326. Free Trade and Buying Dreams of Progress

NAFTA among many other ‘Regional Trade Agreements’ i.e., special Free Trade relationships between countries have formed the basis of  neo-colonialism, a transnational plutonomy horror show that we all buy into the moment that we think that progress is a cool idea to pursue for ourselves and our nation, but never care to ponder at what cost. We bought the lie and now have to get Self Honest about what we have all accepted and allowed in our attempt to become rich and powerful. Our demise has been directly created by our own Greed – yet, there is certainly a way out of it.

Problem

In my country, México, in 1994 we became part of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with the US and Canada. I can only remember the crisis of the subsequent years experienced by people that had engaged in housing mortgages adopting an ‘upgraded lifestyle’ that became impossible to sustain, eventually losing the house, becoming sick out of the amount of stress it represented to keep paying the bills, dying and passing on the debt of a house they no longer inhabited to their children. People sought ways to make money through counterfeits and robberies that affected my family, and consequently myself existing in a constant fear of realizing that our house was suddenly not ours and that unless we pay the bank, we would have to get out of it. This intermixed with the fear of a civil war with the Insurrection of the Zapatistas wherein I experienced the fear of war for the first time in my 7 years of age, which never happened, but nonetheless it was proof to know that there was something profoundly wrong going on when my currency went from  being 1000 pesos to 1 peso and believing that the only change was a ‘simplification’ to avoid all those zeros next to it, because that’s how we were taught to adopt the new currency rate.

México became part  of the GATT the year I  was born in 1986, and managed to follow all the ‘right steps’  toward becoming part of the ‘great league’ of the developed economies i.e. adopting free trade  in an attempt to become more powerful by being an ally with our northern neighbor(s). These were ‘good housekeeping’ measures acknowledged by the IMF as a potential candidate for a new ‘openness’ of the Mexican market such as implementing de jure Fixed Exchange Rate, Deregulation of Privatization – which meant getting rid of the State Owned Enterprises which had created the well known ‘Mexican Miracle’ from the 1940’s – 1970’s and privatization, introducing Capital Market Integration. However, such measures imposed overnight during Carlos Salinas’ term in office were absolute speculative measures wherein the capital influx that was suddenly being invested in Mexico – due to apparently successfully living the Market Fundamentalism of liberalizing everything – lead to a growing interest on our ‘under developed economy.’ Yet, the money was obviously well spent by our ‘authorities’ and according to an apparent  ‘lack of coordination’ with the US, we had a ‘liberalization miscarriage’ that caused the eventual downfall where the weakness of national reserves were hidden from the international panorama –IMF / U.S. –  and our currency devalued –some say – 50% in December 1994. This lead to an ultimate ‘bailout’ from our impending doom offered by no one else than Mr. CapitalismUS, which was  ‘offered’ in the form of the NAFTA that meant having ‘special relationships’ with the US and Canada, liberalizing trade which is another form of Imperialism where the hegemon of the coalition dominates the ‘weaker ones,’ and so the downfall of our nation began, not that it had been ‘great’ after the 70’s either.

The effects of ‘Free Trade’ in this country have been devastating as in any other country in the world that suffers the same Free Market disease, we were pushed to be the Hands that provide cheap labor to those that have the capital – U.S. – this also meant sending 10% of our population to the US to make a better living when seeing the rural agriculture camps being owned by corporations, forcing them out of the place with no further reason other than having better plans for their fields. Mexicans have ended up working in jobs that were Not preferred by Americans, while facing illegal treatment that is another form of calling a dehumanization that became part of an immigrants manhunt that continues till this day, not to mention the racial discrimination that is paired with the African Americans and any other race that is not ‘purely  white’ in America. Yet the remittances on a yearly basis have been ‘great’ to our economy which is what justifies the massive social problem that immigration represents, not to mention that people truly would like to come back home, and some are now coming back upon the impending doom that the U.S. is currently facing, which will inevitably also affect ourselves.

The same goes for people in the fields, in rural areas owned throughout generations by ‘indigenous people’  whose crops are systematically owned by the corporations that ‘distribute’ their products while paying them nothing for the amount of work, dedication and physical strain that such work implies. It is heartbreaking to see them, indigenous people that were once self sufficient living in the tranquility of the mountains now having to be selling candies and puffed Disney toys in traffic lights, becoming maids or even worse renting themselves to panhandle on the streets. It is also schizophrenic to know that we got the Richest man in the world living here, and currently I am able to connect to the internet thanks to his telecom enterprises;  we all wanted progress and ‘be a first world country,’ but never specified under which terms and conditions.

We export the best quality food and products there, so what we get at a popular level is ‘second class’ type of foods, selling our natural resources like oil to be refined and turned to gas there only to be brought back to be sold at a higher price, just because we don’t have the means to do the refined process, in other words, too expensive apparently. We have great resources and people willing to work, but when wages are significantly lower than our northern neighbor, our intellectuals and educated ones,  people that could make a difference in the country, go and live abroad to have a ‘high quality lifestyle’ that is only achievable to a minority in this country.

