general deception in the political realm at the moment.  But something changed in the life of the common member of both bands Efrim Menuck: he’s got a child now and so he realized that he had to ‘stop his own cynicism’ about life/the world and himself as now there is a person he’s brought into this world that should grow up to live in a better world than the one he is currently living in. I fully agree with this, and even if I don’t have children, every time I would see pregnant women or know of children being born I would create this inner fear almost sadness for them coming to this world that we are abusing and depleting faster than it could ever ‘replenish’ itself, while doing nothing to stop the ongoing destructive trend.

How many times do we say: ‘we require creating a better future for our kids’? It is saddening to see every single day news and articles of the kind of atrocities that are created toward children just because parents can’t afford taking good care of them – from dumping them on the garbage, abandoning them, giving them to adoption or having to make them work too and support with paying the basic needs at home. If there’s something I could worry about this life is precisely whether the little ones will have clean water to drink, clean air to breathe, whether they will be able to run around the streets and riding bikes and going out to playgrounds… or if they are going to be genuinely supported to their utmost potential at schools, whether their parents will be stable enough to raise them – huge point of concern – whether they are going to be having healthier ways of entertaining themselves, healthier eating habits – which are taught at home/ and through culture – whether they can in fact stop copying the fears, the mentality of the parents, whether they can in any way escape the generational sins that we’ve created in absolute selfishness because we believed that ‘it wasn’t going to be us facing the consequences,’ well, here we are, look around you and within you.

I would certainly not want anyone to suffer in this world, yet it is all I could always notice around me, or maybe it’s because it is existent as me and in everyone else: abuse, ignorance to the reality of how we create this world based on our absence of care, of presence to direct ourselves in our lives and relate to each other in a supportive manner.

In my case, all I could ever paint was suffering and I didn’t even know why because I had a good life compared to many that really have no support in this world. I do remember a phase in my life when I was around 9-10 years old where my father had a big problem at work, someone bought a lot of merchandise from him and ran away with it using a bad check – and we were almost broke and hearing about the fact that our house, that patrimony that my father was so proud about as ‘our property’ could be lost – the sheer thought of that frightened me a lot at night, the worry, sadness and frustration from seeing my father so depressed, so down, so worried and so angry as that was the only way he could exert his inner frustration about the legal situation and never ever getting that money back. This affected us all at home and I endured what it was to conform with having the basics and learned how to not to ask for more than what I truly required.

I remember at times thinking that if I didn’t exist any longer they could save the money from my food, my healthcare, my school which was a great effort since it was a good private school, I knew they were doing the effort to secure my future, to give me the best – and I know that every single parent wants the best for their children – but most nowadays cannot afford it at all, no matter how self-willed they have: there is simply no structural support to make those at the bottom of the pyramid scheme to rise. This is structural violence and children are meant to somehow accept that they are born into poverty, that mom and dad have to work 12 hours a day considering the commuting times and so children are raised by daycare employees, by internet and television, by mass-norms at school that are designed to also make them obedient and complacent workers and get to be just like mom and dad: workaholics by necessity, not by choice – or else, there is no guaranteed survival – this is the current violence we are inherently accepting in our everyday living, threatening each other’s life – we have to also recognize we’ve done this to ourselves by leaving the system in the hands of a few.

Nowadays I see the direct consequences where I live of how poverty affects families in a very pervasive manner. To me this place is ‘temporary,’ but for many it is the place and environment they are born into, it is the people they will marry and have their children with and also die in until the last days knowing to do nothing else but to work, drink every weekend, have ‘parties’ and pretend that life is fine while going back every Monday to earn the bread with the sweat of their brow the rest of the week, hoping for something or someone like a president to finally change their lives.

The frustration that parents create at work which is based on the threat of losing their job/not making enough money becomes the constant experience that parents then in turn become toward their children, toward their partners and so toward the world: a survivalist mentality that cannot be stable, here, present, enjoying life because of always being tensed, worried and anxious about getting the next paycheck to pay all the bills.

Jessica and Efrim discussing finances

Come Worry With Us (2013)

We are all currently required to break our illusions behind the usual question of ‘who would you like to be when you grow up?’ and then growing up and realizing that was just a dream, a fantasy, an ideal promoted to us to keep us completely separated from acknowledging the reality: this current world-system is designed to keep dreams on heavy rotation, to keep fueling the hope, the illusions, the wishing and desiring for the most hedonist lifestyle possible, a promised reality that never seems to just manifest into reality and it won’t for sure – nor do I personally consider it should ever, unless we actually work on creating such stability for all and make it sustainable for every other living being in this planet: environment, animals, humans, everyone.

Efrim explains in the documentary how he is part of the last generation that was promised a great future and from there on, we all got the opposite. It’s true, the first year in literature school we got told we were not there to ‘be writers’ and be creative, but to learn the hard-knocks of the science of analyzing literature and how we would barely make a buck with that – in art school we got told the most debasing facts about the poverty-lifestyle one usually goes through when trying to ‘make a living as an artist’ grounding us on how we could not just expect to just ‘be famous’ and earn millions like Hirst overnight. It might seem like a cruel thing to do crushing young adults’ dreams, however it is also the stark nature of the reality we have created for each other.

From there I started questioning a lot about myself, my decision to be an artist – would I make it? What would I have to do to be as ‘big’ as x artist that I admired at the time? And I bet this goes on in the mind of every other person that is taught to aim at the highest peak in a world where the peak is already occupied and not available for everyone else.

Does it make sense to live this way? To know we have all of this great potential as human beings and the way we could actually change the entire nature of ourselves and our relationships with one another if we were able to provide us the guaranteed right to live in dignity, to have money to live well if you’d like to dedicate yourself to a non-lucrative profession or arts which is also not a secured ‘job position’ but is dependent on several subjectivities like being liked, being ‘good’ at the eyes of others, being able to relate well to people to make business; getting to be known and published if you are a musician or a writer, or being part of a gallery and not even that guarantees good wages any longer.

There is also the point of having children and how that becomes a new primary responsibility for adults where one has to choose between being a parent or being a professional, especially if one is a woman. As an artist, for example, there’s not been such great possibilities to have a breathable life in a world where no more records are being sold, where art is sold only to a few elites and that is a minority of course, where movies and music are being downloaded for free, where people cannot afford to go watch a play, concert or sometimes even go to the movies – instead, all that is promoted is more greed and illusions of power in national TV/ media at home which is still the one point that seems to define what people conceive ‘life’ to be as this idea of ‘fame and fortune’, hence the belief that every person in showbiz should do as well as people on TV – but they don’t, at least not the ones that try and make honest business.

Some of the artists I enjoy and admire in a way have been able to ‘stay true’ to themselves in a world-system where arts are also another industry and the same abusive policies apply as everywhere else. In this case, music is something that inspired me to begin questioning the system. I began painting while listening to Radiohead’s OK Computer on repeat mode and all their discography became a way to also understand the underlying suffering that I could perceive in everything and everyone but somehow wasn’t that evident to me until 11 years ago when I first began painting. Now it’s very clear to me how this change has to be implemented and I have a clarity to it, to the point where I’ve stopped painting the death and destruction on this world and instead started to investigate, educate myself and begin actively working to promote and establish solutions that not only will benefit artists of course, but that will be a living guarantee for every person that is currently unable to fend for themselves and as such have are unable to develop themselves to become the person they know they all can be. We cannot also continue having honest and principled individuals to ‘adjust’ and ‘align’ to the current skewed mentality of a dog-eat-dog world where worry, fear, stress and paranoia have become everyone’s daily chronic sickness, this is the abuse we are dictating upon each other and it makes no sense at all.

This is not the world I want to live in, this is not The Good Life that our parents were once able to have – and some of you younger than me reading this not that for sure – but we have to question why every year that goes by things get worse, wages don’t go up while inflation keeps going up and the majority of the wealth is stacked in the hands of the minority: this is a suicidal machine we are operating here, and we have to stop it before we all sink together in it.

I want the children of this world to be able to have parents that can be satisfied with what they do with their lives, that can have sufficient time at home or simply available to be with them without the stress, without the fears, without the depression, without the constant every day nagging thought of what if there is no money tomorrow that I can get today to keep feeding my family? This is the most stressful situation anyone can face: being broke, being homeless, being with exorbitant debts that are usually now even transferred from parents onto children to ensure that one can ‘own’ something in this world, yet this world as the Earth itself didn’t come with such instructions of ‘how to use it’: we created them but so we also live the problem, so we have to understand it and be able to create and propose solutions, which is what we should all focus on if we really want to keep having our joys in life, such as music for example in my case.

9. Seykingumu

So, the least I can do to honor myself and those human beings that also see the necessity for change, that collaborate with creating awareness in their own ways such as with art and music and genuinely consider that we can all work together and make things work for everyone, is to dedicate myself and my life to promote the consideration and necessity that we have toward each other, the good life that I would like to give to those that have nurtured me either physically or as a living being in my ability to be inspired and influenced by people that were able to tell me through their words, their musical expression about everything that was wrong in this world, so that I could grow up to take the staff and be that person that they can also get inspiration from: becoming an individual that can promote and present solutions, because we’re all just too fed up to hear about the same problems and complains instead of realizing that through understanding the problem, we can and become aware of how we can make things work for everyone.

And for artists who I see are quite a lot within the realm of social-change and activism, thank you for your inspiration as well because sometimes one can get ‘lost’ in a sea of carelessness and hopelessness about being able to genuinely do any meaningful change in this world, but through our very own words, through the way we live and create, how we interact with others we can become the point of change that many others can then refer to as the proof of how we can direct our lives to a best for all outcome, which also determines how we live and interact with one another.

This principle of giving to others as I would like to receive begins within us, so let’s give the best we would want for ourselves to each other and through doing that, learning how to honor and truly appreciate our lives, instead of living as enemies in a chronic state of war.

Time to ‘be the change we want to see in this world’ for sure, but this will also only be fully possible when people are no longer strapped to their working chairs and fearing not having money the next day, therefore support the Living Income Guaranteed, to provide a guaranteed access to living needs when having no means to get an income, get higher wages in your current job/occupation and never again be ashamed of having to take this support as it is and will be our sheer right to life, to stop the paranoia, the fear and the self-abuse that comes when living in survival mode – we can do much better than this.

We are yet to discover who we all can be and become once that we step outside of the current divide and conquered set-up world-system we have (negligibly) created. It’s about time we join our creative efforts upon that which will ensure each other’s ability to create without worrying about money again, which tampers our creative potential.

Happiness does not exist yet, we have to construct it.

Living Principles

Suggested read for an in-depth review of the documentary:

391. Noah’s Revelations

I went to watch Noah the other day mostly because I had read some reviews from angry Christians about it and so I was curious to watch it for the sake of understanding what the fuss was about.  I usually like Aronofsky’s work and this wasn’t the exception.

