365. Labor is a Human Right |Equal Money

Human development has been based upon upgrading our skills and abilities to become a ‘Functional Unit’ in a survival of the fittest system, where our lives are imbued with sufficient fear to ensure one remains complacent to everything that must be learned and done in order to subsist, and at the same time power this system of inequality, lack and self abuse. Is this what ‘Life’ is supposed to be about? Is this the future we want for our children to come into? No, therefore let’s walk through the solution here.

Continuing with:

Problem

  • Our Access to Life,  worth and place in society is measured according to the amount of money you make and type of job you have instead of guiding our lives and consequentially our world-system by Principles such as learning how to live, act and do that which is Best for All and enhancing our living expression in Equality. We haven’t lived as equals in terms of supporting each other to live in the most efficient ways and give to ourselves by default the necessary means to live; instead we accepted the fact that we have to ‘make a living’ and ensure we have sufficient money to live, and that can only be obtained through getting a job: this is our ticket to survive. We haven’t realized to what extent our Basic ‘Human Rights’ have never in fact been lived, at all. The problem is not how these Rights are written but how the system functions which tampers any possibility of them being applied and granted as intended within the considerations that we will read according to the Article related to Work in the UN’s Declaration of Human Rights.

  • Work is an inherent aspect of our lives by virtue of understanding that everything that we consume, our housing, what we use to live requires to be sustained/ maintained in a functional manner – this means that we are the ones that have to use our physical work force and intellect to use the Earth’s resources effectively to make our lives work. This basic activity became part of the economic system wherein we made our lives subject to money, which means we followed the belief that ‘In order to make a living we require a job to make money to live.’ What does this mean? That all of the previous ‘Human Rights’ about Housing, education, food and basic services had to be made also subject to money  in order for us to have a reason to work and earn it, which means we have enslaved ourselves to Money which then became the actual decision-maker that defines what we have access to live and what we don’t.

This implies that our ‘Right to Work’ is not a Self-Honest decision in terms of what must be done in common sense to contribute to our common well being, instead it is a process of coercion wherein work is the key to survive, a key to get money to live – our lives are thus not ‘guaranteed’ as our basic Human Rights would claim. Work became the synonym to life and the conditions within it are nothing but Equal as presented in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

  • It is important to first of all understand and consider that all violations that are going to be mentioned here are not only a result of corporate policies that have no regard to human life and are solely driven by greed, it is our collective responsibility that must be looked at because we are the ones that consume all the products, all the services that imply one or many of the following forms of Human Rights Violations –

Further explanation: Who Violates Our Rights?

  • In the Universal Declaration of Rights – on Labour -Article 23
    • (1) Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.
      Declaration of Human Rights

  • There’s No Free Choice when it comes to seeing which work is best for us, because it’s all defined according to the availability of our ‘desired’ job, the wage or lack of vacancy at all which has become a massive problem that leads to subemployment/underemployment meaning over qualified people that have to earn a lot less than they should according to the studies they have, which in turn creates dissatisfaction and a general sense of disempowerment that permeates all aspects of our relationships with which we form and create the system as is. If Free Choice and favorable conditions existed, we would not be witnessing doctors selling drugs in a pharmacy, or people with PHD becoming part of the entrepreneurial realm just to compensate the lack of funds destined to support researching programs in their field or area of investigation.

  • There is also no option in terms of the type of jobs that ‘uneducated people’ can have  when the urge to have money to feed themselves and their families without having to resort to crime implies underpaid jobs in hideous conditions that are currently being labeled as ‘Slave Labor.’ We have to face the fact that Slavery never ceased to exist and we are all part of it the moment we made our lives subject to money to exist; though those without the ‘worth label’ of ‘Education’ in the system are treated and forced to occupy ‘lesser job positions’ without never questioning if such person had Any opportunity and access to proper education – most of the times, they don’t and this is how we perpetuate poverty and lower class stagnation.

  • There is no security against unemployment – Data speaks more than a thousand words on this. There’s many reasons to this which are all in conjunction to the current downward spiral experienced in our economy worldwide – as long as money is scarce, job creation is halted and this is simply because the power of acquisition is diminished – in this we can understand how there is no isolated aspect or phenomena in our world system as all acceptances and allowances affects the whole mechanism in which the world-system functions.

  • Having a quarter of your population (25%) without employment sky rockets criminality and further stagnation in the economy –it is common sense that people living in austerity will not become part of the reactivation of an economy where scarcity through unemployment, high interest rates and debt is escalating without a solution. South Africa is one of the countries with highest rate of Unemployment which makes sense how it is labeled the most unequal country in the world.

  • The ‘Right to Work’ currently extends to children that are forced to work even from the age of 3, ‘helping’ their parents to make a living – sometimes these children have no parents and no support from any governmental institution either. This means that the future of our world is compromised to ‘make a living’ without going to school that, even if it’s not the best education available, it does mean an opportunity to make a better living in our current world system. This opportunity is not available when children are working par en par with their parents or sometimes working For the parents as slaves. Or even worse, they are sold to the sex trafficking market which also implies our social responsibility in terms of realizing what we have made a ‘business’ and what is available for humans to pay for: our children.

  • (2) Everyone, without any discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal work.
  • (3) Everyone who works has the right to just and favorable remuneration ensuring for himself and his family an existence worthy of human dignity, and supplemented, if necessary, by other means of social protection.

    Declaration of Human Rights

Read the following article for further information on facts that may or may not be accurate in terms of there being any real improvements – however the basic layout of working conditions is there and it is up to your discretion and cross reference in your reality whether these numbers and data correlate to what we are experiencing in our world today.

We are looking at:

  • Excessive overtime in terms of factually labor hours paid. This is commonly known as ‘Slave Labor’ which reflects the extent we have imposed exploitation to fellow human beings that are forced to work the ‘8 hour standard’ almost in a double manner, which means working up to 16 hours a day with no rest, no proper living conditions but instead, living in prison-factories that make our gadgets and latest technologies a reality: it is all done because we demand it, because we consume it and because it is the perfect profitable cyclic system for the corporations that create these products that we all buy, including the device in which I am writing this today and you are reading it as well.

  • Underage workers: children being a labor force that is commonly known to be an abuse yet there is little to No Social responsibility in corporations to Ban all child labor, because under the premise of economic efficiency: cheap labor leads to high profits and this is what drives the ‘effectiveness’ and application of laws in this world – it is thus Not a Principle that is respected.  Some shameful facts here:

    • 1998 – The National Labor committee found 300 young women making garments for Ann Taylor in a Factory in Southeastern China
    • 12 million children laboring in India working in coal mines, textiles and hideous labor conditions
    • 50,000 in Bangladesh children working are ‘essential’ for families
    • 60% of the 350 million child laborers around the globe are in Asia
    • Ivory coast – cocoa plantation workers: half a million trafficked children work there

  • Hazardous waste/unhealthy working conditions: an example is how people working with crops and fertilizers, mostly immigrants being paid less than the constitutional standard for ‘minimum wage’ are often victims of health problems after having little to No protection at all when spraying chemicals onto the foods that we also eat. The same with all workers in nuclear plants and industrial processes that no only harm the worker’s health, but also the animals and environment involved in it.

  • Injuries and deaths: Wal-Mart for example would make money out of their employees due to insurances that would not be paid toward the family of the deceased, but to the company itself – in a system where death is profitable we cannot expect any form of ‘right’ to be existent or any dignity toward one another. In the Chinese Factory Foxconn, workers began committing suicide which resulted in nets being placed surrounding the building  in order to prevent more from doing this as a result of the hideous slave-labor conditions they are bound to, without any solution to have a better future.