We have been continually existing in a fraudulent government just as any other nation while multinationals get all forms of subsidies to make business here, which is an ever growing presence in our day to day living, becoming so used to this fast food lifestyle that any remembrance of what was the world like before McDonald’s seems like an old past that most people would not dare to go back to, because: we ’embraced’ our progress, we liked our ‘Americanized’ way of living, and so wrought our own demise.  Our once state owned industries are now privatized, we bit the apple of seeking a superior status in our economy and the effects are half of the population existing in poverty, with massive Drug “Free Trade”, cheap labor, immigration and resources being sold to benefit our Northern neighbors. Yet, we have all complied to this ‘lifestyle’ of fast foods, images and worshipping the American Dream that is sustained by a feeble to non existent structure of psychological power embedded in a currency that remains as our exchange rate for practical trading purposes. I’ve heard a thousand and one great ideas to better our country, but our uncomfortable neighbor stands in the way of any form of sovereignty and frankly, I would not be able to trust our own government with such ‘power’ either, we have to become part of it too.

I’ve witnessed the effects from being a psychological ‘impaired’ society that is apparently incapable of ‘ever’ being equal to our Northern neighbor, we will always remain the slave labor force that ‘knows nothing’ and is easily sold for a sense of comfort and cheap quality goods that ‘make our day’ worth living for. It is a permanent ‘under development’ economy that has to sell its integrity to remain within the illusion of ‘peace and progress,’ which is also non existent due to the massive illegal gun trade as a result of our ‘War on Drugs’ to eradicate a problem that stems from having been psychologically ‘owned’ throughout over 500 centuries. The world has not changed at all, capitalism is Imperialism with the same tactics that lead Great Britain to become a Hegemon, later on leading the way to the US in our exact full circle historical resemblance of the Roman Empire and its ‘peripherals,’ but nonetheless the Empire must come to an end, and it’s already happening.

This is a sum up of what selling our soul to the devil in the name of success means and NAFTA was the act that consolidated this. However this can be applied to virtually any other nation that is coerced to form part of these treaties through a ‘diplomatic’ way or through the use of force i.e. wars. The latest introduction of Monsanto in our nation is just another necessary move to eradicate the traditional agriculture that has been existent for thousands of years, a certain move toward the end of any form of sovereignty left upon our most important source of food, corn. People are devastated, but we also became complacent to vote off our rights to be politically aware of how this entire crime against life took form in the shape of our progress and economic development. We are all paying the price for it and certainly, we’re not the only ones.

Solution

  • It is only through political democratic means that we can decide to create a new order in our world that is not based on hegemonic powers deciding over a nation’s economy and trade. The solutions at this stage is to understand that when we comply to ideas of happiness, success, an ‘American Dream’ that is absolutely only a ghost of the past that once was, we are complying to sell out our lives and resources for another experience of a lifestyle that is never ‘enough’ for anyone. The solution resides within each one of us becoming 1+to the political force that is yet to emerge, a decision to become active participants in the matters that rule our every day living. We have to stop being so enthralled with our personal endeavors for success in a machinery that leads to a certain death and instead give meaning and purpose to our lives through becoming the generation that stands up all around the world, to place an end to the oppressors and the oppressed, to stop looking at ‘progress’ with eyes of benevolent interventions and instead realize the psychological and physical imperialism and imposition that these treaties represent.

  • We are the cause these treaties have been signed, because we’ve accepted the idea of greed as a normal thing in our human psyche, it is not and the effects of our disease have been rotting the foundations of our human nature that has never in fact lived in absolute integrity with each other, nature, animals, plants in order to create a system that honors each other in an absolute Equalized conviviality and coexistence.  Do we care to know that our products are the result of slave labor? Do we care to know that the environment is being destroyed so that we can have our ‘progress’? Acknowledging these facts as true upon personal investigation is a matter of self responsibility, which I suggest taking into consideration with an open awareness of how we are the ones that have created this global crisis that no one will be able to escape from. We rather stand up and become the solution to implement an honorable way to live and create a system that values life and not an experience of ‘having more.’

Rewards

  • The decentralization of power in the hands of a few will result in an empowerment to the people. I would like to see children being born knowing that they won’t have to work on the streets with their parents selling toys made in China to make a living, but will be able to live in a dignified comfortable home in ‘rural areas’ where education and all the necessary living services will be available,  learning the necessary skills to become an active contributor to generate a common well being that will no longer be sold to any form of ‘external buyer’ that ‘pays well’ at the cost of having no other alternative but working instead of studying.

  • It will be great to realize that people won’t have to leave their homes and families seeking ‘the American dream,’ but can remain at home empowering their own communities with production and trade, that will enable educating and raising their children to become equally wise with practical skills that should be remunerated equally to any other ‘executive’ in the corporate world that will still exist, but will be coexisting as an equal working force wherein we will learn how to live self forgiveness for the past – and instead support each other to leave it behind and embrace a new cooperation between individuals upon the realization that there is no need to sell our best products to an uncomfortable neighbor, and instead live of what is produced at a local level, which will improve the quality of our lives and the relationship with the environment significantly.

  • We will be able to  self forgive a past of colonialism and hunching down to others that we’ve perceived are ‘superior to us’ as the ever present inferiority when compared to ‘the rest of the first world’ and instead,  engage in a collective responsibility to ensure that we equalize our ability to educate ourselves to those in first world nations, because we can create the necessary conditions to create such well being if we dare to let go of delusions of grandeur for one and for all, and realize them for the spells and  dreams that they always were.  Instead, we’ll learn how to value life in Equality, the only cure to our delusional greed.