Noah

What I liked the most is the ability to place into question the general belief-system surrounding the benevolent god that Christianity in this case is meant to be founded upon; sometimes it seems that all the actual killings, sacrifices and atrocities that God commands to people throughout the bible have gone unnoticed just because of it being the sacred book that defines our image and likeness, an image and likeness that as human beings we’ve tried to hard to avoid and prevent looking at, our own ‘spell to ward off our darkness’ which in terms of religions, any fault to god is a punishment acquired without ever questioning God and its commands themselves.

So, before discovering Desteni I could not make sense of how this God figure operates or how people would generally perceive it, since it was supposed that god is meant to be loving, caring, merciful being…. however we only have to look at our creation, our image and likeness we have become wherein our own creations speak for themselves in terms of ‘who we are’ and we are annihilating life in the name of beliefs, ideas, experiences, delusions of progress wherein our real god is money itself – and the bible is the code for this reality, how to submit to the idea that one can only get access to life if one sweats the brow all day to earn it… figure it out how we are still living in a system that is based on a biblical scheme, and somehow we haven’t yet questioned that either.

The reason why I find it so relevant to talk about the movie is because throughout the story, one of the pivotal points demonstrated is  that all human beings have this inherent evil as the image and likeness of the creator – and this is by far the most necessary yet obviously shocking acknowledgement for the light-hearted since it is only through the realization that if we are the image and likeness of our creator, then our creator wasn’t such ideal, merciful and benevolent being that this god/creator was taught to be to be for all religious people, including myself wherein I early on also wanted so bad to believe on something, until I stepped into the realization of the fallacy this was early on in my teens. To me it was kind of obvious that there was something inherently wrong in this world with me having to believe in a god that only cared about a ‘few’ to live very well and leave the rest to suffer with only being able to resort to ‘praying’ to make things better in this world, which is an equivalent of sitting, doing nothing, waiting and feeling sorry for myself and every person that suffers in this world. I consider that the ever-gnawing question of ‘why do we have to suffer/ why is there so much suffering in this world?’ that drove me to get to answers might still be a question that many prefer to ward off to not see and realize the inevitable, the actuality of who we are and our real nature that we had attempted to vehemently cover up with lots of ‘love’ and ‘light’ and words that we attach with ‘good feelings,’ trying to always see the ‘bright side’ without first acknowledging the dark side, the real core of our being.

8. Fin de la Ilusión

It is essential for us to realize this ‘evil’ within each one of us as that’s the first point to step outside of the bubbly cloud of being ‘the perfect godly creation’ and instead realize that if we are created at this god’s image and likeness, then we sure are no perfect loving peaceful doves, consequently nor was ‘him’ either, and this movie is able to place in full bloom this aspect of our human nature which is lived through by Noah where he has to then decide upon following the ‘word of god’ or act in the best interest of all. Suddenly this ‘god’ that never talks back becomes a great diatribe in Noah’s mind, a struggle in itself when he sees himself having to choose between ‘Him’ and the love/consideration he has for his own family.

One of the huge ‘weights’ that were lifted off of my back was to stop believing in a god, to be afraid of a god, to believe I had to please a god or else I’d be damned somehow for not completing my ‘chosen path’ that I believed existed for me to complete in this Earth. I too once believed this god was real and that I had to seek such ‘godliness’ that exists as part of religious theory books that I saw nowhere being applied in practical, physical reality – but rather the total opposite is what I witness from some of the heads of religious sects where I studied in school. So, as the song goes, I once was lost and blind but not I see and so throughout walking this process within Desteni, I was able to understand the design of religion, the design of god as the symbols to avoid and excuse our own irresponsibility, our own abdication to be self directive in our lives, our own substitutes for ‘love’ as an energetic experience that we become addicted to and believe that that is all that we have to ‘aim’ for in this world, while having to struggle at all times for survival. This is the foundation of the Catholic religion I am familiar with.

I can now say for sure that the outrage that some Christians have created around the movie is simply based on the shock-factor that they are exposed to when considering it as ‘anti-biblical’ and a rather a so-called ‘satanic version of Noah’s story’ when in fact it is to realize the nature of who we are and have become in fact, and we are certainly not entirely different from all that mass of people that got wiped off of the Earth with the great deluge. We’re hitting again that time in our existence wherein each tree that is cut, each crop that is genetically manipulated, each bee that dies,  each air molecule that is made unbreathable adds up to our very near demise if we don’t actually stop, or come to be stopped by consequence, and so that’s why I also consider it’s a relevant moment to watch it and hopefully more people are able to see beyond the ‘fable’ that it’s meant to be and rather turn it into a very real and applicable self-reflection process to see whether we have in any way changed as human beings, what has been missed? why are we still the same greedy evil beings that were wiped out during Noah’s times? Why haven’t we been able to change or have we? Because we create our reality as the image and likeness of how each one of us exists as the mind. This is why no attempt to ‘change the world’ is successful as we haven’t yet ‘tackled’ the actual problem which is not God missing all the prayers, but ourselves not doing the actual work required to sort out ourselves and our creation.

This is It

To all the people that have watched Noah and are ready to make peace with the fact that we weren’t created by a white merciful loving dove of a god that cares about his creation, then I suggest researching Desteni as this is the necessary step to understand why everything looks like hell on Earth at the moment, and how no matter which phase of history we look at, we as human beings haven’t evolved an iota and only now we have the potential to veer the course toward which we are currently heading at which is starkly said: self destruction. This begin within being able to walk through the god construct, the religious constructs, the spirituality constructs with which we have fueled our minds of nice experiences, hopes, prayers and good feelings in an attempt to only wait that such ‘nice energies’ have any effect to solve the very real and physical problems in this world.

The problem is: we have missed our responsibility for our creation, we have missed the point all along: we all have been here from the beginning and as such there is no god as such but only ourselves as creators and creations that have abdicated any responsibility to who we are as Life, and instead replaced our realizations  with fears, with excuses, with justifications, with ‘greater powers’ and ‘superior abilities’- never realizing how in every bit we defined ourselves in separation from God we separated ourselves from our real potential, our real responsibility and our real directive principle to become the individuals that we already know would make of this world-system a genuine living place in this world.

The mind is currently our god, our own darkness we tend to veil with positivity, gods, faiths, spiritualties and hope, the actual evil, the point of separation that we are here to stand up and take responsibility for in order to align ourselves to a living principle that we can all be certain will change the nature of who we have been up to now and as such, change the nature of our relationships and our current systems with which we’ve governed ourselves.

If a person goes into denial after watching Noah, they are already making a decision to keep believing in an illusion because they are not willing to face the ‘dark side’ which is not really ‘dark’ in itself, it’s only been kept aside to not face the reality of who we are and have become, which is the first step to then decide to begin conducting oneself to live and apply the tools and principles to become a living human being that is self-responsible, that learns how to care for others as we would like to be care after ourselves, that learns how to cultivate real love as work made visible, the work that benefits us as human beings to step outside of our massive black hole of which we are at the cliff of if we don’t stop and change our minds to recognize and honor the life that lives and exists within each one of us.

Happy Easter

“There is no truth. There are only relationships. You either are part of what is best for all in all ways or you are in self interest and allows harm to exist in the name of your personal happiness. This is the Alpha and the Omega of this world. The ultimate truth. The ultimate choice. and You decide who you are and that determines the outcome of each individual. The universe is a group and if you are not able to be part of the group, you can work out for yourself what will be the consequence”

385. The Most Important Job in the World: Parenting

A Review & Commentary on the Documentary ‘The Naked Room’/El Cuarto Desnudo (México, 2013)

Throughout this process I’ve realized that the most important job that exists is that of being a parent. As I go understanding the fabric of our society, I can see directly how the lack of parenting skills or even the inability to know what these are or should be reflects back to our society, shaping each one of us into the individuals that at the same time, create the nature of the ‘world-system’ as is, because when we talk about ‘the world’ it’s not really the Earth, the living beings other than humans that are the problem – the whole and sole problem is who we have become as human beings and how we have shaped, modified and distorted reality through and by our mind as a consequence of lacking any efficient education and parental guidance while we are brought up in this world, which in turn affects every other part of our reality as well.

So in essence, we’ve lacked the skills to support ourselves as the units of our society to grow strong, healthy, stable and with clear directives in our lives and as a result, this society is the mirror of the lack and/or misguidance of parenting skills.

El cuarto desnudo/The naked room from AMBULANTE on Vimeo.

“The naked room” shows a whole world without leaving a single space: the examination room in a children’s hospital in Mexico City. Listening to the children, their parents and the doctors during consultations allows us to have a more profound and complex view of our social reality and of human nature.

I watched the documentary ‘The Naked Room/ El Cuarto Desnudo’ some weeks ago, here’s part of a synopsis I found about it:

The Naked Room exposes the complex and hard situations that are the consequence of something as simple as a kid wishing for a more loving brother. Also, the behavior of people with a mental disorder, a condition that always affects the loved ones (sometimes even physically). Ibáñez has not created a documentary to be enjoyed by everybody per se, I mean, we’re dealing with a brutal theme in a very direct way, with no pauses; it’s a constant display of human sadness and mental problems.

It can be easily described as a depressing film, after all it’s a natural view to the life of several persons, and some of their closest relatives, whose hopelessness has lead (some of them) to go as far as attempting to take their own lives. In a way, The Naked Room is here to explain the “why” behind suicide or self-harming, specifically when the problem happens to a kid or a teenager. What’s great about Ibáñez’s film is the fact that she is not trying to explain anything by interviewing doctors and relatives or using information from other sources. The doc is simply crafted: it’s entirely based on footage obtained from a series of meetings between psychiatrics and patients.

Ibáñez knew that showing those conversations was enough for a thought-provoking piece. All she had to do was place the camera at the right spot and then working inside the editing room. And the camerawork is really interesting and precise; firstly, it only follows the patients, hence some scenes are just fascinating: observing the facial expressions of the children while their respective relative is talking with the doctor brings a unique feeling, as the conversations deal with nothing childish, indeed.

For about half an hour we don’t see the same patient more than once, so The Naked Room engages you. The audience will want to know what’s behind, for instance, a problematic kid whose father has threatened to abandon him in the streets. There are many patients involved, so when each one of them appears again, you might be a bit confused, not remembering who is who; that could have been a flaw related to the structure, but the confusion is always temporal.

And, ultimately, the diversity only helps the documentary to be thematically richer. It can be seen as an exploration of teenagers, with such themes exposed as insecurity and social rejection, but that’s just one of its layers. The Naked Room is, simply, one of the strongest Mexican films of the year (my personal favorite from the Morelia documentary selection), even when it’s simply crafted, like I said, and very short (less than 70 minutes).”