    • Agriculture has one of the highest injury rates of any industry; the frequent cuts and bruises can become infected by the bacteria in barnyards and on animals. Moreover, work animals and machinery frequently injure farm workers.

  • No social security/ health insurance: when having a health problem becomes a matter of life or death, people have to resort to seek medical assistance and bypass their need to eat in order to be ‘healthy’ again and continue working to make money – it is a vicious cycle as a result of health care also not being a Human Right. People are forced to continue working without any proper rest which leads to people losing their physical and mental health at a faster rate, resulting in many workers nowadays developing Mental Illnesses at a faster rate.

  • Internships gone unpaid: in the ‘developed world’ all people that aspire to get a good reputation by saying they worked for this or that company, are ‘invited’ to work without any pay just to see if they ‘fit’ the profile to then become part of a corporation’s working force – most of the times, they are only used for short periods of time without wage and only to be replaced by new ‘interns’ that will undergo the same process – since there is no regulation to this practice, there is no corporate responsibility involved in this and instead justify handing out the ‘opportunity’ to those that are more willing to endure the labor-trial to get such desired job.

One-Foxconn-Worker-Cleans-3-000-iPhone-5-Back-Panels-Every-Night-Source-2

  •  Income gap/ Inequality: a worker makes 7.25 dollars an hour while a CEO makes over 5,000 in the same timeframe. The level of acquisition determines the living standard of a nation. This is unfortunately not realized which is why we have absolute stagnation in our economies worldwide, because Austerity measures only limit the capacity to get out of the crisis – this is common sense yet when such profit could be equally distributed among all workers, it is hoarded by a minority that continues to control all possible work sources. This monopoly of the profit system is the best example of how working conditions are Not favorable for all.

  • Falsified records: we have no clear data that exposes all the levels of injustice that happen in fact in the work place all around the world, there’s a lot of clandestine workforce that is used taking advantage of people’s immigration state or lack of personal records that are used in order to ‘hire’ the person with the consent of them not being ‘legal,’ therefore implying that they do not count as a sound worker in corporate records of employment. We all consume and buy the products and services that these labor conditions create.

  • All working unions were systematically attacked due to the obvious power  of Union that would be sufficient to reclaim their basic working rights to be respected by a corporation – the following video will explain in a very simple manner how this works and this is the reason why all forms of unions have been systematically attacked since the 1980’s beginning with the Thatcher era and consequentially being made obsolete so that people remain divided in interests to the benefit of the employers/ corporate interests.

  • Is the solution supporting Labor Unions? Is it Demanding Change? or is it Creating an entire New World System where No workers’ rights are overlooked to make more profit for a few? The problem does not only exist in uniting workers but the entire structure and functioning of the system wherein Corporations/ businesses seek to get the most profit by having the least labor and manufacturing processes expense.

Article 24.
  • Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay.
    Declaration of Human Rights

  • The right to work comes along with Self Responsibility, and we have divided our lives to such an extent that we have made of a job a torturing ground, a daily punishment and hideous time that one goes through almost on a daily basis in order to barely have enough to pay the bills, buy food and entertain oneself to keep going year by year without any ability to escalate one’s living position, because of the amount of debts that come with education, housing, credit cards and all of what exists in a world-system where money exists as debt and interest creation for banking systems that do not have our best interests as their primary purpose of existence.  This is the reason why the time for rest is virtually non existent when people are forced to work double jobs to have sufficient money to feed their family, ‘volunteering’ for extra hours and even working on holiday days with more pay than usual – this means that all ways to get more money are being used and in the meantime, children are being brought up by teachers at school and TV’s/ Internet at home without any supervision. It is an overall social problem with no resolution unless we change the way that we grant access to living necessities to all individuals equally.

International System Problem

The bottom line is Human Working Rights are not respected because Money decides Labor/working conditions, and at this stage granting all individuals with the best working terms implies less profit for the few that dictate the rules in which our economy is meant to work to protect their interests. Political powers are subsumed to Economic power, and this is how we go back to the old saying ‘Might makes Right’ or Money sets the rules of the game.

UN Finds “Little Appreciation” for Human Rights Among US Businesses

“With a few exceptions, most companies still struggle to understand the implications of the corporate responsibility to respect human rights,” Puvan Selvanathan, the current head of the Working Group and one of the two members on the U.S. trip, said at the end of the mission “Those that do have policies in place, in turn, face the challenge of turning such policies into effective practices.”

Again, the reason Why this is so is because of money.

Is this a human rights violation or is it that Rights have never in fact been even applied?

Solutions

  • Work is equated to getting the means to live and this implies that we are able to give and receive in equality the fruit of our labor within an Equality System where money becomes a rights document to all the other Human Rights by virtue of every single individual having an assured job/ means of income to live. This is the foundation of the platform of Stable Financial Support within the framework of the Equal Money Capitalism proposal, where our Human Rights will be guaranteed by virtue of making Money a means to ensure that all our basic necessities to live are covered in a sufficient and dignified manner.

  • Labor within an Equal Money system will not carry in itself a dimension of ‘earning’. The goods and services one requires to live a fulfilling life and one’s contribution to society will simply be two different things. In an Equal Money system, the right to live is a given and not something that requires to be earned. You are already here, you already live – why then is there a need to ‘earn one’s living’? Each individual will, thus, unconditionally be provided with the goods and services he/she requires. More information on the allocation and distribution of goods and services is present on the Goods page.

  • Since labor is no longer a means to determine the distribution of goods and services, what role will it play within an Equal Money System? Let us look back for a moment at the roles labor plays within our current Economic System:
    1. Labor plays a necessary part within the process of manufacturing goods and providing services to the population.
    2. Through labor one gains access to money with which individuals are able to acquire the goods and services produced and provided within the economy.
  • Having removed the necessity to work in order to gain access to goods and services – we are left with the role of labor in terms of the human capital required to manufacture goods and providing services to the population. This is the primary role Labor will fulfill within an Equal Money System.

Here is part of the  Equal Life Foundation’s Bill of Rights  dedicated to Monetary Integrity

13. An Equal Right to Monetary Integrity with a parity system that starts with the building blocks that one unit of value is equal to one unity of measure, thereby insuring that no man, organization or institution can manipulate the monetary and financial systems to their own self-aggrandizement to the detriment of what is best for all, so that such an integrated, balanced and equal system supports and enhances trade, enterprise, circulation and value retention as fundamental in a global economic system that serves Life.

7. An Equal Right of Free Association that provides a social and economic milieu that is dynamic, interactive and free of constraints, out of which new ideas, concepts, technologies and productivity that enhance and advance what is best for all can emerge with the understanding that such association does not limit the first Fundamental Human Right – namely an Equal Life Right for all or any of the Rights flowing from this Right.

Equal Life Foundation

The Seventh Fundamental Human Right is: the Right to Have a job, the Right to Labour, the Right to Have Access to the Means through which the Ecosystem, the Economy is Managed, which is the System of Distribution of Resources on Earth. Without such means, one Creates a Master-Slave Relationship and there are No Human Rights within that Relationship. Therefore, a Basic Human Right is a Job, Employment, being part of the Ecosystem so that one can Receive from it as you are giving to it. An Ecosystem is a Give and Receive, each one Participates by Giving Their Labour so that they can get/receive from it the Result of the Labour. Within that, there are Different Skills and Skill Levels that are Relevant to the Current Genetic Dispensation that has been Accepted – so, Some will be More Intellectual and some Less Intellectual. The More Intellectual will find More Interesting or Effective ways to take Substances from the Earth and Create New Products that can Benefit Everyone. Others will be Less Effective with that, but More Effective with Physical Labour and therefore: their Genetics will Support Physical Labour.
Identifying the particular Skill one has to Contribute to the System, the Ecosystem, the Economy obviously is Relevant, but At the End of the Day – The Right to Receive from the Ecosystem an Equal Measure Is a Basic Human Right as Part of the Basic Human Nature of a Physical Being that finds Themselves on Earth. Thus, Violating it as it is being done at the moment through the Current Systems that is being Utilized, Controlling it through Controlling the Education Systems so that nobody can Realize what they are Really Actually Allowing and Accepting on Earth – is Criminal at the very least.