302. Competition in Equal Money Capitalism

“The Pursuit of Happiness has become the Bizarre Runway of the Human Rave, where Each One can Pursue their Intent of Happiness Individually, without Competition, because “you can make your Own Rules about What makes You Happy. All you have to do is Exclude anything that will make you Unhappy and that will Inconvenience you.”
So, in this Process – we Now have Achieved the Ultimate Separation. In this Separation, we do not have to Care about anyone or anything else but our Intention to Win, because: “to Win is Good”, “to Win place us Above everyone else in our Own World and we become the Centre of our World. In being the Centre of our World – Only those things that work for us is Important…everything else, we can Exclude”. – Bernard PoolmanDay 298: The Power of Intent

Redefining CAPITALISM

Capitalism is an economic system that is based on private ownership of capital goods and the means of production, and the creation of goods and services for profit.[1][2] Elements central to capitalism include capital accumulation, competitive markets, and a price system.[3]

Competition
n    noun
1    the activity or condition of competing against others. ØEcology interaction between species or organisms which share a limited environmental resource.
2    an event or contest in which people compete. Øthose with whom one is competing: you have to innovate to stay ahead of the competition

We’re looking at one of the basic concepts in which capitalism operates as a philosophy of ‘the economic self’ that seeks to set any necessary new rules to justify self interest  as an individual freedom at all cost. It is vile in nature since there is no premise of equal support to actually fulfill such intention to begin with, which makes the ‘competition’ already a point of disparity, a rigged game wherein the entry to ‘play the game’ is not readily available to all and as such, it can only result in further separation and social polarization since there is no sense of collectivism within this operational mode.

Let’s keep in mind that competition is ingrained from our very family and education system, wherein the design of being the ‘winner’ is what is associated with a feeling of success and prosperity, disregarding the counter part that is relegated to being the loser/ inferior one that didn’t get the same opportunity to partake in such competition in a fair manner.

Within this, the exhausting need to remain ‘innovative,’ and competitive in terms of prices have lead to an over-wrought corporate indulgence in our society wherein all forms of deception are accepted and allowed without a second question, just because we see ourselves ‘outside’ of the game in being able to determine what type of products are sold, how are they advertised, what would be considered aggressive marketing and many other outflows that are currently happening in our society, affecting much more than just a consumerist-habit and infecting the individual’s self acceptance, self image and self worth in a world where all that matters is ‘making the most money.’

This is now all a part of the consequences we’re facing and as such, part of the basic concepts that must be aligned in order to implement the Equal Money Capitalistic System.

Problems

    • What is the meaning of competition under capitalism?

Competition under capitalism, is simply the right to life, liberty and property applied to the sphere of production and trade; free competition means that one is free to take an any action, unmolested by others, which does not violate the rights of others. This is the meaning of competition. In observing what competition is, please observe what it is not. It is this free-competition that gives rise to capitalism’s free-market.

    • source: http://capitalism.org/category/competition/page/2/

  • Free competition implies the ability to produce Anything you want as long as it will sell and you get benefits for your own self interest to pursuit your Own happiness: you set the rules and the system is used to ‘make your dreams come true.’ The vilest act within this is that it is only a minority that gets to achieve such dream and most importantly, it is only those that already own enough capital to materialize such enterprise in the first place, which means this is only a ‘free opportunity’ for those that are already playing in the major leagues within the Free Market game.

  • Competition in itself is not ‘evil’ it is the revenue/profit made that is distributed only for a few what is the problem, which means potentialize  the power that is already existent by the ones that set the rules at their benefit to get the most of the profit at the least expense in production.  This is how wealth is created for a minority under the premise of ‘free market’ and laissez-faire to avoid any form of corporate social responsibility.

  • The ‘Right to Property’ is the base foundation to allow competition since this entitles any person to set the rules and terms that pleases them the most to obtain the most profit at the expense of using the cheapest labor – slave labor – and the cheapest pay for the prime matter/ resources to produce their product, resulting in what is currently dubbed ‘Liberty’ to pursue self interest with the excuse of producing economic growth, such as elevating a country’s GDP where no human life is accounted in fact, only numbers matter. This is what ‘economic efficiency’ is all about.

  • The ‘Right to Liberty’ is translated as the right to produce anything you want, which is the reason why we have so much –excuse my word – crap being sold for the sake of making easy money. This includes the ‘liberty’ to engineer products that break after the warranty expires in our infamous ‘Planned obsolescence’ wherein the producer ensures the right to make more money when people are  compelled to replace their perfectly engineered malfunction.

  • Right of Free Speech is now a way to advertise products with the most successfully brilliant words that produce the most charming experiences within the human being, ensuring a returning clientele using the ever permeable predictive behavior that we all present as human beings the moment that we make decisions based on feeling and not within a physical common sense act of consuming what is indispensable to live.

  • The ‘Right to Pursue Happiness’ which is obviously the great amount of laissez-faire profit made wherein you can have the liberty to avoid as many taxes as you please as long as you continually expand throughout the globe and make the most people eternally subjected to your product which provides a sense of freedom and liberty to the population that can afford buying such convenient product or service as a reflection of our believed human evolution and progress.

  • Corporate tax bills are being evaded and pleasantly rising up the revenues without holding back on invading any other corner of the world that adopts the brand as part of one’s ‘lifestyle’ which is also a sign of success in such a ‘competitive world’ wherein the more  you crown yourself as the leader in your productive field, the more capable you are to get the most condoning of tax evasion, because you simply set your own rules and no government has the right to intervene,  because it’s a Free Market! Perfect example: Starbucks has paid no tax since 2009, yet being crowned with the highest revenues.