The constant identification of parental patterns being transmitted onto children, the lack of creating supportive familial relationships and living environment, the lack of money to have proper nutrition, healthcare, education themselves, the fact that some parents didn’t want their children in the first place, the fact that they resort to hitting them for not complying to do what they asked them to do, the physical and verbal abuse between parents, the divorces and separations that affect a child’s ability to learn and interact with others properly, the lack of sexual orientation support, the threats used as a way to establish discipline that are depicted as part of the reasons why the kids in this documentary develop mental instability, can all be traced back to the parents and the unfortunate lack of skills, information and education on how to deal with their own lives, their marriage/relationships and in turn how to be a mother or a father.

In turn, parents have only learned to react to seeing the problem that their children develop as something born out of the blue, which is the position of becoming a victim to their children’s mental instability in the form of worry and preoccupation due to not knowing ‘what is going on with their children?’ without realizing that their role is inevitably implied within what their children are experiencing as well. However, can we talk about it solely being ‘their fault’?

Understanding Who We Are as The Mind

Parents were educated in turn by their own parents and consequently the same has happened to those parents as well, which means that the parent-child relationship is the essential relationship that has shaped (ruined) the way that we develop ourselves as human beings. You might react and say ‘not me’ and I could as well, but the fact is that even if one can consider oneself having ‘good parents’ or ‘supportive parents’ the moment that there’s no principle of support to understand the mind, the feelings, the emotions, the ‘who am I’ as the mind and assist with the integration of physical living words that we can live as a decision, a self-directive process that one directs oneself to express as a Living Principle, one is already missing out the most important aspects of our relationship to ourselves, others and in turn the ‘who we are’ and will become as we come of age in this world – instead, we’ve been brought up with mechanisms that use fear, control, violence, abuse, threats in order to establish some sense of discipline and direction, as well as happiness, rewards, ‘love’ and the illusion thereof as ways to create the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ definitions that we’ve limited ourselves by, going all the time attempting to be ‘happy’ and/or dreaming of reaching an eternal happiness without even understanding how that is also a mindjob essentially. We’ve only learned to ‘cope with reality’ by reacting to the environment, to another’s words, to take things personal, to seek revenge, to be spiteful and that is of course already a massive fault in parental skills.

Not to blame ‘them’ though…

The reality is that we’ve never ever had such skills, because we had not ever before understood who we are as the mind, how it is that we are separated from our physical body through and by the mind which is a Mind Consciousness System, a design, a programmed patterned system that generates thoughts, feelings, emotions and through this our behavior, personality, fears, reactions, beliefs, etc. that we have adopted and believed is ‘who we are.’ In this documentary we can see this reality as spectators of a glimpse of how far one can experience one’s emotions and feelings to the extent of wanting to die just because there is no proper medical support, assessment or understanding of what the mind is, what our emotions is, how the patterns that we’ve acquired from parents are imbued from the moment of conception, and at birth we are directly influenced by every single word that parents speak, every single move, every single experience that parents have within themselves while being with the child – and this I am almost certain only an excruciating minority of parents have taken into consideration.

it is so damn clear in this documentary how the fact that we have taken our minds personally and others’ reactions personally, while being unable to understand Why such patterns of aggression, violence, harm, hatred exist and are coming from ‘those’ that should have ‘cared’/‘educated us’ to be able to live in this world the best way possible, which is what creates the traumatic experiences within children  that evolve to become ‘mental illnesses’ because of our inability as parents to stand as living principles for them, to become all of us in society a living example of how to live, interact and direct oneself in this world. This has been our ‘missing link’ in the relationship between parents and children, but also in our society as a whole.

The-Naked-Room

The First Seven Years of Your Life

At Desteni it’s been explained how the time-frame of development from ages 0-7 is crucial in our development because that’s where the ‘programming’ process of the mind takes place, activating all the pre-existent patterns coming from parents, integrating new ones from the child’s interaction with their immediate environment – which are most of the times, parents or any other ‘parental figure’ –

“The inheritance and transference of the survival skills from both your parents takes place when the entire mind consciousness system develops within you within the mother’s womb together with your physical development. The copying and duplication of the survival skills from both your parents takes place through your observations, interactions and participations with your parents’ as the parent/child relationship develops during your childhood years (from two to three years up to the age of thirteen years).”

Veno – Structural Resonance – Part 2 – Phase 5

This means that the direct effect of our words, thoughts, behavior and emotional or feeling participation is imprinted onto children from such early stage of their lives, with them being like a virgin cd that one is about to literally ‘burn’ with information that they will simply then replay, adjust and ‘upgrade’ throughout their entire lives.  That is the magnitude and importance of the responsibility we have toward every individual that is born into this world: the world we have for them at their arrival will become the program, the structure, the patterns they’ll accept as ‘how things are’ with the possibility of only changing them once that they’ve walked their own lives, their consequences and decide for themselves to change what they have learned up to that point, which is the process of Self-Honesty and Self Responsibility that we are walking here at Desteni.

So, while watching the documentary El Cuarto Desnudo I could understand for example what has been explained in the  Spite series of interviews at Eqafe in relation to Self-Harm. Some of the kids in the documentary attempting to commit suicide, cut/punch/harm  as a response to the disbelief they had of having their parents attacking them, insulting them, not giving them all the necessary attention, hitting them, abusing them in various ways as well as managing them with ‘fear’ which in result, in a helpless attitude of ‘I just don’t know what to do with her/him anymore, doctor!’ which to a young child it doesn’t make sense that your parent, your ‘guide’ is becoming your own worst enemy or an inept person to take proper care of you and as such, even if they say ‘they care for you’ or they ‘love you’ they are still not being supportive at all in the situation… doesn’t make sense isn’t it?

And no, it won’t make sense. And this is the point we’ve missed all along and that can actually support, assist parental relationships to entirely change because what hasn’t been understood is how the Mind operates, how the mechanisms of creation of energy as emotions, thoughts, feelings is what has become the directive principle, the sole ‘director’ of ourselves to the extent that we comply to such mind/thoughts/feelings/emotions absolutely ignoring our physical bodies, the living flesh that we are and that we should never ever harm in order to ‘relieve’ some sort of emotional or feeling experience which comes from a constant struggle and inner conflict to ‘cope’ with what’s going on up there in the mind, because the children look perfectly ‘healthy’ at a physical level, but in the mind they are certainly completely possessed and this is a clear testimony for us to see what the mind does to the physical body and why it is so important to take responsibility for our minds, our bodies and completely take both into consideration before continuing inflicting any harm or abuse upon oneself, only acting upon what we ‘feel’ or experience as thoughts, emotions in the mind.

In the documentary, almost every child would cut/harm themselves, and I’m talking about Children here –  which becomes a form of self-spite: anger toward oneself so that it becomes a way to spite the parents, which doesn’t make sense to spite oneself in an attempt to get another’s attention or ‘get back at’ someone when one is being ‘attacked’ by another, as that will then in turn become the attack and abuse onto oneself, the very same attack that one can be complaining about is coming from parents.  However because children are not taught how to deal with the emotions they have at a mind level, the only way to ‘cope’ with this inner turmoil which becomes self-hate is to resort to self-destruction. Do ‘they’ really want to do it? No, it’s who they are as the mind that want to harm themselves, just because the amount of energy continued to be thought of and used up by the individual is too extensive for the child to stop and get back to physical reality to understand how one is abusing one’s own body and in essence doing onto themselves what they were complaining that others were doing onto them at first – and this is how the ‘chain’ of self-abuse is continued.

Learning from the Parents

With friction and conflict stemming from their family/environment situation, children learn to ‘cope’ with the constant conflictive and problematic situations with their own emotions generated as a reaction to things they see in their environment, things they are unfortunately done onto, and not having any way to stand up or stop participating in these automated reactions in the mind. And these can obviously be of a wide variety of factors, such as lack of money/education that turns into a poor household where parents have to work to make a living for the entire day – being left with other family members that might turn abusive, that might not properly care after them – sometimes the parents/relatives resorting to alcohol/drugs to cope with stress, to mitigate hunger, to mitigate family abuse, being depressed, being in the verge of financial bankruptcy…. there’s also marriage disruption, physical and verbal abuse between parents, abuse from parents to child which turns into children then hitting the parents/spiting the parents, desperation from parents for not knowing what to do with them and so children see themselves as being ‘a problem’ a ‘drag’ to the parents to the extent that they reason it’s best to die/commit suicide than continue living – and this may come from parents expressing them that ‘they don’t know what to do with them any longer’ or how ‘they wished they had never been born’  which once again, to a child and even if you the reader  never got told this, placing ourselves in the shoes of children being told this, it is mostly obvious that there will be a reaction of feeling worthless, not desired, not loved, inferior and this remains as permanent rejection throughout their lives unless they encounter support while growing up to not take such words personally, but understand how they come from parental distress, desperation, not knowing ‘what to do’ with their own lives and in turn not knowing what to do with their children.

There might emerge a desire to blame parents for that – but blame once again would lead us to miss out the point here. Blaming, holding grudge, being constantly mad, angry, frustrated at parents or even hating them is only the outflow of not getting a supportive, comforting and adequate parental support for the parents themselves to begin with while they were in the position of being the children. And one would say, yes, it makes sense to be angry for not getting that – but, this is where I implore you to consider the ‘greater context’ which is how I assisted myself to – within and after the documentary ended – be able to clearly see where the surges of blame or anger toward parents were coming from and immediately understand how it is necessary to see the ‘greater context’ to take all points into consideration to understand such parental and children relationships throughout our entire history.

The key here is understanding a very, very important point: All can be Self-Forgiven and Must be Self-Forgiven in order to stop holding on to the grudges created from children to parents and vice-versa if we truly want to change the world.

Human Chains (pic)

No ‘parent’ knows How to be a Parent.

No person is born knowing How to be a parent, a self supportive and adequate one, how to become an example for your child to ‘look up to’ because No Human Being has EVER been such Living Example for oneself or for others – yet. Sure there have been great personalities in the world that were ‘great men and women,’ but even that one can notice that people in politics or social change in the world such as Mandela for example, when his daughters were interviewed they were proud of him for the principles he stood for, but as a parent they had no further comment other than really not knowing ‘him’ as such, because he had not really been around with them….. point to ponder.

So, the problem is in fact not that we haven’t learned ‘how to be a parent’ but how to be a Living Human Being. We have only been mind-robots driven by thoughts, feelings, emotions, not knowing ‘how’ to cope with them, how to direct them because we entirely accepted ‘who we are’ as our mind and so, what happens is that the moment that we Identify ourselves with the mind as ‘Who we are’ entirely without any possibility of change, that’s where we dissociate ourselves from our ability to be self-directive which means, realizing that everything that we’ve become is the byproduct of generation after generation of human beings that have not known how to direct/deal with one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions – in essence with one’s mind – but only learned from certain religious and moral dogmas and ‘authorities’ that became only ways to control people through fear, or control through the illusion of ‘love’ which is another point I have had previously discussed.

What does being a Living Human Being mean?