DAY 362: Human Rights and the Equal Life Foundation

                  • Child labor will be forever banned from this world and instead Children will be where they are meant to be: enjoying educating themselves, learning how the world works, how to become self responsible individuals in physical terms where skills are developed and conducted from a young age to particular areas that they can further develop themselves in when getting to the ‘Work phase’ of their lives – again, this will be entirely consensual since a job won’t be compulsory to live, but instead it will be a process of self-willed and self-directed expression to support and maintain our lives in the best possible ways since we are the ones that will determine How we live in Equality, not money any more.

Creating the Future of the World is Supporting All with Equal Education

                  • All related problems of immigration/ migration will cease to exist since there will be no need for people to leave their families in an attempt to make more money than in their ‘poor countries’ of origin. This will result in an obvious escalation in Human Rights protection since many violations are currently existing due to this social phenomena where families are divided and uprooted sometimes due to not having a legal status in a certain country, some other times for any other alleged criminal involvement. People do not in fact wish to leave their families in pursuit of a better living condition – this happens all over the world and this will all change with Equal Money where no matter where in the world we live in, we will be equally supported to have the best living standard that we are all able to co-create and cooperate to sustain as equals.

                  Rewards

                  • We will all be able to dedicate our lives to do that which we genuinely enjoy doing and have natural skills for – or create them, since Time or money won’t be a restrain to develop new skills and explore new areas of human development –  we won’t be bound to one single 9-5 job for 40 years just to have sufficient retirement funds. Instead we will be able to have a variety of professions, expand our skills and challenge each other to reach new grounds in all fields of investigation and human development since money won’t dictate what we can or can’t do during our lifetimes that we will instead realize must be devoted to supporting All Life in Equality – this means the End of all ‘Modern Day Slavery’ forevermore.

                  • New jobs will be created, the type of jobs that will support the restoration and regeneration of the Earth’s natural resources and living species, since it will be a time to commit ourselves to work with that which matters which is supporting all living beings in Equality, something that till this day has not been lived or remunerated as a dignified job because it is not profitable at the moment – but once profit is removed as a motivation to live, we will instead learn to value the actual life that is here and has always been here as ourselves.

                  • Children will be able to be educated to learn how to become a principled living being, which means we won’t train them in order to become the most successful person based on monetary values, instead it will be a process of self-perfection wherein our ‘work’ will consist of making our lives as effective as possible within the consideration of what is Best for All. Parents will also have sufficient time to be with them at home since there will be no need to work extra hours or double shifts to have enough means to live.

                  • All inequality problems stemming from gender, race, religion, financial status will cease to exist since all human beings are equal based on the premise of the physical aspect of being human beings with the right to work in the best living conditions in order to create within that, the best living products, give the best services and general care for our common well being. Giving as we would like to receive holds no limitation to what is physically required to dignify each other’s lives.

                  • All our basic requirements will be granted as a Human Right which means we won’t ever have to witness or be a part of a protest to acquire that which will be given by default in an Equality system – From here on, we will stand equal and one to honor ourselves, to realize that our world is here to be Lived, not attained or ‘worked for,’ but instead work becomes a living expression that supports Life in Equality.

                  362. Water is a Human Right | Equal Money

How did we go from establishing our civilizations around rivers, deifying water and understanding it as the sacred element of life that it is to the current  condition that we exist as when it comes to knowing yet neglecting all the various ways in which we are depleting, polluting, privatizing and squandering our fresh water resources without considering the definitive actions that we must implement to stop this crime against life if we want to ensure Life continues in this world.  Water is  Human Right, why is it not yet determined as such in the Declaration of Human Rights ?

                  Continuing with:

                  Problem

                  • We have made of water an asset, a product that has become a discord and point of further control to limit the lives of the majority while enhancing the lives of a few – this is permitted because of the current economic and political system where the following problems are causing more deaths and degradation than wars worldwide:

1.1 Billion without water - EMC - Equality Money

                      Demographics:

                      • Since 1950 the world population has doubled and water use has tripled
                      • Only 20% of the world population enjoys access to running water; over one billion people in developing countries have inadequate access to water
                      • The average American individual uses 100 to 176 gallons of water per day; in contrast, the average African family uses 5 gallons of water per day
                      • At least 1 billion people must walk 3 hours or more to obtain drinking water; individuals spend more than 200 million hours per day walking to collect water from distant, often polluted sources

                  Pollution:
                  • Human beings cannot survive without water – yet over 1 Billion people lack access to potable drinking water which is the first cause of death due to people having to drink from polluted rivers and lakes where all forms of waste and bacteria exist.

                  • Not only human beings lack water, all forms of life are currently also not having access to clean waters in rivers and lakes which have become the sewage for industries, entire cities as well as all the chemicals used for agricultural purposes. All of these contaminated waters are used, at the same time,  to water crops which means we are essentially eating our toxic waste in our food. This vital liquid is now permeated with all these relationships of abuse – profiteering, control, subjugation, power – that we have formed toward the substance that conforms most of our physical body; our water is contaminated now in the deep ocean where fish are found with bits of plastic and dying from all the bits consumed – the same way that children and people are forced to drink from polluted rivers because water is so expensive or simply non existent in their locality.

                  • In the world, we pump 30 billion gallons of ground water every single day.

                  • Metrics:

                  • 1 ton of grain requires 1,000 tons of water, 1 slice of cantaloupe requires 40 gallons of water, an 8 ounce serving of steak requires 1,232 gallons; 1 pound of pork requires 1,630 gallons
                  • Agriculture can consume 75 to 90% of a region’s available water
                  • One inch of rain falling on one acre of land is equal to roughly 27,154 gallons of water
                  • 1 Microchip takes 32 liters

                  • The world’s water consumption rate is doubling every 20 years, outpacing by two times the rate of population growth. With persistent regional droughts, shifts of the growing population to urban coastal cities, and the water needed for industrial growth, it is projected that by the year 2025 water demand will exceed supply by 56%
                  • Despite being the most common substance on earth, 97% is seawater and unfit for human use. Two thirds of the fresh water is locked up in glaciers leaving only 1% of the earth’s water for human consumption; this 1% is increasingly threatened by pollution

                  • We are pumping 50 times more water in the world, which means we are breaking the cycle of percolation in which the water is filtered through all the ground to restore the aquifers in a certain period of time. This isn’t being respected and just as any other energetic resource or animal that we kill to consume before it replenishes its reproductive cycle, we are over consuming water faster than it is extracted and replenished, which shows how we have caved our own pit of drought and scarcity: we haven’t yet learned how to respect the natural cycles of this physical world.

                  •   The pollution has created the loss of water quality, which means that there are no more minerals and nutrients that would come from the soil that would benefit our physical body– we are tampering our own quality living by denying water to those that need it, by using it indiscriminately and pollute it without any responsibility.