  • Monopolies have become the way to ensure a single way disguised competition, wherein it is in fact only a few people that manage the ‘free market’ rules at their own convenience, presenting ‘alternatives’ as ‘choices’ as a façade,  yet this being part of the illusion of choice presented to the public.
  • Competition is based on the premise of scarcity, survival of the fittest and the belief that ‘there is not enough for everyone’ which is then used as a point of Fear to excel at getting the most profit, spending the least for work force and prime matter, use the most innovative means to promote yourself and be the absolute Winner of it all. The word ‘collectivism’ as mentioned in the previous entry, is seen as an evil meaning wherein we all know that red-fear flags lighten up whenever the word Equality comes up in a proposal for a new world

  • Competition is set to raise the quality standards of what’s being produced or the service that is provided, however it currently mostly leads to using the most inimical means to gain the most clientele/buyers/investors for the sake of betting for the ‘fastest horse in the race.’ And this is what we have become: a race where the ultimate prize as money is all that matters, the price that we have devalued life to currently, where all that matters is win-win at the expense of abusing, exploiting, maiming, torturing and owning people’s and beings’ lives, just to make a few attain the ultimate pursuit of happiness.

Solutions

  • Competition will be a single collective effort to better the quality of the product/ service and general well being wherein the organization in itself as corporation/business becomes their own reference point to ensure that quality is sustained or improved, resources are used efficiently, working force maintained at an optimum capacitation and interrelationships of mutual support. This ensures that the objective of the organization is at all times the realization of team work toward one single outcome.

  • Between corporations there will be no such rivalry and aggressive tactics to earn certain markets since there will be no such race to win profit. This will also reduce our current branding situation which has become invasive in our day to day living reality, wherein the sheer need to ‘win the market’ makes advertisement an additive to our already heavy environmental pollution.

  • Adding the basic principle of Collectivism and Equality to the distribution of all profit created by a business or corporation, wherein no longer will the price reflect the scheme of obtaining the most by the owners/ private property righters, but instead distribute all profit in an equal manner to every person involved in such industry/ business in order to benefit everyone’s pursuit of happiness in an equal manner, that means: Equal power results for all wherein Wealth is the distribution of profit in equal proportion to all participants.

  • Ensuring effectiveness in a company’s production will be monitored by any deficit created within the company’s revenue. Competition will thus become a measure to ensure that successful companies are the ones that are able to maintain a constant production and profit making while distributing the best quality of goods and services, which will stand as a point of reference to identify any flaw within other companies.

  • Collaboration and Cooperation :
Developing an economy that is based on the principle of: If you act in a way that is best for all, you automatically manifest the best solution for yourself as well. Considering that the world is a closed system and that we are not separate from the environment we live in – it makes sense to support the system as a whole in the most effective way – as this will ensure that we live in the healthiest and most supportive environment on an individual level. It is the most simplest common sensical  truth that if you lift up society as a whole – you lift up each one that is part of society as well.
186. Invisible hand is invisible because it doesn’t exist – Equal Money Capitalism and Providing Results that Are Best for All

When a company is unable to cover its cost and pay out its wages, they will receive additional funding from a Fund to which the profits go of companies who make a profit that is larger than required to cover their costs and wages. When such redistribution is required, an intervention takes place where know-how is transferred from effective companies to those who struggle to cover their costs.
    192. Demand and flexibility in Equal Money Capitalism

                Rewards

                • Equal Profit leads to the dissolution of hierarchical relationships that ensue separation and a general discontent that generates rifts in the ability to produce the best possible means to live. We’ll learn how to co-operate as equals and exist within the educational premise of realizing success and power only able to exist if every person is equally supported.

                • Equal right to be equally successful, no more fat cats and low-wages/ slave labor jobs, everyone’s fulfillment will be guaranteed, this is the real and sound recognition of Equal Rights.

                • Consumer and Producer’s satisfaction: no more planned obsolescence, no more corporate policies to evade taxes, no more indiscriminate use of resources to make the most profit with the least responsibility for pollution made and extraction-aftereffects since every corporation will be made accountable for the green footprint left as a result of the production process.

                • Fair trade: money will be well spent within knowing that no wealthy man is being made wealthier, but that an entire corporation as a cooperative is being equally supported, that is what Satisfaction guaranteed will in fact mean.

                • The Right to Life recognized as the ability to earn equal to any other person working in your cooperative/ corporation. This makes of competition not a race to earn the most money but instead, produce the best quality products and services for the satisfaction of the consumer.

                • Enjoyment of actual teamwork where no part is more important than another, but each one’s contribution is equally appreciated which certainly will allow us to value ourselves for who we are and what we do in an equal manner at last.

Day 36: Vulgar Display of Power

A spiritual master, a judge, a gun, the image of Christ on a cross, an exuberant city hall building, a prison, criminal record, a car, food, clothes, water from a tap, a toilet, a machine, a college degree, the Vatican, the White House, a famous person, a circus, a house, gold chains, kings, queens, a TV, a party, a synagogue, a sugary-drink corporation, a school,  a yacht, an ideology, a plant, a skyscraper, a personal gadget, a last name/ family name, a politician, a computer, a banker, a regular working man that ‘earns a living’ – in this reality where Money has become the divide between ourselves and Life in Equal availability for all, anything we use, abide to, follow, buy, sell and indulge into with masked innocent ways (read religion and spirituality) are governed by and represent a form of power over others – including your parents – why?  They all entail a relationship of power just as anything currently does in a world wherein life is subdued to the illusion of power that money entails in this reality.