The self that we all have and can become the moment that we start living and applying the realization that one has to honor, support, care, develop and nurture oneself to become an example of what it is to act, do and speak what is best for oneself and everyone else as equals. Becoming the Living Word, the Living Example for oneself and others to follow as the norm, the way, the law of our being in which we can trust ourselves and each other to realize that no matter what: I honor, consider, support and care for myself , I stand as my own support and as such, stand as support for and toward everything/everyone else as myself, as life, as equals. This is the standard, this is how we can genuinely ‘change the world.’

So because we have failed to live this way with and for ourselves, the consequence is and has been that all our relationships have failed to be fruitful and bloom into a world that we can all be genuinely ‘happy’ to live in. With understanding this premise of the ‘legacy’ we have in terms of the ‘human nature’ as the mind, the generation after generation passing of ‘the sins of the fathers’ it then becomes much easier to understand why a human being that has taken the role of being a parent has failed to become a living example for his/her children, because the consideration of being a Living Human Being has never existed – yet we do have all the potential of each one of us becoming such living example of being the human beings that we all know we can be and become – and this is where our responsibility resides: to ensure that we can be the example of how the so-called ‘human nature’ is able to be self-forgiven, stopped, self corrected and changed.

This understanding that I just shared here in written words is what I used to then see, realize and understand and self forgive the surges of any emotions that could have been accumulated while watching the documentary, and through this understanding rather seeing this documentary not only as presentation of the problems we have within children at a mental level – instead, it also becomes a  motivation to see once again for myself that there is just SO much that is required to get done in relation to education in this world, so much to be understood about the mind, who we are as the mind and how we can in fact support each other to assist those children to change and solve their experiences… but most importantly the Parents of those and any other children to prevent ‘The Naked Rooms’ around the world where children attempt to get support from psychiatrists, while not even being aware of the root and cause of the problem: ourselves as individuals, as human beings that have never lived to the best of our potential – but have only ‘coped’ with reality through and as a mind system that generates constant friction and conflict as the experience of ‘living.’ And to grasp this there’s quite a lot of understanding and information to self-educate oneself about this, which I will provide at the end of this blog.

Self Forgiving the Sins of the Parents

Once one understands how ‘who we are’ is the reflection of what we’ve always been since the beginning of ourselves as humanity, we can truly see that there is no other way out of our hatred, our anger, our despair, our grudges, our laments, our grief toward parents, children, relatives or authority figures other than applying the principle of Self Forgiveness. Without Self-Forgiveness it would be very difficult to come to a resolution about any form of abuse that one has experienced through one’s life, whether from parents or anyone else. So I suggest to dissolve the word tag of ‘parent’ for a moment and just see ourselves as human beings, not being born knowing ‘how to live’ and ‘how to be self-directive in our mind’  and begin applying Self-Forgiveness for allowing ourselves to be driven by thoughts, emotions, feelings, reactions wherein as a child, one has no further idea as to what is being experienced within self – all the fear, the worry, the stress, the anger, the rage, the hate that is formed at home toward parents, siblings, teachers, schoolmates, all of it existing within self without proper direction other than medicines and ‘cures’ that don’t take into consideration the source and core of the problem: the who we are and have accepted and allowed ourselves to be and become as the mind.

I’ve noticed that one of the most difficult things to do for children/people that have been abused by others – whether they are parents, siblings, relatives, schoolmates, etc. – is the ability to self-forgive, to absolutely take into consideration and understand why the other individual abuses, take into consideration their entire life, their entire upbringing, their social and economic background, their habits/addictions, their ‘modus vivendi’ and experiences and how they too also didn’t know at the same time HOW to deal with their own minds, and how it is the same for all of us – not a single one left without a mark – of passing this unresolved understanding of who we are as human beings from generation after generation up to the point where our ‘fuckups’ are escalating to the extent that one can only look at 3 year olds – or even earlier than that now –to already see the patterns they mirror of the parents and the generations that have gone before us.

One could say: well how come they learn to manipulate, to spite, to be envious and selfish, to be depressive, to be sensitive, to be angry, to hit others to get what they want, to treat others as superior or inferior, to like and dislike, to be a stubborn… and yes, a child is the entire reflection of the parents and of humanity in its entirety for that matter that only develops the rest of the pre-installed programming through the interactions with parents and the environment. And because it is only now that we are understanding these mechanisms that exist within the mind in the physical and the vital importance that this mind and physical relationship has in our upbringing, it means that we still have a lot to do in this world in order to make each one of us aware of this process, how to direct it, how to support ourselves so that we can start establishing solutions and a new educational process where we can change the world by changing humanity, which means: changing the way that we educate ourselves as human beings, which implies at the same time that the relationship between parents and children is the one we have to focus on, as it will be the guideline and blueprint for all other relationships developed by the child throughout their/our entire lives.

This also thus ties in with the previous blog entry wherein I explained to the people that first didn’t want to hear how it is about time that we STOP the patterns that we’ve continued from generation after generation in relation to the abuse of ‘educating children’ by hitting them, or teaching them to ‘fight/attack back’ upon abuse or become spiteful and vengeful… all of this MUST GO and Must be stopped by ourselves as the parents, the family members, the teachers, the siblings, the people around kids to become the examples of the way we can Always direct ourselves in a way that is best for everyone: self supportive, considerate, being able to communicate effectively, being the living words of the principles we want our children to embody as well and as such, children will learn by default  – from their very first interactions in a world where we all act and live by principle of what is best for all and as such, by default, learn how to live by principles too.

It is only an excuse and negligence to say that the human can’t change, that we can only resort to psychologists or psychiatrists – this is unacceptable. What we require is to apply a New understanding and vision of who we are as human beings in order to support every single being that comes into this world to adopt the new living ways that we can begin living within ourselves individually and in the ‘without’ as the way the world system operates. For that, investigate the Living Income Guaranteed to provide support for parents to have sufficient time to stay at home implementing the new education available for parents and for any other individual –regardless of being a parent or not – at the DIP Lite course for free.

It certainly won’t be the same to bring a child to a self-supportive world where you have a guaranteed income/have your human rights being genuinely granted and assured with money provided to you from birth than a baby that is born in a condition of poverty in a third world country where not even a solid foundation of family or parents exist, because everyone is on a survival modality. It doesn’t make sense anymore to continue allowing our children to grow up in front of the TV and computer screens or taken care by ‘third parties,’ and the reason why this is so is because everyone has to ‘get a job to live’ and there’s no support given to parents to get time to educate their children. This should make it clear how it is all of us that are ‘shooting our leg’ by not providing to each other the right to life, so it’s about time we understand that the new way of Living is to Support Ourselves and Support All Life Equally to become our fullest potential.

356. Activism and Equal Money

The best way to promote change in our society is to become it at an individual level by taking responsibility for the system that we all have co-created, which is the same system we will all actively participate to correct and align to establish permanent and sustainable solutions that are best for all in every sphere of or lives. We are conducting this through education and equal participation to eventually  generate the necessary political and financial reforms to implement this in our reality – this is called practivism and this is what Equal Money is all about.

Continuing:

Problems – Part 2

Continuing from the Previous entry 355. Activism and Mind Control  – Please read through it in order to get the greater picture of what will be discussed here

  • New ways of Activism in our 21st Century are the  Hacktivists and techno savvy anonymous individuals that were also united by a profound sense of Vengeance to use the information networks of the world and create boycotts without realizing that the very power and machines used for their statements, are the same products and energy produced in the entire world system that runs with money. This means that if one was in fact interested in generating solutions, one would not only merely obstruct general operations from taking place in an ordinary manner in cyberspace. It’s rather easy to create disturbances, but the system won’t change without any actual political engagement. Creating systems for e-democracy would be actually relevant to provide means to generate the necessary electoral systems of the future. Halting traffic in certain websites only exacerbates the problems, there are no solutions possible in that.

  • We also have the food aid, environmental and animal rights movements which are mostly corporate/elite funded groups in order to maintain the more common forms of activism that have been going on for several decades now, busy with solutions for one single part of the problem, forgetting about the greater picture wherein money and the way it currently exists is in fact the problem. We can learn about new ways to live  in accordance to polluting the least, being busy with animal rights, vegetarianism, buying organic products, trying to boycott mass fishing and saving animals without realizing how the very money used to do all of this is stemming from the very same system and money used to buy food and be paid for jobs to ‘make a living.’ A massive point that is forgotten is how there are millions of people that depend on, for example, the meat industry. Just like with attempts and proposals to go ‘moneyless,’ removing animal consumption from the equation won’t make the world a better place, we will certainly have to look at solutions in the future for that – but at the moment the primary problem is the money system that has become an unsustainable industry in itself.  It is thus to be aware that the lives of others also depend from such ‘hideous activities’ such as killing dolphins for meat,  being pushed to do overfishing due to the over demand that humans are creating in a world where consumption is far from being in accordance to actual physical requirements, in moderation according to natural cycles of the species consumed as food – this is just one example of many wherein as long as money is the force of coercion to dictate how things operate in this world, any effort to change how things operate through resistance and boycotts only deals with the tip of the iceberg.

  • We also got the ‘Spiritual Activism’ which is probably not usually considered a ‘movement’ or ‘activism’ per se, which is part of the necessary masking to not be considered as another containment group.  This is  also the least threatening one in terms of ‘social awareness’ and potential world-change movements, since it is mostly composed by people practicing beliefs related to positivity, light and love, esoteric knowledge, Buddhism, New Age prognosis, meditation, ‘spiritual awakenings’ with the use of psychedelic drugs, entheogenic religions, shamanism, artistic movements promoting visions of an all enlightened future world while doing nothing to actually create it other than imagining it or feeling a good experience of people gathering ‘vibrations’ to change. This group corresponds to the evolution of religious groups and hippie movements from the 60’s that have adopted new means to propose peace and love while surrendering to the reality ‘as is’ without any proposals or intentions to change it other than through positive thinking and prayer. There are many books, documentaries and spiritual leaders directing these movements wherein it is expected that world change will come from the individual transformation of consciousness/ spiritual awakening which means that anything having to do with understanding how the system operates, the necessary changes required to create a better world system for everyone are simply absolutely ignored or ‘let to be’ while focusing on the individual cultivation of feel good experiences that are another self-induced form of mind control that obviously becomes a market in itself.