                    Health:

                  • Of the 37 major diseases in developing countries, 21 are water and sanitation related; no single type of intervention has greater overall impact upon the national development and public health than does the provision of safe drinking water and the proper disposal of human excreta
                  • The United Nations estimates that by 2025 30% of the world population in 50 countries will face water shortages
                  • The World Health Organization estimates that water related diseases account for 80% of all sicknesses in the developing world and claim approximately 5 million lives each year
                  • If no action is taken to meet basic water needs, as many as 135 million people may die from water-related diseases by 2020
                  • At any given time, half the people in developing countries are suffering from water-related diseases

                  • This is all the result of the absolute separation we have created in our reality and world-system “development,” where we have imposed our exigencies to the environment and wanting it to adapt to our lifestyles instead of Ourselves being the ones that adapt to what we have available in this world at a local level.

                  Politics and Corporate Power:

                  • Privatization is the worst crime against humanity that has been going on since the 1990’s when the ability for corporations to own this vital resource comes along with all the ‘free market’ endeavors in our capitalistic system, wherein the right to property is secured for those that have the capital to buy territory, regardless of any law or regulation that implies certain areas are meant to be part of the local patrimony and reserves. The process of claiming the right to the land that is being exploited to obtain water  is conducted in violent ways  including coup d’états and armed conflicts in order to subjugate people and accept the privatization of water . This was adopted during the Thatcher administration in the UK and from there, it was accepted worldwide as a way to implement Neoliberalism tactics with this vital resources that in the past 25 years has become another profitable and valuable asset just as oil or any other source of Energy.  This included tariff free tactics that harm the locality in the worst way since it is an ‘open key’ to poor nation’s resources when it comes to having these major corporations invading a territory, buying it and extracting everything they can and need from it without any local intervention. In 1992 the UN declares that Water is Not a Right but a Commodity.

                  • Transnational Corporations have become the owners of water by the aid of the World Trade Organization known as ‘The Quad’  who are the United States, Canada, Japan en the European Union. There’s been demonstrations/protests that have lead to deaths of people through these new colonization processes that entail the use of power and control over resources that generate profit as opposed to the entitlement to water as a human right –  we have already reached that time when wars are happening due to water, and where more deaths due to the lack, pollution, rights and use to this liquid are taking place every day.

                  • In Mexico, politicians that have been corporate managers have endowed their ‘businesses’ with unlimited access to resources like electricity and water in order for the company to flourish in this country – this is how a single company is considered to rule an entire nation when having privileges that half of the entire Nation’s population lack: access to potable water without having to pay for it – this is what Coca-Cola became during Fox’s administration.
                  • In some other countries in Africa, Water is more expensive than coca cola which forces people to drink the ‘unknown ingredients’ beverage instead of having access to water that is being pumped from their own locality but sold to them in plastic bottles.

                  • Crops and other goods that require a lot of water for their production are exported according to laws of supply and demand, which means that the water is being used to satisfy other country’s necessities and levels of consumption by using resources that are from a locality far away that usually doesn’t benefit at all from such exporting process other than of course, money which is even then a minimum portion of the final revenue that corporations make wherein, for example, selling water in bottles ensures earning thousands of time more money than the original price paid to get the liquid and bottle it up. This is all built in a slave-master relationship where corporations take a hold of territories, use local workforce to establish the necessary plants to make plastic bottles and bottle water up without informing the people of all the toxicity that these processes imply. Corporations like Nestlé pump 200 gallons of water per minute in order to bottle it up without any regulation which makes it loose of any certainty that the final product, such as bottled water, is in fact safe to consume.

                  • Politics and corruption: 87+ corporations are now investing and taking a hold of the water around the planet, including ground water that is being extracted by buying property. All profit making endeavors lead to seeking new territories to ‘conquer’ where corporations can get a hold of the Water in a particular country.  Even the process of desalination implies that water will be taken from the common property and returned to the people/public in the form of a product to be sold thousands of times more expensive than if they drank it from their faucet, not to mention that the faucet water is meant to be regularly tested whereas there is no regulation whatsoever in bottled water.

                  • There are multiple problems that come from drinking bottled water and it has become the most popular way to drink it thanks to an effective media-marketing campaign that lacks any proper information to reveal the chemical dangers that drinking bottled water implies, besides the profitable business that it is for the corporations that are absolutely unregulated to sell and export water without any pertinent information that may declare it is in fact purified water – because it isn’t.

                  • Governmental and Corporate powers have allied to promote water privatization and profitable water business regardless of the known problems that exist when selling water in plastic bottles, but also understanding how this is being accepted and allowed because of lacking information about the actual problems that this causes in health and in the long run causing more expenses in the health sector than any form of profit – yet we don’t seem to grasp the fact that all of this exists due to how we have accepted and allowed ourselves to turn our natural vital resources into commodities.

                  water wars - equal money

                  • Cities with the largest population don’t have enough water to sustain everyone with a constant availability of the liquid. This is how water is now being brought from states nearby through pipeline systems to supply the ever increasing demand of water.

                  • Once that water becomes a corporate endeavor, the possession of water is now a matter of economic importance similar to oil, leading to regulations wherein even accumulating the water from the rain is being prohibited by legal systems mostly fixed to suit corporate interests.

                  • This has lead to public uprisings that have already caused deaths while demanding that corporations stay away from what should be a public good and not a matter of commercial disputes and privatization. It is only in Cochabamba, Bolivia – the same place where McDonalds went bankrupt – that it was possible to expel the transnational Bechtel from trying to privatize the water – this is depicted in the movie También La Lluvia (Even the Rain). However in Paraguay, a similar situation is emerging where now territories are being owned for purposes of privatization with the consent of Paraguay’s parliament, which speaks about again the relationship between corporate lobbyists and governmental powers acting in a profitable manner instead of providing and securing people’s well being and access to water for the people and by the people of that particular area/country.

                  • Water is not mentioned in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This means that we haven’t yet made of this vital liquid part of our unalienable human rights. There’s already an organization promoting the addition of the following right to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights promulgated by the United Nations:

                    Article 31:

Everyone has the right to clean and accessible water, adequate for the health and well-being of the individual and family, and no one shall be deprived of such access or quality of water due to individual economic circumstance.

                    http://article31.org/

Why is it not added? Huge corporate interests tampering the ability to reclaim Water as a Fundamental Human Right – however, the reality is that we haven’t united ourselves to actually implement this at a Constitutional level through democratic means- We are still waiting yet, for how long and how much more detrimental processes will we continue to directly and indirectly participate in before we wake up?

                  • A problem is also the lack of proposed solutions as this website reveals: “Solutions from the World Water Organization?”
                  • “Coming Soon”

                  http://www.theworldwater.org/water_solutions.php

                  • The reality is that we are causing all of this water pollution and business-making schemes due to the accepted and allowed separation that we have created toward all of the Earth’s resources, the animal kingdom and ourselves and neglecting the fact that we are in fact equal and one as the living substance that we are all made of. We as human beings should have been the ones that guarded our best interest in equality as life; instead we have turned life into a business making machine where we all want to be winners without realizing that entails creating losers – we are no all  facing the consequences of allowing this at all the levels that we have reviewed here thus far. We caused the problems, we must create the solutions.

                          Solutions

                          • The Vital element for Life  – which is Water – Must be a Universal Human Right and a common good; this means that money won’t determine your access to it, nor will it be able to be turned into a profitable business within the Equal Money System that will be implemented according to the Fundamental Human Rights as proposed by the Equal Life Foundation where every human being will be entitled to equal rights to the necessary means to live in dignity as that is what is best for all.

                          • This can also be acknowledged in a United Nations Convention where it is declared that Water is a Human Right, however as we know rights are not enforced and actually implemented by all nations. Therefore, it must be part of the Global Trust that we can create where no particular nation has control over it other than for equal distribution and management purposes at a local level. No particular administration will be able to influence that which is declared to be a patrimony of every individual who will be entitled to the use and consumption of water in a self-responsible manner, which means proper education and new ways of usage can be implemented to ensure the efficiency in the use of it.