“I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to use my dreams of wealth and success to become the control that decides the fate of many through protecting the rights of the few as justified as a free choice opportunity, brainwashing even many of the poor into the hope that they may also one day Live the dream without me realize that I have in fact created a dream for me, but a nightmare for others without considering that an Equal System is in fact a shared dream, without any nightmare as side-effect.” Bernard Poolman

The moment that we create a point of superiority and inferiority/ more than and less than idea and perception towards another being, an item, a single part of this reality that we create and generate a particular experience toward – either a want, need, desire, fear, resistance – implies one single thing: we are Not standing One and Equal to everything and everyone that exists in this world, and that means we are living in a constant re-creation of this Idea of separation through our current monetary system, wherein it becomes obvious that life is not being readily given accepted as one and equal for all in our reality, because we have created Capitalism as the way to instead become flagrant righteous beings that according to the amount of money you have, your vulgar display of power will be praised accordingly. And I say ‘praise’ because absurdly enough, we get absolutely mesmerized and tantalized by the ‘rich and the famous’ in this reality, to the point that we can have their sybarite lifestyles recorded, call it a “Reality Show” and it will get Millions of viewers that would rather get a vicarious sense of enjoyment from such vulgar display of power than informing themselves about How on Earth have we come to this low-end in society wherein Money is dictating the very breath we breathe in.

Hence the need to seek for god, the need to always have to decide upon yes/ no, black or white, be  in favor of/ against of others, subdue ourselves to a spiritual authority in the name of ‘good fortune’ where being a ‘good neighbor’ becomes a survival tactic rather than a real act of equal compassion. Because of this separation toward life, we have made of this living reality a constant survival mode wherein having food, water, clean clothes and proper sanitation can be a luxurious lifestyle for those that have Nothing to eat and drink; while on the other side of the coin, the need to capitalize money drives an entire civilization that is willing to do anything possible to get to achieve the regularly promoted ideal of happiness and well being that, in our contemporary society, means ‘being rich and having it all.’ Why have we accepted wealth which is a blatant display of spite toward any single being that is below the range of what any regular mortal can aspire to throughout a lifetime and not see it as abuse, but rather justify it with blatant excuses such as: god made us this way, people are paying for their past sins with such unhealthy pauperdom.

It is an absolute dissonance currently to click on an RT video to watch news about an ongoing war situation in this world and having to bare watching advertisement campaigns that fashion industries have designed to – now in a more ‘royally fucked’ way – implant the absolute desire to ‘be strong and powerful’ that is currently promoted toward women, transforming an opportunity to stand equal to all living beings – males included of course – and making it just another gimmicky ‘fashion statement’ while instilling desires for such ‘absolutism’ that was accepted some centuries ago in this reality as the ultimate power: having it all and the world at your feet (or below you several meters from your balcony.) Has anything ever really evolved? No, it just got suited into a TV format wherein the ruling of a few has become the very corporations and institutions that we all depend upon, once again, because of Money.

Ask yourself: why do we study degrees? To be able to have a stable income/ job that enables us to life – this is according to theory of course, as it is being proven now how having PhD’s can get you nowhere or remain underemployed, which proves that everything that you have specialized yourself was ‘not worth it’ in a reality where all that matters is to live fast and die young – which translates into: consume all you can until you end up eating yourself away. This is what at a physical level we actually do when accepting and allowing a reality of consumption with no regard of what the hell it is that’s giving us this ‘power’ to exist, and why on Earth is such power is not readily existent/ given for ALL in Equality.

We have now created ‘special considerations’ toward points in our reality wherein we justify such disparity and polarization when having to watch femmes seducing men in expensive gowns within a royal palace for a few seconds before watching information about an ongoing war with no signs of receding. Why is such vulgar display of power a must-watch for all? Because of money, because advertisement has become a powerful industry in direct proportion to how often we actually indulge into such ‘lifestyles’ as a means to mimic an idea of life that cannot possibly be a Reality for all. Come on, we’re being fed dreams and the naivety of it all is: we still fall for it. Other ‘special filters’ include justification towards abuse due to ‘respecting’ a particular culture, tradition, religion, preference, opinion – all building blocks of the illusion that we have become as selfish beings that don’t really care about creating a world that is best for all, but rather improving and evolving into ‘better ways’ to have it all for oneself and for that: Money is the weapon of choice.

                How does this work?

“I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that a system of wealth and property rights is a system of control that is a form of protectionism where only some are protected against the others that do not have equal rights.” Bernard Poolman

Isn’t it a vulgar display of power to have the audacity to squander money in things you don’t require to live while the world starves?

Money is the manifestation of Inequality in this world. We essentially have become the living-split and spite of ourselves when transforming life substance into energy, wherein Money represents that fuel that we have all made ourselves dependent upon, our own  enslavement as ‘our world system/ society’ wherein if you don’t have money = you die. And who benefits from this? Anyone that has generated enough wealth to be able to employ needy people created and accepted by default as ‘poor people’ in society to do the type of jobs that your regular rich person would simply not move a single hand to do. Thus this clarifies how abuse can only exist in the name of power/ power can only exist if abuse exists and abuse can only exist if energy as separation exists.