  • It is important to become aware of these groups that are not openly ‘activists’ but function with a similar agenda to what the intent of this blog is presenting: media endorsed and internet viral documentaries and movements that are intended to generate solutions outside of any form of political and legal means to implement them.It is just another way to entertain the masses to not challenge, not question and not even attempt to create an informed group of people with the deliberate purpose to create a political party, because the leaders of these movements claim that going in the route of politics is old fashioned/ of the past and futile – and so, the followers comply to it, not questioning these statements any further because the machinery is seen as ‘too big’ to disentangle, which is why they opt to ‘get off the gird’ and become ‘self sufficient’ with small communities that can apparently live ‘off the system,’ while ignoring that there are no such thing as ‘out of the system’ as well as there being no such thing as ‘living without money,’ because money has become the very symbol with which we obtain life and even if one claim to live without money, as long as the rest of the world is still dependent on money, one will still be part of such system,  because we are not separate individuals from the whole. We are one and the same organism responsible and participant of every single thing that exists in this world, and that implies that there is no actual way to ‘escape the system’ at all, not even at death. This is how we have stated  many times before:  Activism is Futile

  • Back to the thesis of this blog: is it that the current ‘Activism’ that exists is a well engineered and target-driven mass-control movements divided in various factions that appeal to different types of people in order to lead these emergent groups of revolutionary ideas for change to remain in an absolute self-experience of ‘doing something’ and ‘being moving forward’ to some type of change that will somehow emerge with either  technological advancements or doing some supportive environmental solutions here and there, while creating plans to live ‘off the grid,’ but really: are these the type of movements that will ensure that every single human being is living in the best living condition, being established in a legitimate new economic and political model that supports the lives of those in absolute and immediate need, as well as ensuring those ‘at the top’ are not fed any further than they have been already? No, they are not and this is why Activism Is a Problem in itself that is keeping millions of people that can be well educated about ‘the truth of the system,’ but are using this ‘truth’ to generate groups of people far from being organized and emerging as a new political movement that will surely beat the 1% if mathematics were applied in common sense to establish a new legal political system based on the longed equality proposed by the ‘99%’ that every movement is talking about –  but in reality there’s still much to be seen in case they are actual sources for permanent and viable solutions.

  • Any activism that is not promoting changing the individual nature of the human, changing and reforming the monetary, political and social structures, that is not questioning every single bit of information, history and self-belief that we have of ourselves is then only part of the necessary ‘entertainment’ to keep people away from forming actual political parties that could definitely threaten ‘the 1%’ that is believed to be so absolutely mighty to be perpetuated by a minority apparently voting to keep things as they are. We are aware that there is a lot more to go to open their eyes and realize the great fallacy that exists in all our ‘world order.’ Education is not just composed of sharing information on how the greatest forms of control exist, but it is also to provide the means and ways to create viable, sustainable, and reliable solutions that are individually applicable and are as easy as living our lives with a set of new principles  and directive decisions to no longer be brainwashed or emotionally motivated to ‘ask for change’ or ‘create solutions’ that fundamentally oppose the current system by non-legal and non-political means.

So, if Activism is Not the Solution – then what is?

Solution

  • Equal Money is not only an online community and movement that promotes solutions to the world in order to establish a new global system of Equality. We are individuals that study the ways in which the mind operates and work with ourselves, individually, to understand and trace the patterns in which we have contributed to the creation and maintenance of the current system based on our individual participation in it. We also educate ourselves about the history and functionality of the world system, however we go one step further to understand the history of existence, the blueprint of this world system as its original encompassing enslavement system that was invisible to our human eyes and has now been explained and exposed through the Desteni Material in order to understand the nature of the solutions that must be directed in order to create an actual sustainable change in our reality.

  • We understand that knowledge and information, money and education have been tools for our own enslavement, however it is also the structure upon which our entire lives depend upon. This is how we propose the study and understanding of the world system in order to be able to restructure it, redefine it instead of eradicating it. This entails that it is not about blaming the individuals that played their role but instead becoming the very people that can stand within the system to generate the necessary changes in politics, businesses and corporations, education, etc.  It is about recognizing everyone’s responsibility for the creation of this system wherein we have all occupied positions according to a ‘greater plan’ of absolute enslavement and polarization of society in means of creating and perpetuating structures of power and control  to the benefit of a minority over the majority of the population throughout our cyclical history.

  • We also understand that the systems are not the problems themselves only, but the mind in which we are creating and recreating these patterns that sustain them, that substantiate them, which means that no activism is in fact supporting actual changes because no activism is taking on human nature as its main point of focus to begin establishing solutions, which is what we have committed ourselves to in the first place at the Equal Money System organization. This is lived and applied through an individual process of Self Correction through Self Forgiveness which entails writing, developing Common Sense, developing Self-Honesty, Self Integrity, Self Responsibility, Self Will and a selfless determination to establish ourselves as the very pillars that demonstrate the ability to change our nature, what we have accepted and allowed, take responsibility for ourselves and this world system and create solutions with and from what is already here as our creation. We call this Practivism, which is practically applying the understanding of the world system in our own lives to stop our own accepted and allowed Mind Control and direct ourselves individually to start thinking in terms of collective well being, what is best for all instead of individual benefits and preferences that always end up creating rifts and problems in activist movements when a greater principle is not in fact the guiding and binding force between individuals.

  • Only in Equality can we thrive and that is how in Equal Money there are no leaders and no master plans other than the establishment of a principle based on a decision in common sense realization that the more we wait to move ourselves to create solutions, the more suffering accumulates in this world. We are thus an organization, an online community that gathers within the premise of Self Education to become better human beings, to learn how to Deconstruct the Root of all Evil within ourselves and as such learn how to become and embody the solution in this world.

  • We provide assistance and support through our Forums listed below  to every person that decides to walk the path of integrity to become the solution to this world. All the written documents, interviews and recorded material that we publish is part of the educational resources wherein through our own process of self investigation, we go establishing directives that every other individual can read and learn how it is that it’s possible to establish common sense living behavior with the understanding that the change in this world must emerge with and within the individual first. The more people understand the necessity of Equal Money and its establishment as the best solution to the problems we have created in this world, the easier and faster a transition to an Equality system will become. Yet, the problem within this all is that we are testing every single day the high level of mind control that exists in individuals, which prevents the ability to realize how it is that any form of apparent revolution, activism, protest, cyber attacks, boycotts are merely highly emotional-driven organizations with no concrete plans of action to generate sustainable, reliable and legitimate solutions – hence the present pair of blogs were created with the sheer intention to inform, to open a perspective that might not be widely seen and realized at first sight, which entails that just as we were following our happiness in the middle of the 20th century and up to now without a question, the same is going on with activism movements that propose great changes without practically considering self change at an individual level first. We reiterate that the problem is the human being, not the environment which is only the reflection of our own mind and nature.

The way we live activism is through sharing our own writings that can be found in the following links:

These are the places where everyone can also join in to start walking the individual process of self-change  – we provide further educational courses and material in the following links:

Reward

  • Any form of activism will eventually cease to exist in Equal Money Capitalism and Equal Money system since its reason for existing will no longer be required in a world where everything functions according to the best way that we can possibly live in. Instead Activism will become an integral participatory behavior in society where we ensure that all systems and organizations are running according to principles and guarding the best interest of all at all times.

  • No more confrontations between people and authorities, no more chaos in cities with people blocking streets, no more people living in parks in means of protest, no more hunger strikes, no more threats in cyberspace, no more collision of interests and segregation in society based on ‘how’ to solve problems because we have come to understand that when it comes to establishing a system that is functional for everyone in this world, we have to base our solutions on mathematical facts and equations wherein every single aspect of our existence is taken care of and managed in ways in which we can all testify and agree are the best possible ones. Thus, we will all exist as active individuals that are constantly aware of the optimal functioning of our world systems, as well as continuing to educate ourselves to better our ability to coexist in the best manner possible.

This is where we recognize that our lives are in our hands and it all depends on ourselves and our ability to stand as self responsible beings to never again be coerced to remain idle and not change the world, because once we understand our limitations we will all ensure it never happens again.

346. Manumission with Equal Money

Our Manumission is the  self-directive process to liberate everyone and establish a new living system based on and sustained in Equality through our individual process of Self Correction and Self Responsibility.  This is the process of Educating ourselves about all the mechanisms in which we turned our lives  into survival money-making odysseys instead of actual processes of self development, expression and enjoyment of our lives. It is about time we Understand the Accepted and Allowed Self-Enslavement  in order to make an informed decision to Take Responsibility for our world and each other and pave the way to live in Actual Freedom in Equality.

Continuing:

Problem

  •   Enslavement in our society stems from the power structures that we have made legit every time that we adopt the belief of something or someone having more or less power than another and as such, having the ‘power’ to decide how a nation is governed, how a community is directed, how much money everyone gets, what kind of information you are given, what type of Education and for what purposes you have access to, what are your values, moral codes, religious affiliations, ways of entertainment, fears, limitations, etc. – everything is the result of a cultural configuration that runs with the same Game Theory mechanisms that a corporation is run by, and what is a corporation’s main purpose? To create Profit – this is the axis of evil upon which our entire world goes around, and our very own thinking and behavior has been the battery to keep this entire system this way, which means our very own minds have been wrought, shaped and formed according to these ‘principles’ based on survival-mode fears.

  • The fact is that as much as human behavior is the product of a society, we are also aware of the preprogrammed design of the mind as a system wherein the purpose of our creation was to generate energy in all its various forms as experiences that we could buy and consume or create through relationships formed in power-play mode driven by the desire to win at all cost. This inherent condition is what we can call Human Nature – it is not the Nature of the physical body that runs according to a Physical Common Sense principle of Life as a social organism of symbiotic relationships, it is the nature of a Mind Consciousness System that existed as an energy-resourcing construct existent within each and every single human being on earth as a mechanism of control and predetermination to ensure we would never question our ‘real purpose’ of being here in this world and what our lives were in fact existent for. This is relevant to understand from the study of the Desteni Material in order to place all the pieces of our human history together and realize that the enslavement that has always existed on Earth is not only existent as our cultural configuration or power structures, but it is also inherently existent within human beings as the nature of the mind that we have accepted and allowed ourselves to be and become. The moment we think, we are not only reflecting the nature of what is around us,we are in fact expressing the nature that we have accepted and allowed ourselves to be and become: we actively participate in the entire mind mechanism in which we begun defining ourselves according to that which we think. What does this have to do with how the system works? Everything.

  • We are all aware of who the ‘dominant forces’ are in our social context: everyone that has money. It is true, there are some that have a lot more money than the average, but the moment we are the ones able to give money for someone to do the job for us and within this abdicating our responsibility to participate in an equal manner, we are accepting and allowing this mechanism of coercion to exist –  this is how our current money system works. We all trapped each other within this same enslavement system and the process of delivering ourselves from this evil as the reverse of live is a process of understanding our individual responsibility to the creation and perpetuation of the system ‘as is,’ because we have expressed our consent to ’how the system works’ by never having attempted to actually change the way it works, and even if we could spot the problem, we did not do anything about it.

  • Currently corporations are the main players in our reality – they exist in the same structure of our governments/ social orders in a hierarchical manner wherein people are paid to produce that which later will be sold for the purpose of ‘covering our needs’ yes, but mostly generating profit from it and in that, our entire mechanism to sustain our lives is precisely linked to a mechanism of death wherein our life force is monetized as ‘labor’ that becomes a permanent thing to do throughout our entire lives if we want to survive. In the meantime, the people that were ‘clever enough’ to accumulate all capital goods and property to hire people to do the work, are the ones that will only continue growing their wealth by maintaining the workers in an enslaved position to ensure that the expected ‘growth,’ ‘economic progress’ and ‘economic efficiency’ are guarded and assured in a direct proportional manner to the level of need that exists to have money/ have means to survive. This can only exist in a system where people are not supported from birth to death to live, and even more so it is the other way around: people currently are bound to work in order to live, because life is only possible with money and if money is run in a profit-making scheme it is obvious that some at the bottom will not get enough to make it to the top, because those at the top are the ones that set the rules of the game without any opportunity for the people as the majority to decide how a corporation is run.