                          • We have to conduct governmental changes that can put a definitive stop to this abuse stemming from privatization carried out by corporations in conjunction with politicians/ governmental authorities.  Our participation through  direct democratic process to enter the political arena is a necessary step to ensure we, the people, get to settle an agreement where Water becomes a Human Right and as such managed by the Equality Based Governance where it is understood that each one of us will monitor and ensure that the distribution and use of water is conducted in a best for all methodology. It’s already proven that unity, organization and a common effort is the way forward to change our acceptance and allowance of this profitable business that we have turned water into – instead we implement and establish Equal Access to Water within the framework of Basic Fundamental Human Rights and the Equal Money System and Equal Money Capitalism. Having or lacking money won’t determine whether you benefit from it or not.

                          • This requires necessary changes in all our current living habits beginning with agricultural and industrial practices to ensure that the production processes are not polluting our water, air/ environment since it is the vital cycle of water that must be taken care of and restored to a process where we can obtain the necessary water by respecting the time necessary for it to filter and then be ready for our use and consumption again. Recycling water is an option, but investing in further research on how to obtain water through for example, condensation processes is another option as well as funding any necessary scientific projects to purify water once that there will be no corporate interest tampering this emerging technology to do so.

                          • It is in our best interest to maximize natural resources’ efficiency, reestablishing and correcting the filtration process of the water in the same soil and territory where it will be used– meaning that we have to ensure we stop transportation of water to maintain central cities that are taking up the most resources from distant places, causing already severe damages to the ecosystems that are having their water being siphoned. This means becoming aware of the destabilization that ensues when we try and ‘give water’ to places where there is non to maintain cities were life is not made sustainable yet.

                          • We all have to become aware of the habits with regards to water usage, but also understanding the necessary changes in assessing what we need and how we produce it, so that all processes are aligned to resource efficiency along with the necessary water treatment plans to ensure that all necessary preventive measures are established; money won’t be a limitation to not do this and science will be encouraged to find new materials, new means and methods to produce what we require to live.

                          • Local agriculture in terms of the Food System will enable a region’s water resources to support the local Food Production; this means ensuring that the water are feeding and sustaining the locality instead of being siphoned in exports, disrupting not only the local economy but also the natural cycles of water. Another measure is stopping the creation of dams and instead create alternative ways to retain rain water to enable the hydrologic cycle to re-establish itself  to ensure that the filtration of water through the soil is adequate. Another measure can be limiting housing in particular areas where the amount of water is compromised or non existent – this  will ensure stopping creating unnecessary infrastructure just to please the interests of a minority that are currently possible due to the power that money has. This entails the necessary educational processes in terms of population, buying habits, and use of water in a responsible way, as the vital element to life that it is and must be available for all equally.

                          • Reform at a Constitutional Level and make the necessary reforms and amendments will make of Water a Fundamental Human Right where Waters are protected from any organization or institution that may want to abuse it for other purposes other than supporting life as what’s best for all.  Corporations won’t exist as profit-making machines, but actual producers of goods that can go re-forming their production processes to be genuinely environmental friendly and quality producers. Water is the key element to live, thus it is in our best collective interest to ensure everyone benefits from water and learns how use it in the most efficient way.

The following is part of the Constitutional Fundamental Human Rights as promulgated by the Equal Life Foundation.

The Fourth Fundamental Human Right is a Fundamental Right as well, because the Human cannot Exist without Clean Water. Thus, Water (also freely Provided by the Earth – except for the part of Purifying it, which is the Human Labour part) – is a Fundamental Human Right that is Not Possible to be Negotiated, Sold or in any other way Used to Diminish Another Human Being. To Do such things is In Fact Human Rights Violations and a Crime.

DAY 362: Human Rights and the Equal Life Foundation

                                          Rewards

                                          • Ensuring the quality of our water by our own ability to monitor, manage and ensure the quality and access/distribution of water takes place in a best for all manner is what will enable all of us to stop the current deaths, diseases, birth defects and general water degradation by virtue of our individual cooperation and participation to observe and participate in the managerial processes where we can assure that our well being is in fact taken care of by those that decide to work to manage this collective resource.
                                          • No more privatization, no more wars, no more points of control , no more pollution or abuse from corporations dominating this vital resources. Instead all corporations or organizations that decide to work with water will be for the purpose of ensuring the best administration of water, treatment plans and any other emerging technology that will enable us to purify water and make it available for more people until everyone is covered.  This won’t be a business, but a decision to do what is Best for All since that is also implying our own well being is secured and guaranteed such as having sufficient water for everyone to live.

                                          Problem

                                          • Why is it that we speak about What’s Best for All instead of Power and Wealth or Happiness for all? Words contain an entire history of relationships of abuse wherein the polarities of winning and losing, master and slaves are embedded as the impositions that have been accepted as the order in our world: some win and some lose – this has been the world order throughout time, but we never questioned why such inequality was existent as ‘how things are’ without any other reason or justification other than because they are stronger, because they are wiser, because they are more, because they were born that way, because god says so. All of these excuses have been acceptable throughout various stages of our history, yet it doesn’t seem to be different now where some people believe that poverty is just ‘what we’re born into,’ as if it was a genetic condition that would by default deny you the ability to have sufficient money to live – however, we have all become gods to limit such basic right to the majority of the people.

                                          • The problem comes when we propose what’s best for all as a universal law and principle that guides all other rules and regulations, yet we can be called out for having a god complex in doing so, without realizing that there has been no god or emperor that has established such common well being in Equality ever, actually as humanity we have already done such a move when deciding who are the ones that should be enslaved and who should be ‘the rich and powerful ones.’

                                          • But we never questioned such wealth and power and look at How such wealth and power was created and sustained in the first place.  The problem is thus a matter of concepts with which we have generated our own condition to fear anyone that wants to implement a ‘new order’ such as a principle, a law and right for everyone without exception to be supported to live in the best condition – what happens is that what’s ‘Best for All Equally’ is not understood, because it has never been given as a living right, because everyone’s ‘needs and desires’ are believed to be different and special, but it is really not so when we consider we are all physical beings coexisting in the same planet. These are the physical facts upon which we’ll consider our Best for All definition.
                                          • We have to realize that we already have a society that runs in an efficient manner – the problem is that: not everyone has access to a well developed society or living condition,  because of our acceptance of ‘how things are’ without ever questioning inequality, which is the same as accepting ‘power’ and ‘control’ as some form of immovable order that no one can challenge, that has been our demise.

                                          • There’s also the psychological conditioning wherein we have learned to fear each other from having More than ourselves, fear being robbed, betrayed, deceived and ultimately killed – but we haven’t really established how we generated such conditions of constant fear between each other, which is through the accepted and allowed belief of ‘lack’ and ‘scarcity,’ along with the survival of the fittest mentality. This has been the psychological separation between one another fighting to ‘have the power’/ get at the top/ be the best and have the most without questioning  – but why haven’t we just given to each other the same access to what we all know we want and make peace on Earth?

                                          Solution

                                          • We all have basic needs which are the fundamental points for survival: food, water, clothing, health care, education, housing which entails all public services like electricity, sewage, waste management and all the furniture in it, education, a job or means of getting money. Those are the very Basic requirements to sustain ourselves in a decent manner – however we propose that this is not yet enough to make our lives the Best way possible, but only keeping everything within a limited framework.