“ I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that once an Equal System is in place, me as the wealthy will no longer have slaves whose Lives I can buy and will have to clean up after myself with my own two hands. This will force me to realize that I as the wealthy have only ever existed at the mercy of slaves and that I have abused the slaves without mercy and should not expect mercy when I never gave it. “ Bernard Poolman

A person that is not willing to give to another what they want for themselves, is already abdicating the very ability to live in this world, it is digging your own grave as it is the ultimate statement of you not willing to stand in the shoes of another and consider that they too are yourself and would very much like you tot care about an extreme level of  poverty and unhealthy precarious conditions that they are enduring.  There is certainly no regard to any other being the moment that a definitive stance against equality is established and complaining does a great job to abdicate our equal responsibility within this global problem we’re facing.

“I commit myself to the Institution of Democracy as Government by the People, through the People, in fact – with NO authority abdicated to parliament or single Leaders, as that always leads to abuse.

I commit myself to the recognition of the crimes of wealth and ownership as the admission of pre-meditated murder and abuse to do grievous bodily and mental harm, so that morality and integrity may be restored to be values of Life and not profit.

I commit myself to the end of the Tyranny of wealth and ownership.

I commit myself to restore Life to be the only acceptable nature of man on Earth.”

                Bernard Poolman

It’s in our hands now – we either continue deprecating Life into a sensual experience that comes and goes where consuming the most is considered as being fortunate, lucky and wealthy – or we start realizing to what extent our own “values” are the very reflection of a twisted morality that has been shaped Not according to what’s best for all, but according to the interests behind a machine that continues instigating desires, wants and needs while defending it with the infamous ‘free will’/ ‘free choice’ and ‘liberty’ – all false concepts now being used to promote individualism at its finest.

The key to stop the engine of this roaring chainsaw is in our hands.

THE THIEF – Animation + Music by Micah Buzan

Reality TV is NOT Made in Hollywood

We’ve been watching some documentaries that reveal the current conditions that we are living in as part of this world, yet not aware of it due to our confinement in the places where ‘everything is fine’ which are the cities and places that obtain all the benefits from the products and resources that are only ‘sold’ and ‘ready to be consumed’ in the exchange of some coins and bills, which certainly leaves behind a ghostly and quickly evaporated trail of HOW such products and resources are able to appear nicely packaged in the shelves of our local Wal-Mart – which btw has now gotten to India now, asserting their current status and power as one of the most successful slave-job industries hitting jackpot around the world with selling slavery-made cheap disposable products made in china, paying slave wages to workers and earning the most comfortable profit that comes from distribution  due to its international expansion with almost imperialistic tactics, smelling the trail of juicy amounts of money unwinding in ‘expanding economies,’ which is just a fancy name to name-the-game of becoming a great player in the capitalist game of abuse and exploitation to make the most for your pocket.

More often than not we are trapped in our own bubbles of individualized perception wherein I as the mind is the only thing that exist as if the sun revolved around us. We are entertained in our own thinking processes, walking our own Hollywood movie while missing the reality of this world, which we certainly now have the option and ability to watch if we are able to have internet and a pair of eyes and ears and enough self will and self direction to hear and see in an active mode, which would imply the realization that: this is our creation and we must take self responsibility for it. No more passive consumption of information.

I’ve shared before how it is through these documentaries shared by people at Desteni for some years now that I’ve become more aware of  what is happening in the world I live in.  I’ve opened my eyes to a reality that existed beyond my personal delusion of ‘wanting to escape this world’ without even being aware of the actual atrocious reality that others are merely surviving through every day. And this is not to ‘know the reality that others face’ for the sake of ‘feeling fortunate about my position,’ which is how I was usually told by my mother or family members to then ‘be grateful for.’ That’s also a load of crap as we are here to realize what is currently being experienced by fellow human beings – that are also you and me – for the sake of realizing what it takes to have our nicely packaged products and services at the flick of our wrist that holds money to buy it. Buying in itself is then the single act of agreeing upon the abuse that the creation/ production/ manufacture or service provision entails as all the lives – not only human – that are affected through its process from being something that is only ‘here’ as part of Earth into becoming an entire product that can be bought and sold = made profit from while raping the Earth in absolute disregard of all life.

The very fact that we use money is entailing our absolute acceptance of slavery by the single fact that we play a blind eye to not see or – in most cases – even be interested of getting informed, becoming aware of how things are created; how animals that we eat are being slaughtered and kept in hideous conditions, how the clothes that we wear, the iPod that we carry around, the computers that we sit in front of and virtually everything that’s currently sold is made and will entail at least one single abusive commercial relationship – yes that means money related. I can assure you, most of the stuff we consume if not ALL of it is the product of slavery, of low barely-to-live wages and often deplorable conditions doing jobs that we would probably not even imagined existed, yet existed as part of the forces that create the products that we consume, products that we’d like to rather  believe that come from a nicely antiseptic and clinical environment as some scientist’s laboratory.

I read Cameron’s blog “The Sulfur Ghosts of Indonesia” which was a very cool self-reflection on his experience and general realization on what’s portrayed in this greatly made video that shows the reality lived in this same world while we might be caged in our little boxes where everything is seemingly just alright.  This documentary shows the reality of what other human beings have to go through every single day to ‘make a living’ Once again, all of this existent because of money, because of living in a world wherein the countries with the most resources are exploited by those that have the capital to manufacture and produce goods/ services with what is obtained/ extracted through slave labors which means the abusive treat of workers with a  minimum cost for the extraction of resources to make the greatest profit once it hits a store near you. These men are filmed while they have their regular menial jobs going down the pit of an active volcano to get sulfur, carrying up to 70 kilos and drinking alcohol as a fake source of bravery to go through this each day, amongst many other experiences in between that I’m sure we cannot even begin to comprehend through this.