  • Many people upon acknowledging the problem that money has become as the tool for this enslavement, at the same time disregard the fact that it can simply cease to exist as it does with the ‘almighty powers’ as a coercive belief system of values and instead, transformed to become a tool that support our very own liberation-this is what Equal Money means:  money becomes an accounting tool for trading and stand as a ‘granting rights’ document – however as we must know it is not only ‘money’ that is the problem, but our own wants, needs and desires that have become ‘who we are’ as part of our motivations in life because it is all that we have ever known thus far.

  • These desires, wants and needs have been shaped according to this necessary ‘masking’ and ‘adaptation’ of a system of fear and control to turn it into a feel good motivated system with positive attitudes and meanings to processes of abuse i.e., to be successful you have to learn how to ‘play the name of the game’ in the system, which means being deliberately willing to abuse in order to win.  This is where we suggest watching the documentary The Century of the Self to understand how in the past century, the political system adopted marketing techniques to sell concepts to people for purposes of control such as Democracy, Freedom and its derivatives Free Choice and Free Will. By doing a fundamental change of meaning in these words, Democracy became a synonym of Inverted Totalitarianism wherein an apparent form of elections takes place where one can choose between two or more options of officials that never implement what they promise – we should all know better by now, but because we apparently don’t, we’ve fallen every time into the acceptance of the system ‘as is’ because ‘that’s how it’s always been’ and ‘nothing’s going to change this.’ Hence we blindly accept a political system where we even know that ‘our representatives’ are not the real ones ‘in power’ although they have the legal means to execute other’s orders.

“The consciousness as it now exist as humanity is the accumulated human natures of all that has ever been as beingness and we have our being as what we have accepted and allowed and unless this is faced and stopped and understood and purified, it will be the end of all. These human natures were the result of each singularly defining themselves lifetime after lifetime in self interest seeking self gratification while competing to win at all cost — and the cost that must be paid to restore this is all cost –everything you have. “–Bernard Poolman

Therefore, how to deliver ourselves from our bondage?

Solution

  • The process of Manumission begins the moment that we First Inform ourselves and begin asking the right questions upon observing and introspecting about our reality. It is only through this opening initiated by self’s empirical and self directed investigation about the world system that we begin seeing everything that is wrong and not working ‘as it should’ or as we thought it worked in our society; we begin to understand the mechanisms that make it functional, the actual motivation of our lives in this system beyond what we blindly consume and satisfy our needs with.

  • The first point is to understand how we have created our own bondage to our political and economic orders of absolute enslavement and polarization and as such, how to create solutions where we can ensure to one another that we don’t ever again recreate the same system of power, abuse and greed at an individual level, even if existing in an Equality based system – this is thus a profound process of individual introspection, self honesty and self investigation to see where we stand as individuals within this world, what we participate in and how we have generated the current problems and consequence by our own participation in it. This is the first step as  a solution, because if this process is done in a genuine manner, one will inevitably continue unfolding the necessary steps to create solutions once that the truth is evident and not feared or shut down from one’s awareness, but is accepted and acknowledged as a point of inevitable self responsibility.

  • An example is how Corporations could be in fact regulated to be directed in a way wherein maximizing profits ceases to exist as its sole purpose and instead becomes what it always should have been: a goods production organization in the best interest of all, providing quality, durable and environmental friendly products that are sold for the benefit of the final user. This is possible if all profit is shared equally through the policy of Equal Profit Share, which is one of the various proposals within the Equal Money Capitalism System, where money ceases to be the ‘motive’ but instead becomes only a way to ensure that everybody wins in the production and commercialization processes.

  • Beginning to question the reasons for suffering, scarcity and abuse in this world is the first step. The next one is to educate ourselves through all the vast amount of documentaries, books, websites that speak about these problems so that it becomes part of our culture to watch materials that explain ourselves in an audiovisual manner to what extent we have abdicated our self responsibility and become subject to our own ‘system configuration’ without a question, and even if the questions emerged within ourselves, we were  immediately taught to ‘stop asking’ because consequences ensued when daring to question the laws and order in which we have lived thus far. These are some basic documentaries I suggest watching as well as suggesting to visit the Documentaries and Films section at the Equal Money Forum  for regular updates and further discussions.

Educate Yourself:

To be continued in part 2

Rewards

  • The Education about how we brought our world to shambles through abdicating our own responsibility allows us to identify where and how we missed our ability to respond to live in a common sensical manner in our word and as such, how to generate the solutions utilizing the principle of like cures like wherein we identify the problem and create the solution utilizing the current organizational mechanisms and structures that we already have. This implies that we will become aware of what Not to do in our process of creating a New Living System on Earth that functions according to the Principles of What is Best for All.

  • The recognition of our individual participation leads us to become humble in nature, to stop blaming others for what we believe ‘they’ have done unto us and instead, begin to see how it is that another’s wealth could only be possible through our acceptance and allowance for such legal mechanisms and political orders to exist the way they do until today. This support ourselves to realize that it is in fact a collective responsibility wherein everyone was too blind to only seek for personal self interest instead of actually implementing education on how the system works so that we can all act and make informed decisions on what we participate and what we don’t and how to solve problems once that the accepted and allowed behavior has created consequences. This process entails walking through consequence to ensure we never repeat it again, and this is in fact what is of most value because this will be a realization upon fats, upon actual consequences where by being equally affected by it, we will all be pushed to form part of the solutions to make our lives practically able to exist again.

  • Education about our system will thus become an integral part of our schooling systems or educational processes beginning at home, this won’t be any longer ‘specialized knowledge’ but instead a history book of a bleak past that we all must ensure we tell as a cautionary tale to never again recreate the same abuse, slavery and power structures of the past. This is the time when we learn from our mistakes, learn how to walk through a process of Self Correction and Stand up to become part of the change once that we See and Realize how we participated in it and How it is in our hands that we can conduct each other to live in Equality and share all relevant information that can make our lives better every day.

280. Austerity is Self Abuse

Negative  Charge Self Forgiveness on the Word Reward based on the memory explained in the previous blog

Continuing from:

reward
n    noun a thing given in recognition of service, effort, or achievement. a fair return for good or bad behaviour. a sum offered for the detection of a criminal, the restoration of lost property, etc.
n    verb give a reward to. show one’s appreciation of (an action or quality) by making a gift. Ø(be rewarded) receive what one deserves.

Related Words bonus, lagniappe, premium; bonanza, jackpot, treasure trove; award, decoration, distinction, honor, plume, prize, trophy; gratuity, tip; desert(s), wages

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to identify the word ‘reward’ with a negative charge due to how I would get rewards from doing good in school and me believing that this was not honest from myself to accept such reward.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to consider that I could only stand as an honest person if I didn’t accept money as a reward for doing my responsibility, which was being a student at school.

I forgive myself that I accepted and allowed myself to judge as dishonest to anyone else that I would witness would want to ‘win’ as in having good grades in school in order to ask their parents for all types of rewards, wherein I would place myself as superior and ‘beyond’ their desires of using their grades as a way to manipulate their parents to get stuff from doing good in school, which I judged as a conditional aspect that would make the person ‘less valuable’ in my mind, and less trust worthy and as such, attaching this values to myself wherein I would not want to be seen as greedy/ self-interested/ money driven for doing good in school, because that would make myself be ‘less than’ and equal to the people I would judge as self interested/ greedy, without realizing that regardless of me accepting or rejecting money, my existence and sustenance and stability was already fully dependent on Money.

I forgive myself that I accepted and allowed myself to reject my father’s money as a reward because of equating his ‘care’ and ‘demonstration of support’ with money as a reward, wherein according to me all that I wanted was simply be recognized for my effort and that’s it, which is how I took pride on ‘not wanting money’ because I knew that it was for myself – however this was also only partially true as I realize that I would definitely care about what everyone else had to say about myself, my grades and maintaining a certain place in my class throughout my school years.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to participate in the construct of ‘good and bad’ in terms of reward wherein I accepted the fact that one would only obtain money if you were ‘good in school’ and how one would be punished if you were ‘bad in school,’ and as such, create an actual fear to not doing good in school and as such being scolded for it, which really only existed as an inherent fear within my mind because I was certainly not pushed to excel in school, but I became my own worst nightmare when it came to pushing myself to excel and ‘be the best’ and as such even be able to reject any form of reward from doing this effort as and for myself, which I see is only partially so.

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realize how even though I would want to reject the rewards and believing and saying ‘I don’t require it,’ I would in fact obviously have a cool time with the money obtained with buying things –within this, believing that with me rejecting rewards I was committing a ‘greater sacrifice’ according to myself, and my beliefs of ‘what is more worthy’ and ‘what is more honorable’ wherein in my mind I believed that: the more I reject reward, the more I earn props for my persona due to being seen as Not greedy and Not doing it for the rewards/ money and was such, not realizing that I was in fact creating a positive self-experience of superiority in comparison to others that I would just as money-interested, greedy and convenience-driven in order to move, which I judged as less than and with a sense of dishonor.

I forgive myself that I accepted and allowed myself to create a relationship of sacrifice as a positive experience when rejecting reward, which would be similar to overcoming a form of ‘evil’ that I had considered money to be and as such, be considered as this ‘special person’ at the eyes of others for being ‘uninterested in money,’ which only now can I begin to see and realize what type of limitation this in fact means, because I didn’t develop a proper equal and one relationship and understanding toward money, but instead I created a relationship of rejection and through rejecting creating a positive experience, wherein as long as I was supported to live, the ‘extra rewards’ would be always accepted through the same experience of rejection and desire for the money.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to create a rejection toward the word ‘rewards’ seeing it as manipulative and a point of convenience that I could only get If I had certain positive outcome in school, which then made it fairly obvious how it was a process of giving a ‘prize’ for doing what I realized was my responsibility and in this

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to remain reacting toward the word reward from the memory of me having obtained rewards from doing good in school and as such, I realize that I am not unconditionally looking at the word reward, but instead imposing my experience of rejection toward rewards based on the memory with my father giving me money for doing good in school

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to link the word ‘Reward’ with money as a form of convenience, extra-support, preferential treatment, specialness, luxury that I have separated myself from based on the values that I accepted and allowed myself to define my reality through, wherein I see that we have all participated in the configuration and perpetuation of our current money system based on the beliefs of values in separation of ourselves as life, as physical equal beings.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to place a Negative Charge upon my father’s action and moment of him giving me money/ giving away his money wherein I created a relationship of rejection and desire for the money in the following way

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to place a negative charge toward receiving money from my father because of thinking that it is his hard earned money and I do not deserve to take it, because what I’ve done is only my responsibility – and within this, reject the money that he is giving me as a reward/gift/prize for the recognition of my school performance and in this, creating a negative experience in the moment of receiving money as if I simply was not worth it.