                                          • The  considerations that will make our lives the ‘Best’ imply that which makes our lives be comfortable, practical, secure and enjoyable using technological advancements and any other innovation for it. This is how we can add means of communication like computer, cellphone or any other personal gadget, transportation, child care, shopping centers, time for traveling, sports clubs, entertainment and recreational centers, well preserved public areas, free universities,  best public services like banks, government, data collectors, press, media, family education centers, behavioral skills development, sustainable farms and agriculture, self-managed companies, trade of goods and services with equal profit share, production that doesn’t harm the environment nor exploits the laborer, having access to the best quality products, general security, special support for people that require it, cultural and artistic activities – all o this as part of a living right and responsibility for everyone equally.

                                          • These elements will generate the physical and infrastructural support to propitiate our individual psychological needs and satisfaction such as security, self-certainty, confidence, financial stability, conviviality with other members of your society, mutual honor, being able to develop self-expression, natural enjoyment, being able to spend quality and sufficient time with your partner/family, respecting each other as equals and in essence live in a constant physical environment that provides a sense of happiness that is not only a sporadic ‘positive experience,’ or something that must be bought or sold, but a given-fact for everyone as a human right and responsibility.

How to implement ‘What’s Best for All’ ?

                                          • Equal Money Capitalism is the key to adapt and change the current political and economic structures of our corrupted form of capitalism, take its basic principles of serving individual rights to have all of the necessary means to satisfy our physiological and psychological needs, and improve our social relationships. This means that with every individual having their rights guarded and their needs fulfilled, the well being of our society will be generated by default, by virtue of each one’s responsibilities within our personal activities to generate money or educate ourselves to eventually earn money, and as such ensure that each one is well prepared to function as an individual member of society. This ensures that everyone’s best interest is created by the collective participation with equal support.

                                          • No one will have to be sacrificed to create a general well being, instead each one will be a competitive person in order to excel as a living consideration of ‘what is best’ as an individual effort,  and make of the product of these achievements each one’s contribution to the common good as the sum of self responsible individuals.

We won’t only have ‘1’ great doctor, but everyone will be able to equalize to the best quality possible if we as a society decide that everyone must have the same tools, education and support to reach our optimum condition of skills and abilities that generate the goods and services for trade.

                                          • Our self-interest as a common well being interest is to have a fulfilling living condition as in having all our basic and ‘extra’ needs met, therefore in an Equal implementation of these capacities, we require to give access to such benefits in an equitable manner – how to do this? Through distributing profit for every participant in a business/ organization/ institution/ corporation in an equal manner. This is the way in which we can ensure that everyone’s right to be happy, to be healthy and enjoy life is guaranteed by virtue of their own work and effort. These are all physical reality plausible living conditions wherein no other philosophical or ideological terms are required. No one will be allowed to get any less than their best living condition, this means no suffering and no misery, no marginalization, no poverty, no famine, no crime.

                                          • By covering everyone’s best for all condition, we ensure that no one goes to war to have ‘more than others’ or seek to deliberately abuse them to create a relationship of power and control. This ensures an actual freedom between individuals, which is only able to exist if Everyone is Equally supported to live in a Free condition – not being bound by other’s imposed rules and regulations, but living by a universal principle: Equality as Life, translated as ‘give as you would like to receive,’ ‘love your neighbor as yourself, ‘ ‘investigate all things and keep what’s best,’ ‘do onto others as you would like them to do onto you,’ which are the pillars of our morality and ethics of Life in Equality.

                                          • No one will be ever again a a slave, meaning, someone that is forced and coerced to perform jobs or activities that he/she does not want to do but has no other option because of needing money in a desperate manner. Within this, we will consider that all those ‘shitty jobs’ that no one wants to do will have to be done by ourselves, taking responsibility for what we used to enslave others to do for us, this is only fair if we want to create true freedom for all. No one will be sacrificed for the greater good, since sacrifices imply abuse and abuse cannot exist if everyone is always living in the best condition possible.

                                          • Equal Money Capitalism is based on practical physical reality: what you give is what you receive, you get money to live according to the work you do in equal remuneration to everyone else. The motivation is the realization that we require everyone participating to keep living in such a sustainable and comfortable condition that benefits all. And, just as any other organism, if it stops working to obtain the necessary means to live, it dies – so we all have to ensure that we keep the system alive by our individual participation, that’s a physical organic consideration at a social level, being a vital organ of the ecosystem and coexisting in symbiotic relationships within it.

                                          • Only in Equality will we be able to Live in Freedom understood as the ability and capacity to coexist in peace and harmonious relationships with one another,
                                          • Pursuing our own Happiness in accordance to Respecting and Honoring each other as Equals.
                                          • The ability to Choose our profession and vocation in life based in skills and passion instead of the old profit-motive.
                                          • Developing ourselves to our utmost potential where money is not a limitation to our expression, but a tool to ensure that everyone can have equal support to enhance our living skills and social conviviality.
                                          • Living in a constant stability and prosperity, in Equality we can keep the system functioning in a perfect condition by all realizing that it is only in Equality that we can all be abuse-free and slave-free – no harm and no abuse.
                                          • Peace and Joy on Earth, all of it created by our collective yet individual effort and labor, each one contributing to ensure that our rights are guarded by our own mutual support as society – no need to have a Leviathan to ensure we act in the best interest of all.
                                          • Self determination means: we decide by direct democratic vote what’s best for all, and we make it a living statement by the fruition of our own work.

The alienation of the spectator to the profit of the contemplated object (which is the result of his own unconscious activity) is expressed in the following way: the more he contemplates the less he lives; the more he accepts recognizing himself in the dominant images of need, the less he understands his own existence and his own desires. The externality of the spectacle in relation to the active man appears in the fact that his own gestures are no longer his but those of another who represents them to him. This is why the spectator feels at home nowhere, because the spectacle is everywhere.  – Guy Debord, The Society of the Spectacle [1]

Soft Imperialism by Culture and MediaContinuation

                                          • Creating needs in people, tell them consuming is  ‘what life is all about’ and you get a certain market that will live a devoted life to praise consumption and reduce life to a series of experiences that end the moment a new trend comes out, a new experience to buy, a new gadget to wear and upgrade one’s image of  success worn as clothes, accessories, shoes, cars, pictures of being having the ‘great life’ – but, deep inside there is a strong sense of alienation that is  difficult to look from ‘outside’ because it is virtually everywhere as part of ‘who we are’ and the identities we become, which are the byproduct of the same profitable society that breeds consumers, not living beings.

                                          • Trading our goods and services has nothing o do with the cult of the image that we have built around consumerism, it is necessary to realize that our lives cannot be determined by the amount of experiences we have, how many ‘valuable objects’ we own, because these are all the values that keep the same system running, wherein our needs and desires are shaped in the image and likeness of celebrities that we seek to mimic and adopt as our own identity. That’s the configuration of our society and that’s why Debord emphasizes that we feel ‘at home’ nowhere, because the spectacle is everywhere, and everyone buys into it.

The spectacle within society corresponds to a concrete manufacture of alienation. Economic expansion is mainly the expansion of this specific industrial production. What grows with the economy in motion for itself can only be the very alienation which was at its origin. (Debord, 1967)

                                          • What we grow every time we buy is our self-image built around the cult of what we own, how we look, what we choose as our ‘lifestyle.’ This alienation is not only existent toward that which we buy, having no idea how it is produced and where it will end once we’re ‘done’ with it – we get alienated from the very physical reality that we are as our physical body. We’ve made of our flesh and bones an Image that we seek to Adapt according to the images on billboards, creating eating disorders and self image obsessions that occupy a being’s entire life where even if food is not consumed, the image seeking pretty much consumes the being alive, making of an internal conflict a time-consuming entity that leads us to be absolutely unaware of reality, but only exist in the glorious self interest of me-my-image-and-myself.