The particular situation of this documentary – and similar to the cocaleros situation in Bolivia “Risking it all” also produced by Al Jazeera – reveals the day to day actual hard work that is endured by people to make the least to live while dreaming of someday being able to leave such places in means of a better life. It is literally heartbreaking how while this is happening somewhere in the world there is an entire schizophrenic egotron alternate reality lived in other places in the world where self-pleasure, entertainment, greed and the most unbelievable hedonist treats are created out of and with the money that is made from the exploitation that is inflicted upon these people. And somehow we even dare to say that what happens somewhere else in the world has no direct correlation to our lives. That’s just unacceptable upon the face of the blatant evidence of this around the world.

I agree with what Cameron began saying which is how I am here being cozy in my room watching this and in moments even getting lost in the aesthetics of the entire film and the picture details which I certainly had to snap out in a moment to see my own programming, seeing everything as a nice picture or ‘quality made material’ and for a moment forgetting about this being The Real World and getting in the ‘mood’ of it being a movie. Fuck “reality TV,” that’s just another sickening move by the media to make believe that ‘reality’ is all about personal conflicts, relationships and all types of human drama lived in stages places where ostentation and the stupidity of man become the protagonist. No, that’s NOT Reality TV at all. That’s just a cool business for those that seek to sip the most out of you.

Bastian made a cool comment upon this activity of documentary watching which is how this is what should be broadcasted 24/7 on our TV Screens. I mean, the most I get at times is reports from ‘human trafficking on CNN’ and related matters;  the rest of the fucked up hundreds of channels are specifically designed to make believe that ‘reality’ is able to be categorized according to personal preferences with regards to what our “lifestyle” is all about: sports, cooking, sitcoms, movies, music, news, audio channels and repeat. Oh and have your remote control with little lights in case you fail to see the three digit code for each one of them.

I was saying how I got lost in a moment for seeing the picture and its quality and beauty, revealing that I was no different to the tourists that take photos of such places, smiling while slaves are passing by – and we even dare to see ‘them’ as part of the entire novelty that such places may represent for someone that comes to ‘pay a visit’ to the place for a couple of hours and then leaving off with a nice souvenir, while people literally leave their thousands of breaths in those places, doing the same every single day while pondering about ‘the west’ or the ‘north’ where all of that which is slaved is taken to make some other fellow human beings rejoice by seeing what the mighty bills at hand can obtain in one single moment, completely oblivious to this other side of the coin.

Watching documentaries sometimes leaves me with an intrinsic desire to end all of this nonsense in one go, like wanting to desperately give an end to this nightmare for other human beings . Though it’s clear how that only reveals the point of not wanting to face ourselves as the entire network of self-enslavement and limitation that we are existing within ourselves as our mind and as the world system where we are the actual evil that have pacted upon our enslavement to this make believe system called Money, which stands as the almighty god that everyone is currently subdued to.

What may seem like our everyday ‘living’ and part of ‘who we are’ can be someone else’s pipe dream somewhere else in the world.

We are probably too fixed with the idea of suffering and despicable human situations linked to starving people by default of which we only get to see in ubiquitous pictures and films, often seeing them in a passive mode  that has lost its ability to ‘shock’ and has become part of the popular imagery – yes how fucked up is that. Yet, watching people in their current slave jobs, watching animals in situ where their worst nightmares are perpetuated, watching “criminals”/people in jail, telling their stories broadcasted for anyone to hear is something that literally allows us to place things into perspective every time that we dare to, for a moment only though, step into someone else’s reality, a fellow living being reality in this same world –from insects, to the trail of water, to people’s lives in certain countries and religions, from slave jobs in highly risky conditions to children sniffing glue in the subways of Rumania – from getting a spiffy bird’s eye view of the world with gloomy data on our world’s depletion of resources to the understanding how the water that we buy in bottles is only a thousand-time profit making for the companies that sell you your tap water; from the massive and hideous killings of dolphins in Japan to the viewing of hundreds of tons of wasted food being dumped around the world, while holding that initial image of people starving as the ultimate depiction of human suffering.

I’m glad that I’ve been linked to watching them all which is yet another awesome thing about walking as a group where we share what we are watching so that we can create a collective awareness of other beings’ lives on the same planet and how it becomes another reason of why we are one ‘vote for world equality’ so that we can finally give an end to this daily torture that human beings that are you and me as well are going through.

What I just remembered from the great impact I had when watching these type of documentaries almost 4 years ago is how I would go into a mental experience of ‘feeling sad’ or ‘feeling bad’ and indirectly guilty about it which only lead me to enhance yet another personality and victimization point where no self-responsibility was realized.

Now it’s a matter of seeing the reality as it exists and stopping any form of reaction wherein I see and realize that this is our creation and we can only use this information for the sake of creating a solution that will make sure that their lives will no longer be bound to money, to make sure that we get educated to get to know about these atrocities and how we as humans are directly creating it all. Is suggest you read Cameron’s blog to see what sulfur is used for and we’ll understand how the requirement of it is a byproduct of the current capitalist system that we’ve accepted and allowed as ‘our world’ where some are meant to be fucked-for-life while others are meant to live as kings of the hill where coins and paper bills pay away the most basic needs that people living in slave conditions buy to barely survive, basic needs that should be grated for all human beings by mere virtue of being alive.