I forgive myself that I accepted and allowed myself to generate a self-belief of myself being special and unique because I could turn money down, and define myself as ‘better than’ because of doing that, and specifically defining myself as a  ‘good humble person’ in contrast to others that would be ‘glad’ to accept the money/ reward and enjoy it.

I forgive myself that I accepted and allowed myself to create a compassionate experience when getting money because of realizing that not everyone was going to be able to obtain these rewards and how some others would get punished instead, wherein I became aware of how while I would get all the rewards and glory, others would have a really tough time and as such

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to link the experience of getting money/ rewards with an emotional experience of shame and guilt because of knowing that no one else would be as ‘rewarded’ as myself and as such ‘feel bad’ for others in the moment of receiving this reward wherein I began to ‘care more for others’ and their experience than myself, which became a pattern to justify not looking at myself first and actually accepting a reward as a single recognition that my parents wanted to give to me as an incentive to keep going, within this believing that ‘I don’t require an incentive,’ however, deep inside I would definitely care to be recognized and praised by my efforts in one way or another, which means that I was only wanting to present a self-belief experience of myself as ‘better than’ and ‘more than’ others based on being uninterested in money and paradoxically, valuing myself as superior by rejecting such value as money.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to link money to a negative charge because of realizing it is not a readily available item that we can all have, but instead, it is a ‘hardly earned thing’ that enables us to live and as such, learn to fear losing money, to fear earning money, to be lured into wanting more money and as such generate a fear of having ‘power’ as money in my hands.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to generate an emotional experience of rejection when receiving money due to believing that the other person is seriously sacrificing themselves to give me that money and as such, belittle myself in terms of being ‘worthy’ of such money.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to refuse getting rewards within a point of morality based on the linkage of rewards with money, and money linked with power that I was taking from someone realize and as such, I realize that I became evasive toward money because of ‘not earning it myself’ and as such feeling bad because I was ‘sucking  someone else dry’  in favor of my own benefit, without realizing how the entire money system in fact works wherein all our money is currently the symbol of having the ability to abuse and exploit for our own lives to be ‘sustainable,’ not really looking at the actual cost of such ‘sustainability’ that is mostly defined through relationships of inequality where some are deliberately left behind so that they can become the work force that sustains a world-system that works only for those that have enough money to live.

I forgive myself that I accepted and allowed myself to create my happiness point of being regarded as a non-superficial person by not being interested in money and as such, be regarded by others as a ‘genuinely responsible person’ because of not wanting to accept any form of reward from what I deemed was my responsibility – however

I forgive myself that I accepted and allowed myself to play an ambivalence within this point because I realize that this was the personality/ character that I wanted to be perceived as, as a genuine ‘good person’ that is ‘humble’ and is not interested in doing well in school just to get the money – however, once the money was there, I would play ‘humble’ for a moment and then accept the money while creating an experience of ‘I don’t deserve it’ so as to create this experience of belittlement and within this

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to create an experience of ‘I don’t deserve this’ and belittlement when receiving money in order for people to insist on give it to me and insist on me deserving it and as such, create a life-long pattern of expecting people to tell me what to do/ what is ‘ok’ to take and what is not instead of me just accepting something unconditionally when it is given to me unconditionally without fearing the ‘what will they think of me if I just take it’ –

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to reject rewards from the starting point of wanting to be seen as not vain and money-interested within the backchat of ‘I don’t require money to move myself’  wherein I wanted to be looked at as a genuinely humble and grounded person that isn’t responsible for the money/ rewards, without realizing how everything that I would do was possible because of money and as such only existing in this relationship of conflict toward ‘extra money’ without considering how the very fact that I was able to have an education, house, family, food, etc. was possible only because of money.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to maintain a self-belief of me not being interested in money and as such linking this idea to me being ‘more pure’ and ‘more genuine’ than the rest of people and as such, generating a self-belief of being more ‘honest’ and ‘trust worthy’ because I would not do something just because of the reward, however, once that I was aware of what the reward would enable me to buy/ consume, I would want to keep my façade in place of ‘not wanting the reward,’ while at the same time decide to take the money and enjoy what I would buy with it.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to imprint an experience of shame and embarrassment when receiving extra money or payment money wherein I believe that I should stick to getting no money at all for what I do, as I do it as an extension of my self-expression. However I realize that in this world, we have not yet equalized our expression as mutual and equal support – thus, money is necessary and me creating an experience toward money as something that I reject receiving, is rejecting my ability to instead equalize myself to money and use it to continue supporting myself to obviously establish a world system wherein no one will ever again have to go through this polarity experiences toward money as a point of desire and rejection based on looking at the values that we’ve given to money, and how hard it is to currently make ‘extra’ money.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to create a polarity conflict of want and rejection toward money based on me wanting to preserve a positive self-experience of ‘not being interested in money’ while at the same time, desiring the money because of what I could buy with it and enjoy.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to judge myself as ‘better than/ superior’ than anyone else that would only do their job/ responsibilities because of the reward, and within this creating a superiority point of me ‘not requiring rewards to move’ and as such, value myself as ‘more than others’ while at the same time creating a relationship of rejection toward money as something that ‘I did not want to corrupt myself with.’ —- oh!

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to link the word reward to corruption because of believing that one should not be ‘lured’/corrupted in order to do one’s responsibilities, but instead, should be self-motivated, without realizing that even the responsibilities that I would carry out ‘without interest,’ were in fact stemming from the desire to create a positive/ superiority idea of myself  and as such, I see and realize that I haven’t been genuine in my self-proclaimed austerity/detachment/ indifference toward money, as I also participated in the superiority construct of self-value in my mind as ‘better than everyone else’ because of not being moved to ‘win’ but simply do what I had to do.

When and as I see myself creating a negative experience of rejection/ shame/ embarrassment as self judgment when receiving money/ rewards as an outcome of my own work, I stop and I breathe – I direct myself to realize it is just money that I require currently to be able to live and keep moving myself and such, I stabilize my relationship with money, to no longer belittle myself to it or make myself ‘superior’ for rejecting money within a positivity construct.

I realize that inequality exists as the set of values and concepts in our mind as words that we haven’t lived physically yet, because if that was the case, we would not be dwelling with poverty, scarcity, hunger and a general lack and disparity, because we would all be recognizing each other as an equal part of ourselves, in equality, extending the ‘me’ to an us and as such realize that we cannot allow one more part of such me starve to death due to us continuing this game of money/reward and lack/austerity. Thus, this is a process to establish self awareness in all aspects till we all can equally agree that the current way of how this world system is being directed/ misdirected is not sustainable, and how we have to step out of our characters in order to establish common sense which is money equally supporting all living beings

I realize that we have only made of rewards a point of conflict within ourselves based on how our current economic system works, which can be redefined in order to support everyone equally and as such, no more differentiation and separation as a guilt/ remorse experience for having money when others don’t have any/ when others are not equally able to be rewarded because of not having the skills/ opportunities to even be in such a position of ‘competing’ in the world to get rewards.

I realize that I created a polarity relationship toward rewards based on the morality construct of me wanting to be seen/ regarded as someone that is not self interested and as such, earn ‘props for my ego’ which is also part of the idea-belief of myself as ‘more’ than others that I would judge as dishonest and greedy, within this not realizing how within me wanting to be ‘more’ than others through being ‘more honest,’ I was already participating in the separation of myself through valuing myself according to others in constructs created and shaped by the existence of money as a value over life.

Thus, I see, realize and understand that my inner conflict with rewards only exists because I have allowed myself to believe that someone that refuses rewards is ‘more’ than those that only work for the rewards, without realizing that we can redefine rewards as a single outcome of our equal and one participation in a system wherein there are no ‘extra’ points other than the direct outcome of our mutual support wherein equal profit obtained through our labor is what signifies a physical giving and receiving in Equality, available for all that understand how a reward is no longer an extra value/ extra giving as a form of specialness, but it is a recognition of each other as equals.

I realize that such statement of ‘I don’t require money/ rewards to move myself’ is in fact an ego-driven statement, because I definitely realize how everything that we are is currently moved and possible because of money and how money words within our  current system – hence I realize that this relationship of rejection to money existed because of learning how money was not something that ‘grew out of trees’ even if the pater is from tress, but it had to be ‘earned through hard work’ and such linking money to being someone’s suffering that I could not accept as a reward, because of wanting to be seen as a ‘good person’ that does not require such earned-through-‘’hard work money because it would make me subject to the giver of such money in a relationship of self-interest instead of genuine appreciation for our efforts.

I realize that I refused money in self interest to keep a certain idea/ belief of myself as being ‘right’ and ‘better than’ everyone else that would immediately be moved by money, do everything for money which I judged as sleazy and degenerative. In this, only really caring about the ‘who I am’ toward money, creating a polarity relationship toward money as refusing and desiring at the same time, wherein I learned how to view money as this valuable object that I should not ‘sell myself’ for, not understanding that I was already only alive due to my parents having enough money to support me to live, because that’s the current condition we’ve placed in this world wherein I depend on others to live, because they are the only ones able to make money and as such, take for granted our lives and created a limiting system wherein we can only value what has a number/price on it, forgetting everything about ourselves as human beings that are able to live in self-honesty without requiring to be moved by some form of ‘reward’ to do the best of ourselves in all our activities and areas of expression in our day to day living.

I realize that we have become too used to this reward system that, the same as with money, we have to instead redefine money in its core functioning and as such, rewards will also not be incentives to move promoting a winning-losing situation in schools, but instead understand the basic law of giving and receiving: when we give, we allow ourselves to receive equally as a physical in-breath and out-breath to ensure that all parts are equally supported, which is physical common sense.

I realize that I require to equalize myself to money and the word reward as an equal and one giving and receiving aspect that is not signifying a ‘moreness’ but rather a receiving that is an automatic outflow when setting up ourselves within a system where everyone can be benefitted with having access to all the resources and services that make our lives be comfortable and dignified, wherein no one else would have to ‘compete’ in school for the sake of getting the best job/ earning the most money in one’s adulthood, but instead focus on actually developing skills not based on survival but true self-expression and exploration of our abilities once that money is not used as a motivator to excel, but simply as a given right to regulate our equal and living system which is what Equal Money Capitalism presents.

I realize that seeking austerity has become a consequence of me having created this relationship toward money wherein it has not been a self directive decision but instead to keep this personality of ‘good/ benevolent uninterested in money person’ that lives in an austere manner as proof of ‘me not caring much about money,’ which in fact means that I am not really giving what’s best for myself due to this conditioning and pattern – which is not acceptable because If I am standing for and As what’s best for all, I have to live it as myself in order to stand as the example of how we can practically move ourselves to make of money a Tool that enables a dignified living for all, instead of just focusing on maintaining my rejection/ desire self-interest relationship toward money.