                                          • The consumer culture is the greatest form of degradation that we have faced as  humanity, because it stopped being a momentary form of distraction a few hours a day or a momentary treat after a hard day of work, it’s become who we are and how we behave and  have shaped our values, beliefs, morals, relationships according to these  Images that are upgraded every season. This means that: you have to buy NEW things every time to be ‘up-to-date’ in a society that believes it is important to  have a fresh look and  identity according to mass-media trends and ensure you are ‘upgraded’ and follow what your social tribe of preference dictates to buy every other season – this has become ‘mandatory’ if you don’t want to face marginalization for not being ‘cool enough’ to have enough money to Buy new things on a constant basis.

                                          • Children are taught to seek love, money and superhero traits – teenagers learn to be disillusioned about  a world that has nothing to do with the fantasy presented in movies and videogames, new heroes representing the ideal lifestyles of perfectly tailored models that become ‘the voice of a generation’ emerge as depressive-and-on-meds type of figures that values more spending time feeling a constant need for ‘something’ and seeking it surfing in the net, consuming drugs, buying, drinking, gossiping, playing with gadgets rather than enjoying physical interaction with each other to learn how to live in the first place.
                                          • What’s the common denominator here? People seek experiences generated in the idleness of our sedentary lives that require constant updates of personal computers, phones, more and bigger flat screen TVS that constantly imprint the images we want to become. But, who has decided to present this to us? It is only in the benefit of those that sell the products that we get to ‘choose’ what we desire. Entertainment would not be an industry if the prefab images shown on TV weren’t available for sale.

                                          • We can see the pattern already: the main problem is our constant desire to Experience –  the world revolves around this. There would be no point to buy, consume, visit places and eat up stories to make us feel good.  We have diminished ourselves to a collection of experiences, memories, people that we believe are important to us for what they make us feel. Who benefits from this? Everyone that is able to create the perfect setting, the perfect stage for such ‘insta-moments,’ the perfect drug-drink to consume, the greatest clothes to wear, the greatest cars to show off, the most benefits that only a few can afford – which makes it even More special and exclusive.
                                          • We live to praise our self-images that determine how valuable we are at the eyes of everyone else – is it? Or have we just become an illusion to such an extent that we cannot even get to question how we got ourselves into this insatiable state of consumption, leading us to a life of constant energy fixed desires, becoming drug addicts, sex  addicts, TV junkies, celebrity gossipers, government bashers, economy illiterates, freedoms seekers and god seekers, getting high and jumping off balconies to challenge ‘the system’ and make a general anthem of ‘Ignorance is Bliss’ as the road to walk for the next generations to come.

How long can we keep this show running?  We have reached the bottom of our downward spiral – how much more repetition can we take?

                                          • Let’s look at our thoughts, see how many of them relate to an experience about who we are, how others see us, what we want to buy next, where we want to be? Were we the creators of these seemingly unstoppable desires? are we the result of the perfect feel good enslavement that is sold to us every time we want to Feel something new? Yes, it is – and we have all fell for it –doesn’t matter ‘who’ you are,  individualization has been made the most important thing that we hold, beyond any common sense of being breathing physical beings.

                                          • The truth is we have never really been ‘ourselves’ because we have only existed as mind systems seeking for energetic experiences that are bottled up, tagged and sold because we desire, hope and need it. We have sold our physical body to the devil, which is the system that we all feed with our desires, the greatest treats that justify a life of slavery, poverty and abuse for a majority,  because we all work to get these bits of heaven in order to numb ourselves from our reality that we ended up victimizing ourselves from, believing that the corporate monster is to blame, instead of looking at the very thinking processes that fuel this entire machinery that is seemingly as unstoppable as our own mind – here I state: it is Only a Belief that it can’t be stopped – We  have to take ourselves to the origin of our thoughts to prove such belief is simply an expensive  delusion.

                                          Solution

                                          The Spectacle Meets Rehab

                                          • Considering practicality/money and necessity over experience, looking if what we want to buy in fact only feeds our ‘self image,’ pursuing the experience of owning something, or who one will be when compared to others that don’t have what we do, and instead look at the facts if one in fact Need what we are about to buy, or if I one is subconsciously buying an character-accessory to store within this personal vault of memories and experiences that we define as ‘who I am.’

This is a key experiment that I dare everyone reading this to do, and if you are Self Honest which means you don’t ‘fall’ for your desires, you should see a considerable amount of money remaining in your bank account/pocket/ under your mattress, because you will be able to stop yourself and realize that what you are buying is only an Illusion, that it will be a flickering moment just like a match that burns bright and consumes itself to ashes, requiring us to flick another to brighten the same darkness that we have avoided to become: physical stable living beings that do not require an Experience to be alive – think about this this, will generate a Great change in our consumer culture if we integrate this understanding in our day to day living behavior, which will include getting to know How our products are created, where they end up after they are no longer used and the consequential outflows of producing and distributing such products to satisfy our desires, then decide what we can keep and dispose all that only feeds greed.

                                          • Solutions for isolation with our current gadgetry lifestyles. There is nothing wrong with the techno-advances that we have, but a few considerations are shared here:  once that we realize that we are not images, we’ll spent less time cultivating our fascinations to further specialize the ‘who we are’ as this character/self image toward others, we’ll spend that time developing a relationship with ourselves, to get to know that Self that has only existed as the byproduct of our society, of our parents and the media that filled the ‘void’ in our lives.

Here we can make it fun to – upon recognizing this prefab/ pre-packaged condition we all kept as ourselves– realize that we can in fact for the very first time in our human existence Decide who we want to be, integrate Values that consider our Equality as Life, living to become a contributor to a social transformation that will remove our spectacle attires, stripping ourselves  to see what remains once that we stop feeding our consumer driven and personality-cult obsessions. A group effort is required for this, each one of us will stand as an example of what it will take to stop being addicted to the mind and learn to appreciate the physical that is what has always been here, that we’ll  learn to trade as a living meaning of giving and receiving in Equality – no more greed for superiority and mind-driven personality fixes.

                                          Rewards

                                          • Opening up our eyes from the illusion will mean a transformation in our entertainment and ‘variety production’ in this world. Imagine the amount of ‘special items’ dedicated to the cult of self that could be significantly reduced when people stop buying experiences and instead, learn how to invest on supportive items, genuinely enjoyable treats and re-learn how to communicate, share and essentially enjoy each other’s presence beyond the constant up keeping of a Character that we sold to others, in fear of being vulnerable about our real experiences, our questions, our thoughts and fears – we’ll be able to heal a drugged up, shopaholic and self abusive society with the ability to share our ‘Consumer Anonyms’ stories, as well as forgiving our constant competitions and fights over our pet peeves, that have also became necessary religions to idealize the perfect ‘originality’ that everyone sought to attain in our so-called lives.

                                          • We can make the crash and the fall of our mental high, the landing on Earth after the illusion of grandeur a humble experience to learn from each other, to forgive ourselves for having turned this Earth into a massive grave of products chocking animals on Earth an in the sea, bits of junk that once caused us a form of joy, never questioning if we actually needed that or not.

                                          • Consumerism as a disease will be treated at an individual level with the understanding that we have all complied to turn beings into slaves and nature, the animals, plants as assets that became accessories to our ideal prefab characters we sought to be and become. It is the least thing we can do after we have succumbed to a never quenching mind thirst for more, while forgetting that we are, beyond all, physical living beings that Live  and Breathe regardless of what we believe and experience at a mind level. Desire for more, Greed  is the real evil that we have to disintegrate from our core-programming, and we have the support here: Desteni  I Process.