As far as myself, I got to see yet once again the bubble and literal containments that we live in. When I say bubble and this make-believe world as the cities that we live in, the image of this dream-like structures created by Jacque Fresco for The Venus Project come to my mind. How would such ‘cities’ be able to stop the suffering of people that are used to living in such rich natural environments and that could actually live a very basic lifestyle while enjoying themselves – which is how I personally see that life should be – and instead have people in this ultra automated structures where hedonism becomes the ultimate ‘goal’. This might seem ‘off topic’ yet it is used or seen as one of the plausible options to create a ‘better world’.

Seeing the reality of people in say non-western type of societies allow us to see how we have set a ‘standard living’ based on the same propaganda that we’ve been fed with throughout our entire lives. And it’s not like we should now feel ‘guilty’ for this as we literally didn’t know anything better, we weren’t aware of this at all. This is how in news channels when they shift the news from violent repressive acts to talk about the queen’s new royal drapes for her palace or this or that pollutitian’s new ‘reality show,’ or shootings in a war zone, protests occupying the streets… that’s all part of the entire showbiz of this reality, as it produces the expected reactions within people that will shape their opinions to then have a ‘say’ about this world based on how the information has been deliberately structured and conducted through media.

This is why we don’t get to see these documentaries amongst other interesting and constructive information that expose the media itself, the corporations that are making the most of us buying into the traps that will vindicate their actions as some form of development, progress, defense of a nation, preventive measures to shut down potential enemies, exposing half-assed truths where the remaining half is then left aside to only create the effect of being informed and omitting speaking about any form of potential solutions, as it would also debunk their entire business while creating a certain profile of being an informative-caring network.  If there was no juicy profit making for CNN, would they still care about slave labor? How come any news or any media hasn’t ever openly shared space or proposed for an entire reform to the system – not even your alternative media gets to such point yet.

This can only confirm that the actual solution is still not seen or is still dumbed down as ‘impossible’ or as a ‘pipe dream’ without realizing that such ideology and criticism is only stemming from the same media that has taught us about the good and the bad guys in this world, failing to promote self responsibility obviously or supporting a critical eye view based on facts and not made-up sentences. That’s something that is often – may I say – deliberately side viewed as not many would like to continue watching the reality that is created from our very actions of buying and consuming what is here through money and if that happened, their audience would be reduced substantially which is not good for the pocket’s health.

At Desteni we are becoming the new culture of life, the new way of living as a human being that directs himself/ herself to become informed through articles, news, documentaries and writes upon sharing what’s realized in common sense. This is a deliberate self willed action that is done while others are partying, ‘drunking’ and  seeking for the next quick fix to keep existing in a fuel-generated bubble that will eventually have to burst.

The culture of life entails that we stand within a principle that’s best for all, that we are walking as ourselves wherein the process of expansion and self realization in self honesty is certainly not nice or beautiful, as it is realizing the entire fuckup we’ve created of this world as ourselves and in that, seeing that the solution won’t come from our preprogrammed chauvinistic authorities that seek to prolong their power and influence over people, it won’t be an easy one-two-three playskool scenario either, it must  be created and directed by people like you and me that are seeing the reality for what it is without compromising ourselves through money for it; it’s about realizing and daring to continuously face the reality that we’ve neglected all along while ‘living our lives’ through the tell-a-vision, through the nicely framed reality we live in. It places our entire ‘real world into perspective with a great kick in the ass when we see how any ideal of magnificence can only entail an entire army of slaves to be able to build it. And that’s what we are still pursuing as humanity, that’s what we’ve become: the oppressors of fellow living beings that disregard life and exploit it all in the name of money.

Hence, we are the ones that must stop existing in our little bubbles of self-created movies wherein we are constantly seeking an experience, a ‘something going on’, a point of limitation to hang on to, where wanting/ needing/ desiring becomes the constant in the humans equation of what ‘life’ is.  What is Life really? Certainly not known or even explored in actuality by a majority in this world. We are all neophytes within the realm of actually living as all we’ve known is this current staged living condition governed by Money as the ‘own-me’ that we have accepted as value upon us. We are only now  walking the process of getting to finally live through understanding our creation, through taking self responsibility, through stopping all cycles that have enslaved each other as the current structure of the system through deliberately acting and willing ourselves to live  in ways that we become the solution that this world requires.

We cannot expect things to be done in ‘automatic’ as we know what ‘automatic’ leads to and we only have to look at this world to see what our disregard for all things and all people in this world as proof of the ultimate irresponsibility conducted by the human in its attempt to make illusory mind superiority into a reality which is proving to be unsustainable and only becoming a crime against life that must be stopped for once and for all.

Equal Money System so that we don’t blow this entire world up.

Dare to care, inform yourself, get yourself out of the limited mind frame of reality that more often than not is limited to viewing reality through a screen. So why not using such resources at hand for a supportive activity that can actually allow us to expand our current perception of the world to expand our horizons about what needs to be done here in order to dignify people’s lives.

I do recommend doing this as it focuses ourselves on the solutions that must be created which then places all seemingly distractive self experience into perspective where we can only vow ourselves to support us to see it for what it is, walk through it and direct our efforts to understand the ‘greater picture’ where not only ‘I’ as the mind exist but we as all living beings that are sharing this one single planet that we must stop from ceasing to exist.