I realize that this belief of austerity being benevolent is in fact self abuse and as such, I realize that it is only my own brainwashing that has accepted limitation as a ‘dignified living’ which it is certainly not, as I see and realize that I would not want to remain living the way that I’ve ‘chosen’ to live just to prove that I am not ‘interested in money, ‘and instead

I commit myself to equalize my relationship to money, to ensure that I in fact first live ‘what’s best for myself as what’s best for all’ within the understanding that accepting anything less than what I realize we are capable and able to give ourselves is self-abuse and self-diminishing. Instead, we have to redefine what dignified living is wherein it does not mean ‘having more than others’ but having the necessary to live well, with comfort, general services, food, water, quality products that enables us to enjoy life without harming and annihilating the environment.

I commit myself to continue redefining my relationship to rewards and money as I see and realize that the way I have been living up to now has been a process of self manipulation as an ego that ‘rejects money’ to praise myself as superior than others, not realizing that in this belief of self-sacrifice I am in fact not honoring myself and not living to my fullest potential in all areas of my life, and I realize that self-value as Equality must be absolute, no hidden specialness with regards to money and within this

I commit myself to realize and live the understanding that it is only through equalizing myself to money that I can in fact be self directive with it, because within rejection and desire we are still moved by our mind – instead we look at money as possibilities for expansion, to continue supporting ourselves to demonstrate what is possible when we work together to establish a fair equality system, where actual enjoyment of life and responsibilities won’t be opposed or be against one another, but instead stand as a giving and receiving in Equality.

I commit myself to live the realization that austerity measures in this world system are a justification to abuse and neglect life to be equally supported, which is unacceptable. Thus I stop living this ‘austerity measure’ as a deliberate self-diminishing and rejection toward money which his only a character that is not self supportive and that is in fact just another side of elitism, since I have the ability to ‘reject’ money that is ‘extra’ because I  have enough to live – but I see and realize that this is not an option for many and that the majority is certainly screaming for us to stop looking at things as ‘power’ and ‘control’ but instead regard the actual lives that we are abusing just to keep our ‘deficits’ in place, which is unacceptable.

We are absolutely capable of living in a system wherein we can support each other as equals – austerity measures can only be an outflow of a deliberate unbalance upon which our current system is functioning. Therefore, we require to first equalize ourselves and our relationship to money and as such, understand what type of beliefs/ constructs we’ve accepted to limit ourselves and our capacity/ ability to live in dignity.

“Your physical labour life force – is for most part, Not Valued AT ALL; humans actually doing physical labour are valued Next-to-Nothing, while human beings doing Mental Labour – are Valued More: here, the REALITY, physicality is valued not at all, while the Mental/Illusion is valued most. So, Physical Force is denied, while Mental Force is Exalted. Which is Exactly what we do in/as our own Minds: Our Imagination/Illusion is Valued Most and so we give/pay MORE of our beingness/physicality to/as it, or shall we say Sacrifice More of our beingness/physicality to/as it. Instead of Investing our Beingness/Awareness into and as Physical Equal and One LIVING – which is not a process of a Payment, it’s a Stand of Realisation and of LIVING. This is Why we don’t LIVE in this physical existence, everything had been Valued according to more/less Reward for which you must PAY with PAY in fact being a SACRIFICE.” – Sunette Spies*

271. Sacred Art: the Key to Understanding Reality

When I studied visual arts, one goes through the art history and sees how Art had gotten to a point of ‘divine activity’ at the time when the church essentially became this powerful entity within society that could afford to pay for all the works that all our ‘great artists’ have created and as such artists became equally important along with the meaning/ purpose of such creations, which in this case as we can all see and witness, had to do with sacred art: venerating gods that never existed but in the minds of the human beings that realized they could make profit out of such belief systems.

“Interestingly enough, where these ‘Love and Lighters’ should have Transcended this Message and Brought-about Practical Changes in the Physical Reality – they Create an Alternate Reality, and start to Claim and Impose that the Alternate Reality is the ‘Real Reality’, and that the Real Reality is the Illusion. And then End-up Escaping from this Constant-Message, making ‘The Best of What is Here’ and bringing about No Change in spite of Astounding Evidence to the Effect that the Physical World is Real like for instance, Pain, Starvation, Sex, Food, Waste – you name it, there’s So Many Examples that Each One is Subject to that Proves that the Physical is Real and that the Mind Illusion through which One Escape from this Reality, is Not.” – Bernard Poolman*

I went to some museums yesterday with a family member that had no access to such ‘exuberant expressions’ of the baroque colonial art that exists in the city I was born in, even though he lives in the same country. To me, these expressions were the ‘default’ type of stuff to look at in the streets where you can this type of architecture everywhere downtown, along with these exuberant churches everywhere completely filled with gold inside and the most majestic type of constructions and sacred art that is revered by all people coming from all over the world to witness what type of ‘greatness’ and ‘beauty’ this is supposed to mean/be.

As I was going through these collections of ‘sacred art,’ I realized to what extent this was all a proof of how we have never praised an actual godliness as an actual consideration of LIFE in Equality, but only have revered and deified the sense of value/worth that we have adjudicated to things that are part of this Earth just as anything else – like gold and gods or gold as god- we have all of these objects with gold and we’re all supposed to be impressed by that just because ‘It’s made of gold. I mean, look back within your life-experience when was it that you learned to treat gold as if it was this ‘precious thing’? And as such from that moment on, we learned that having gold in ourselves as jewelry, artifacts, coins or as part of your ‘wealth’ was something that gave you a ‘moreness’ within your personal wealth/money and ‘ownership right’ that gives you a certain status in society – or you maybe were not aware of this all and had no sense of wealth because gold was never around and only found out about it later on in the money-system.

Now, link this gold with representations of Jesus/ Saints/ Crosses and all things that have been prostituted to be sold as part of ‘sacred art’ and what do you get? The most ‘exquisite’ and ‘valuable’ items in the art world – why? Have a look at  your great museums, it is only from a century and a half ago that art stopped being linked to a religious association to become more of a supposed ‘self expression,’ and even that has currently once again been diminished to the ‘market forces’ – our other god which is Money -that are also currently determining what type of Art we can consider as ‘masterpieces’ which is usually a meaning of what’s worth buying/selling and what’s not.

Well, as I watched these bleeding Jesus’ representations wearing crowns of gold I could not help but laugh at the blatant abuse and stupidity that we have come to cage in these glass containers as ‘sacred objects’ and museum-type of items to admire. Sure, it’s got a whole lot of work in it, but let’s face it: they got to such museum-relic type of status because of:

1. The value we have all agreed to give to gold as this supreme metal godly power = money

2. The representation of Jesus on the Cross/ Jesus Bleeding/ Self-Flagellating Monks and Saints/ Crying Virgins in repent-mode as something ‘sacred’ and ‘godly’ while elevating such ‘sinning’ expressions to something ‘cool’ to have around your “living room” in the 18th century.

What a nice way to elevate god/religion to this ‘godly status’ by linking gold/silver to sacred objects, isn’t it?

Now, we can apply the same two points above to virtually everything that we are currently buying/selling in our world. There is always the ‘meaning’ that we give to things – which deals with how we have defined things in our reality, how we value them, how we define ourselves according to that which we buy/ consume/ own and then there’s the ‘market value’ which is the price/money that one has to give in order to buy such thing and trivializing it all according to belief systems, to perceptions and ideals of what we ‘think’ and have become so used to valuing as ‘superior’ or ‘more’ than ourselves, such as the idea of a god in this case and some expression that is shaped/molded to suit the needs of some people to have these objects to satisfy a particular reality-construct of ‘superiority,’ such as what god/religion has become. And in the city where I lived in all my life, that is the ‘platform’ upon which you walk in every moment in the old-side of the city– it is the ‘city of angels’ and just by looking at the art created from the 18th century up to the past century, you can get quite a clear perspective of what has Shaped and Molded the people here, which is a religion wherein the imposition of symbols that denote suffering, that one has created a relationship of ‘guilt’ toward and ‘remorse’ have been ‘spiffed up’ to be made by slaves that dealt with ways to shape gold, silver, ivory, ‘precious metals’ and woods and stones to elevate Christianity/Catholicism to a capitalist-golden status upon this world-system.

So, in looking at this type of ‘sacred art’ one can see a very interesting configuration of what we have come to value: a bleeding ivory representation of some human carrying an ebony cross with incrustations of jade, ‘beautifully’ shaped  – all these paintings of saints with suffering faces, all these representations of Jesus wearing golden robes and gold-crowns ‘in heaven’ I mean, really? Do You think that Jesus had anything to do with implementing this narcissistic self-marketing image of himself with such vain attributions to a single metal like ‘gold’ signifying the ‘godly’ in him? No, in the first place he didn’t ever even want to be summoned as some type of higher force on Earth, everyone got it wrong, and all of this museum-type of artworks are the result of slaves that are only recognized as ‘anonymous’ in the creation of such ‘sacred works for the lord,’ a lord that only exists in the well-kept treasury of what has become one of the most wealthiest states on earth as the Vatican. Really, I have become so used to seeing people that can have an empty stomach and shoe-less entering these opulent baroque filled with gold rock constructions to pray for them to have some money to eat… what’s wrong with this picture!? And this is seen as ‘Devotion’?  Come on, give me a freaking break.

Expression of any form/kind must be an actual representation of who we are as living beings, which implies that no more gods/deities will be shaped with matters of the Earth that we are abusing to create this ‘pile of shit’ as our current world of ‘marvels’ while kids starve. Instead we will always use what is here in order to enjoy ourselves within the process of creating something that we can appreciate as an extension/expression of someone’s moment/time in their lives, and I mean, if there is something I appreciate in my reality is exchanging works of art for no money but the sheer appreciation we have for each other’s works – that’s what actually should matter: making of expression an available activity for all beings equally as we are all human beings, we can all develop skills that can be shared with others, just the same way that we share our words here or in videos or communicating with each other – we do not ‘sell’ our coffee-shop talks wherein we share with one another ourselves, so why have we created this world in a way wherein we have elevated what is of this Earth to a godly/golden status for profit? That’s because of Self-Interest and the belief that we could be gods/more than others through our money and ownership power –

All of this will all be regulated and implemented in the Equal Money Capitalism in order to Finally place a nice Stop to all of our godly delusions and instead, learn how to Live/Coexist and really Thrive within the realization that there is no such thing as god, there is no such thing as ‘higher powers’ endowed to a metal like gold or any other holy-belief endowed to human expression, it is ourselves, our work, our creativity that which should be regarded as honorable and the real capital in this reality, just as Joseph Beuys said: “Art = Capital, Creativity = Capital”  and Capital = Life as we say – full circle.