                                          320. Economic Power in Equal Money Capitalism

It is a blatant imaginary system imposed onto physical reality, that’s what money is: a mind creation that represents the relationships of power and abuse that we created in order to have more than others, and use others to do the work for ourselves. This is a mind problem that has become our current economic system backed up by the necessary political powers to make it ‘real,’ when it is absolutely not so. It is our creation, and it is our responsibility.

                                          Problem

                                          What is economic power?

The power wielded by a businessmen is the power to create wealth through production, and trade. In regards to trade in a free market, a businessmen can only entice you to do his bidding, by offering you something that you judge to be of equal or greater value in return as judged of your own free-will. His power is the power of persuasion: the power to appeal to one’s mind. Such power is derived by creating value–such as when Bill Gates (Microsoft) creates better products at lower prices. The businessman’s spiritual tool is the mind–and its material counterpart–is the dollar.

                                          http://capitalism.org/category/power/

A fundamental building block in our consciousness is the notion of and belief of power endowed to money and the ‘benefits’ that come with it, which makes of money and end in itself and with this, Power became a disease in the human mind wherein our ‘creative powers’ have built an entire fixed system where by ‘the way the system works’ we justify  abuse, control, subjugation  and the ability to decide upon others according to and directly proportional to the amount of wealth/ economic power individuals have, created by the necessary deceptive means as implied in the quote above.

                                          I quote Bernard Poolman:

“There is No Morality. There is No Self Honesty. There’s No Consideration. There can be No Trust. You have No Integrity. There Can be No Integrity with the Current System. You Cannot Live within the System, with Integrity. It is Not Possible. You Have to Change it to What is Best for All, but…Will you? Not Really, because – you Can’t: “you’ll ‘Lose too much’”, you See – because you’re already Possessed too much. That’s the Demon within you – your Possessions: “I am Possessed by what I have, I can’t give it up – therefore, I can’t Share, I can’t Give as I would like to Receive, because I already HAVE.” – Encryption, encryption, encryption…Backchat, backchat, backchat – Self-Righteous, Justified.”

                                          • This belief and justification of such Economic Power decides who stands at the top of the pyramid, who lives and who dies, who must live a life enslaved to a job to ‘make enough money to go by’ and who will be more focused on how to capitalize such wealth, which is in essence the disease of greed and power.

                                          • Money was created to fix a very simple problem: how to create a medium of exchange that could give a value to two or more different things that were going to be traded, which is also entailing the requirement for a unit of account. Money is a convenient tool to exchange goods and services in a common unit.  The exchange rate came into the picture later on, which is in itself a relationship of Power between Nations and ‘monetary authorities,’ which is the hegemonic structure where abuse was installed.

                                          • It is a Store of Value which enabled individuals to convert perishables into more durable goods – right, but it became a lot more than this since the amount of ‘durability’ that wealth has is more than just a mere practical form to secure your earnings, it has become an addiction in itself where earning more, having more, wanting more has overruled any form of common sense in an individual that ‘tastes the glory of power’ and becomes entrenched with the right of ‘pursuing happiness’ to do so, which is openly acceptable in our dog-eat-dog capitalist ideology and world.  So ‘Storing Value’ as money transformed into ourselves becoming and embodying such Amount of money that we have and call it ‘our wealth,’ our ‘power’ and justify it as our Lifestyle and Right to Be Happy.

                                          • These are the very basic functions you’ll find Money exists for – so, how was it become our God  and who has decided that only a few could really enjoy the ‘powers’ of it when having more than enough to do those basic trading operations? Well, it became a way to Control and Accumulate Money in itself as a form of Power/Control over others, this is through our own accepted and allowed ‘Authorities’ that are able to decide the Value of a currency in comparison to others, which reflects what we currently call our first and third world countries, there’s also the process of fixing prices and the rest has been explained where these regulations provide all the necessary legal means to make the most profit without any form of responsibility toward everyone involved in the creation of such Money as Value that became a Power/wealth in itself for some.

                                          • By becoming a monetary authority, states can manipulate “the Forces” that determine price levels and international capital flows. This is what creates the ever justifiable ‘monetary policy autonomy’ between nations, and this is what moves the world as we know it. A single authoritarian decision to create value systems that benefit some, neglect the majority and is perpetuated through legal means – this is where such ‘Economic Power’ resides, Not the Individual.

                                          • The greater concentration of this power, the better and our hegemonic system flourishes every time that we buy and consume from the Multinational Corporations and Enterprises that have become the real hegemons in our world system. It is this desire for Power that currently sets the ‘regulations’ and policies that are tailored to suit the interests of those that already hold the power, this is thus not a problem of ‘the System’ only, but of Human Nature existing in such cynical manner where No regard toward Life is existent, but we all Feed the machine through our very own desires to also have such power, so there’s no one to blame for other than our very own mind-mechanisms that have created money as a means to abuse in itself.

                                          • The main problem is conceiving this power as ‘good’ and ‘great’ and ‘your right to property, liberty and happiness’ instead of looking at the consequences that such mechanisms are creating in our world. The imposition of currency values as Exchange Rates determine which country dominates another through trade where the motive is self interest and greed, why has there been no motivation to create a single currency? Because there would be no benefit in that, there would be no acceptance from equal currencies to accept another country’s capital to buy cheaper labor to then ship the goods to be sold at a higher price abroad, isn’t it? Slavery, famine, homelessness, debts, lack of health, subordination, immigration, and any other form of abuse and slavery is accepted and allowed by this hegemonic system we’ve all complied to, a single VALUE we believe is real and ‘just’ by the means it was proclaimed to be so.

So, how to Equalize this Economic Power within our current system?

                                          Solution

                                          • The key begins within the individual realizing that this current system of  abuse called our monetary policies, economic system and the executives behind it must cease to exist as they do now, that implies a reform through political means – democracy is the way to implement a new political and economical system that actually restores to money its very basic functionality of being a medium of exchange, a unit of value and account – and that it serves to enable people to buy goods and services according to the amount of money earned through the labor they support the system with, it is thus a giving and receiving motion wherein there will be no ability to abuse, since Equal Profit share means that no matter what position you are in within the system, you get equal amount of money from the total profit made by the business/ corporation, and the same in any other governmental dependency, charge, service that you give outside of a main organization.

                                          • The Value of Money will be life in itself, no longer someone’s desire to win more in Wall Street or exploiting ‘Free Trade’ in third world countries. It is and will be a functional tool that enables us to distribute life to all people that contribute to participate in the system, co-creating a sustainability that everyone can benefit from.

                                          • One currency would be the most practical of course since our Exchange Rate Regimes are only created out of the relationships of power an inequality that are currently accepted in our world-system. However we will only see how Currency exists –  for further reference on currency, read:  ¿What will be the Currency in an Equal Money System?

                                          Rewards

                                          • The definition of Wealth will be an actual integrity of man willing to give and receive in equality, where money is the meaning of a generosity and appreciation for what we do to maintain and sustain a world system that is supporting each other equally. Appreciation means a-without price-  it is recognizing the value of our own work for the benefit and convenience it provides for us all.

                                          • There will be no more concentration of power since all profit will have to be immediately distributed to everyone in an equal manner. This is the end of corporatocracies, poverty, the elite, wars, imperialism, the have not’s, the middle class and third world countries – everyone will have access to the most dignified manner of living we are able to construct/ build and create for each other, as Equals.

                                          • Any desire for greed or power would be treated as a mental disease which will surely a security measure o ensure no human being is every again wanting to hoard any form of ‘economic power’ in the name of self interest.
